  1. I agree that it paid homage to L&O, especially since they have the same creator. The vibe of the show seemed different though. L&O was so structured and rarely strayed from that format. CJ didn't seem to be tied so tightly to that.
  2. Although this was my least favorite of the Chicago shows, I still enjoyed it and am bummed it got canceled, especially since lower rated shows got renewed. IMO, it was not trying to be Law and Order. It was clearly it's own entity and for whatever reason, since it wasn't ratings, NBC chose to cancel it.
  3. She looks really unattractive, as she is supposed to for the role, but agree, it took a minute to get used to. I was rooting for Megan in the beginning but she is starting to come across as too whiny. That waffle maker scene was brutal!
  4. LOL! I hear ya, but even if you were kidding, I could see them going there.
  5. God I never even thought about that but it makes me throw up in my mouth a little. They absolutely WOULD go there. YUCK!
  6. Decent episode, but in reality I don't think the case would have ever made it to trial. He was guilty of being a despicable low life and possibly child abuse, but that is it. Don't understand all the Valdez hate. She's a single, ambitious, rising attorney who doesn't want a husband or kids. Everyone gets to decide what path is right for them.
  7. I'm still liking it and looking forward to it. It's a guilty pleasure! I think I might be one of the few who likes Megan and I am anxious to find out more about Kyle's backstory.
  8. You're probably right, but its kind of a "boy who cried wolf" thing with him. After 3 hours of him scheming (Part 1 and half of Part 2)I have little patience or sympathy left. I still haven't seen much past that point so maybe something will happen that changes my mind.
  9. I'm in the middle of watching it now, so i haven't read any other posts yet, but the scene where Steven falls out of the golf cart just happened. When he started screaming and crying, I wanted to punch him in the face and scream STFU you crybaby! I know, I'm going straight to hell! :(
  10. That "break up" with Anna was just stupid and really poorly written. UGH! I hate when they have to get rid of a character quickly and present something so poorly thought out.
  11. You're right!! Maybe I need to let it sit a little longer on the DVR.
  12. HA!! I finished the episode, but not sure I can do another 2 hours of Part 2. But it is kind of like watching a train wreck. You have to at least peek!
  13. Steven was even worse than James K. I know there is a part 2 to Steven's story, but he repulsed me so bad, I'm not sure I can watch. I know the people they feature aren't always likable, but it would be nice to get back to someone who I didn't despise in the first 15 minutes.
  14. It was kind of a letdown to have Maddie tell Patrick she knows he's FBI so quickly. I know she would tell him, but now it doesn't seem quite as intriguing as it did. I'm still anxious to see how it all plays out, but Patrick lost all his magic now that he's just your basic FBI jerk.
  15. OMG! This made me laugh so hard!! I do the same thing.
  16. Wow! I just watched the original Chuck episode and he reconciled with Nissa at the end, so very sad that they didn't make it. BUT I can totally see why she dumped the man-child. How awful that he walked away from his kid! Would love to see a follow up on her.
  17. Wow!! You're right but I never thought about that! I hope they don't leave us hanging until next season. Or even worse, cancel it! It had to be a set up. Even with the "unbelievability" of TV, the coincidence factor is just too much. I would think they were watching her and saw her go in there before or it's very close to the bank so they just made some assumptions.
  18. Do you think Patrick is into her too, or it's just "work" He's as good at this as he is!
  19. I agree with this completely. I do feel a little "mean girl" but he's so mean to Lisa and Bayley, it's hard to feel bad about it. His attitude and the total ingratitude make it impossible to root for the guy, presently.
  20. A teenager should not have to clean or even see Daddy's junk! I think that is child abuse. He really is a horrible person. This isn't his girlfriend or daughters fault. He's a grown ass man acting like a whiny ass child. UGH!
  21. Realistically, I'm shocked they even let a 70 year old do surgery. That in itself is rare.
  22. That GFM page was disgusting!! He should be banned from there!
  23. Exactly!! My patience with him was exhausted by the end of the episode. He's a whiny-ass, manipulative, man child who needs a wake up call. He's really just a horrible person. I know his life hasn't been great, but there's a lot of people with problems that don't act that way. I really don't see why his girlfriend is getting bashed either. This isn't her fault! He's an abusive bully and she's not bright enough to realize she can walk away.
  24. Totally!! Some people have literally no shame!! You can't embarrass them because they have zero pride or scruples.
  25. This is so true!! And I really hate when the Dr. yells at them. They aren't force feeding anyone! How about the person who is 700 lbs. takes some accountability?!?
