I love that song so much. It's my second fave Bowie song. I consider it Bowie's "Angie", which is probably my second fave Stones song. I just henna'd yesterday. I used to be able to go every two months and not use it at all in the summer when I'd get red highlights from the sun. But hard water and some grey have me doing it every month now. I have a recipe that I've developed. I brew red Zinger tea (4 bags) in a cup of boiled spring water. Then I reheat that and add it to the henna, 1 Tbs of ground ginger and 1 Tbs of olive oil. And then I leave it in for 3-5 hours. I did 4 hrs this time. The spring water is because my hard water was making it not last very long at all. (I didn't always live where I live now.) The Red Zinger is acidic and helps the henna cover the grey. The evoo is for conditioning. The ginger is supposed to help with the smell. I've been using henna since 1980 and I still hate the smell of it. Luckily it only stinks for a week. But in the heat of the summer the smell comes on fast. I think I might be a little over sensitive to the scent, though. And I have a special outfit I wear when I henna, I call it "the rags of hell". Henna can be messy and stain stuff.

My fantasy house would have their foyer, complete with the same grandfather clock, carpeted stairs and of course a portrait of Barnabas Collins.

I hated Caroline and Millicent when I was a kid. Rewatching as an adult I surprised myself by liking Caroline a lot. And Quentin? Oh, yeah! He might be #4 on both of my lists. But I sort of have to separate the adults from the child actors. I loved David and thought he was a fantastic actor, both when I was a kid and an adult. And Sarah - as a child she was one of the highlights of the show for me. So she's dear to me, with her South Jersey/Philly accent, even if she's not the best actress. And of course I wanted to be Amy when I was that age. Memories.

Thanks everyone for the lovely belated bday wishes. I really wasn't angling for them, honest. But I do like that Y&R and I share the same bday. Even if the show's not what it used to be. I can't tell anyone here where I live, but I've been enjoying this unseasonably long winter weather we've been having. Everyone else, and I do mean everyone else, has been complaining so much. How can I tell them I like it? When I hear the daily complaints I just shake my head and say, yeah, but think, yay!

I think that was the only year I was ever happy. Still hoping for another good year. Happy Belated, Peaches! I just shared mine with Y&R. But I'm a little more than 45, ahem.

And a huge meme. I still feel like I have a specific memory of something humorous relating to it that I just can't access. Oh, well.

I loved the surreal/dreamlike/sci-fi music behind Liam when he had his melt down! Fantastic! It just made the scene all the more better. It just seems too early for them to conclude the actual mystery part of who shot $Bull. It did look like someone other than Liam did it in Liam's flashbacks. I want to guess that a dazed Liam made his way to $Bull's door and $Bull had him lay down on the couch, which as I understand it you do not allow someone with a head injury to do, and Liam did see what actually happened. But $Bull thinks Liam was too out of it to have witnessed anything. Liam just hasn't regained all of the memories yet. And hopefully he'll remember seeing the belly-rubber and Wyatt in bed while he's at it. We really need Taylor to come back and hypnotize those memories out of him.

I went to the website. Saw a picture, or freeze frame, of the captains including Josh and said, F it. Couldn't leave the site fast enough. I want to watch the show, as pretend-drama as it is, but I really don't want to watch Josh do anything ever again anywhere any time any way.

Barnabas, Angelique and Josette were my three adult favorites, in that order, when I was a child watching the show. As an adult, let's see, I'd go Barnabas, Angelique, Julia, if I'm only picking my tip top three. It's kinda hard to choose, so many actors brought so much to the show and the show is so dear to me.

Absolutely. Sheila as much as told Sludge so. She was like, you told me to do it. But I do not think she did it. I think she was warning him not to involve her in the mess. I think she thinks he did it. And if it was returned-from-the-dead-twice-already Taylor who shot $Bill, then I almost hope Sheila shoots her again. But as I've stated before - I don't want to see Sheila wasted with a quick out. I need a nice long drawn out Sheila story. And I still think that Sludge and Quinn were together that night so his alibi is a secret that will blow apart his and Quinn's marriages. And then we could have loads more Sheila/Quinn drama. Yay!

I was laid off last May and I only just got a full time job. (I did get a couple of freelance gigs last year.) It is hard to find work and it does take time. Try not to get discouraged.

Oddly, I do think that cats have certain personality traits (?) that go with their coloration. Orange cats tend to be super friendly (and mostly males). Black cats are good at finding things. I think I used to know a few more, but forgot them.
