  1. For those who do reddit as well they have a pretty good subreddit on the show with individual episode threads and everything.

    Spoiler

I will say one thing I didn't like about episode 10 was that they left Carly in the fridge the entire time with no one thinking of calling the fridge guy to come and try to get him out. Sure maybe it won't have worked on the end but not even an attempt?? I don't care how big of a douche he's being, he's still the executive chef, it's still his name unfortunately on the line, and it's still his restaurant.

    Also, I don't think I like Claire. I don't dislike her, but I don't like her either.

  2. So I'm watching episode three and I was wondering who all the people Syd visits were since they had a distinctly non-actor vibe about them (and I very much do not mean that in a bad way) and if seems  they weren't. Fun article from Vulture take about the different places. Definitely lends credibility   and reinforces what I remember hearing during the first season in that chefs and restaurant staff were both obsessed and traumatized by the shows authenticity in his crazy and chaotic (and toxic) restaurants can be.

  3. Please yes to a full forum!

I'm just done with the second episode and it's still as anxiety inducing as ever.

@possibilitiesI think it's Marcus's mom and no, I don't think we knew about her (or at least that she was sick) last season. But I also binge watched that whole season in a weekend so very possible I missed a reference.

  4. The first episode had me dying! And there are two more doors that need to be opened!!

I didn't laugh quite as hard at the second episode but the scene with the mom's in the living room was funny as hell. And I completely forgot about the existence of the sisters but Charlie dealing with Amy of his family is always the most adult Charlie. And his comments on Mac and the uncle ... like seriously dude.

  5. I'm fine with Kyle going home. Quite frankly he should have gone when he didn't complete the challenge on the first round. Granted the white chocolate (or whatever it was) flattened "water balloons" were dumb but at least it was something.

I don't like apple but I like caramel apple. And I actually always think of grapefruit as winter since my favorite(& only one I love) grapefruit is only harvested in winter months, but I'm also on Florida so everything is summer comparatively.

  6. I've never watched to many of these but since Yohann works for the same people I do, I'm here for him.

I always find that I tend to prefer baking shows more than other challenges because everyone is just nice and encouraging to each other. I like that vibe. Im going to go against the grain and say that I'm not a particular fan of Kyle. There's just something about him that is very grating to me. And I haven't been that impressed with some of his stuff. All I could think of with the log was that it reminded me of Christmas. Like why is there a Christmas cake on the plate? Between that and the macarons that weren't macrons.... The lemon inlay was very cute though.

  7. @ebk57 great article, thank you! Personally I think the first couple of years of H: LOTS are some of the best episodes of television ever. I always want to extend that out just so I can include Kellerman in there too. I think Diamond's character meshed with the cast so well I think of him as early cast group rather than later. They did get a little soapy with Kellerman as the show went on but honestly that's show development/writer's fault.

And I too have probably read Simon's book more times than any other

  8. 1 hour ago, MaryMitch said:

I liked how Calvin was so sympathetic to Dave's situation with his father.

From previews it looks like Kevin Pollak is going to be Dave's long lost father - he played a similar role in "Mom".

I thought of that as well. Poor Kevin always getting the I abandoned my family roles ...

  9. Really, because the plaintiff struck me as the type who could never believe darling angel baby boy ,who apparently had been lying this entire time about the defendant emptying out the bank account, could possibly be in the wrong here. And they never got the money that the bank account paperwork shows was paid....

  11. Really even if Jay changes his password it won't matter without fingerprint or 2 factor authorization. Wherever he is he has no idea if the ghosts are there or not so do all he knows he may be alone when in fact a couple are just there standing over his shoulder and watching the new password go in.  And he really shouldn't have to cup one hand over the other or hunch over the computer keyboard every time he wants to log in while he's in his own home.

  12. Rand may be a lot and super immature but he's good a right to be pissed at his fiance. He or a party together for her current and then she just ditches the entire thing.... Yeah I'd be upset was well.

The biggest question mark next week is not if Dan is leaving it's who from the original run is putting in a cameo.
