  1. I can't handle both Dottie and Ebu. I barely today's one awful person, we don't need a backup.

Have they mentioned Moreniki and/or where she is at? I don't recall seeing her this season.

I really didn't like the idea of bringing Christina back to MaxDot. The reasons she left (the disrespect and taking blatant credit for her ideas) are still valid, to bad the show cheaped out on the ridiculous "slept with an underling" nonsense.

Do I have it right that Dave was promoted with no raise? Because a promotion without a raise isn’t a promotion; that’s just more work. I wouldn’t let that fly either. It’s perfectly reasonable to say you want to discuss compensation, given the increased responsibility.

I would have thought his GS would have changed with the promotion.

OK...confused. Major storm where I live last night so I missed parts of the show; did they get rid of the cult or are they an ongoing subplot?

    They got rid of them.

  4. Flower tends to get on my nerves but I really liked her in this episode. And the ending made me tear up.

Thor likes 90's sitcoms. That's adorable.

Poor Jay needs some friends. Can we bring back the construction guy from last season?

  5. Conner's hair was fantastic. Like it's own award fantastic. I need to remember that when this site's award nominations come up.

I like this show more and more every week. I like that everyone is basically just nice people. They love each other, they want the best for each other. No one is "edgy" or an asshole  just because they can be one. It's a nice change of pace from previous shows.

I wish Sarah and Denise would stop talking about having a baby when they are broke. And the actress playing Sarah is so hugely pregnant it's like an elephant in the room. THREE MONTH hiatus and she couldn't have timed that better. Ick.

Artist? She is mass marketing a plain white vase in her kiln. It's like Home-Ec pottery class.

It may not be very good or very original (and personally I think it's rather boring) but it's still handmade and ordered on an individual basis. It may not be my art, but she's still an artist.

I hated the scenes with the vase. Of course it cost hundreds of dollars, not $18.50. Of course they were going to break it the way they were treating it. What was more annoying was that it wasn’t delivered in a padded box.

The fact that they thought "eighteen fifty" meant $18.50 and not $1850.00 for a handmade, custom (?) vase is asinine. Two thousand is a lot to me but twenty bucks is a massive devaluing of an artists work.

  8. I'm an outlier as I don't mind Grover and I don't think the actor is bad. I think he acts age appropriate, I believe the character is supposed to be preteen, so 11-12 and that behavior seems like a preteen who's been pretty indulged and sheltered.

I just can't believe Calvin got a new truck!!

  9. Bless y'all. I got through the first episode and about 5 minutes or so of the second. I'm sure the actress who plays Nikki is a lovely person and perhaps a very good actress in other things but dear heaven, wow she is not good here. Between that and the god awful wig they have her in (I have turned into my mother and "Can you please get your hair out of your face sweetie!!") I just can't. And I'm not sure who she pissed off in the wardrobe but with the fringe pants, hat combo in Ep 1 and the weird lace shirt and her inability to walk in heels (or was there a reason why she had a limp walking into the house?) it's just too much. The brother is mighty pretty but not pretty enough. And Trace needs to tone down the dick attitude a smidge.

I'm gonna pray Jesus be with y'all sticking it out. You are made of better stuff than I.  ;-) ;-)

I'm like this too.  I saw that a lot on soaps.  There would be a straight up villain but because he was attractive or funny fans would handwave his crimes away and then the writers taking notice of the villain's popularity would start the redemption arc.

This is exactly why I stopped watching General Hospital after decades. The fandom over Sonny, Carly and Jason was insane.

  11. Paramount+ is justifying me keeping it after Mayor of Kingston ended because I now have Danny Messer and crew back. Damn I had such a crush on Carmine Giovinazzo (and Hill Harper) back in the day.

  12. I just got back after seeing it for the$3 cinema day and I liked it. Thor's always been a bit silly and it definitely leaned into that but it works here. The kids getting superpowers and fighting were probably my favorite part. That little girl with her bunny might be my favorite partnership ever!!

That's good to know, because I've been considering watching, once I get Hulu which I'm considering and the main pull for me was Gomez. I've always liked her. Also love Steve Martin but have close to zero patience for Martin Short as himself. I was hoping he was more tolerable in this because he's playing a character.

Definitely try it. I'm actually enjoying this season more than the last one as I think the big three have really found a groove together. Short is the more zany of them, Gomez and Martin are the straight men. She gets a lot of criticism for her rather flat affect but I think it works as she balances between quiet exasperation and warming up to them.

  14. I'm pretty sure I have always said samwich now that I think about it and I'm about to be 47.

I'm pretty obsessed with It's Only Murders in the Building and I find Gomez a highlight. I have not a lot of patience for Martin Short but his brand of humor works here. I think the three of them bounce off each other very well.

  15. THESE EPISODES ARE TOO SHORT!!!

Now I have that out of my system, holy crap on a cracker. One, Cinda's a bitch but Poppy ain't wrong. I was an assistant for several years and the amount of secrets you can find out about a person is crazy.  The shit I could have done if I had wanted too.... Cinda should remember that.

This is the most I've ever enjoyed Jane Lynch. Sazz breaking up with Jan was gold. And continuing even though "it got porny".

    Michael rappaport is being wasted.

Finally, I watched this while eating a dinner of 2 dips, crackers, and chips. I felt very Oliver-y.

I think it was Mabel. It's just like a recent show which I won't spoil but the main character spends the entire series defending herself from committing the crime she's accused of. Then when the series ended and everyone live 'happily ever after' in the credits, it was shown she was indeed guilty.

And now I'm spending my afternoon at work trying to figure this out ...
