The one thing that is preying on my mind is that the plaintiff did not appear to be dripping in wealth (i.e., I did not see a wooden wine bottle hanging on the wall) so why in fresh hell did she spend so much for a toothless grandchild’s one year birthday party?  I don’t understand this.

That's easy. That table was 100% about beating out her DIL (the one who's actual child was the super-premie in qyestion) and had nothing to do about the kid. Fucking ridiculous and I wouldn't give her damn thing (but I'm a petty bitch). And those Oreos looked amazing and I'm not an Oreo person either.

  2. I know I'm alone but I like the Dada stuff (though the art will save the world crap is a little eye roll inducing). I can't connect with Madame Ridge though. I thought the others were more interesting, I wanted to know more about them

Anyone know who the vice of the brain was? It sounded like Elliott Gould

  3. Ehh, I don't think this is the best way to evaluate a show. I know I'm on the minority but I like this season way better than anything with the candle monster and that damn kid. I also like the exploration of the other characters (though Ronnie does not need to come back again).

  4. Damn, that was worth it!!

well I guess I now know the point of Jan.

Mabel killing bunny just doesn’t make sense though. They finally one-upped her and she now didn’t have any credibility with the residents. Why would they run that? I guess next year will tell…

Shopping Bags (the reusable ones, instead of plastic)

Oh my gosh, do you want some more?? I think mine are mating! I and just one person and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. Every place I go that has swag/goody bags = another bag!

  6. After every crazy, weird ass, ridiculous thing the past two seasons, creepy pseudo step-dad of the not-quite-as-moronic-as-her-friends kid may break me. Everytime he's on camera I just want someone to punch him in the face. Repeatedly.and then hit him with a car. Or chopper. Or loch Ness monster.

I'm having a hard time that the three are booted out over the podcast on a simple show of hands too. It's an eyeroll for me for the sake of drama on the show, but it's hard to believe with no actual crime committed they couldn't drag it out in court. Oliver, not so much, having the outstanding rent, but Charles was there 30 years basically invisible.

I know. I mean I suppose if they violated some portion of a HOA or something similar maybe, eventually, an eviction could happen, but it's take likely a lot of money and time and Bunny doesn't seem that popular.

  8. I'm definitely in the minority as I don't mind reboots or revivals. For the most part I've watched both versions of the ones mentioned here and truthfully don't see much of a difference between the originals and the remakes (whatever your want to call it). Most that were ridiculous the first round are ridiculous the second round, if they were poorly written and/or one-note originally, they are again. And I don't necessarily mean this as a criticism. I the first Dallas, but for the most part is was fluffy bullshit. I watched the second time and it was still fluffy bullshit. Fun, but still ridiculous.

  9. These kids got to get even a little bit smarter or I'm going to start rooting for the Chick with the Good Hair  and Mack the Knife. At least the kid who's saddled with the crappy mom and T-Bag (I'm trying to decide between this nickname or The Guy With the Little Dick aka TGWTLD) may have a glimmer of smarts. I mean who steals a bag of money and a bag of drugs from an accident scene, watches the driver get shot, and think the best course of action is to them sell the drugs to some random cause "I know a guy". Sweetie you're 12 you don't know shit. Sit down.

I feel bad for Jerrie but I get it. Lindor is a nice guy, respects her, has her back and is cute.

  10. I've never seen this thread before! Fun.

When I was about 16/17 I was at Church youth group. It was over for the night and some friends were leaving before me so I'm outside while they're driving away and I raise my hand to want bye. Only I (apparently) forget where my face was, mis-wave, smack myself on the face and knock my glasses off. My friends ended up laughing so hard they hit a parked car.

  11. I lived the episode but there were some scenes that stained credulity: the side wise lip reading, the perfect lip reading, Oliver actually being quiet that long...

They didn't get much sympathy from me. Yeah he's better than his dad but that's not really a bar to be proud of. Once he gave up Mabel's name and then let Ann innocent guy go to jail for him... Nope.

I don't have anything against Amy Ryan but what's the point of the bassoon lady?
