  1. Contessa - while you are buying that plane tix for pops, do what you need to do so you can meet him AT THE GATE. I tried to get a screen image.. now Contessa has me looking at her "new toys"... is there something swollen about the left one? I can see hardness - just above where here dress begins...
  2. yes. an attorney - Fordham Law school if this site is factual ( link ) I think in her opening she mentions having 2 degrees.. http://www.bravotv.com/people/jackie-goldschneider
  3. I was thinking the same about Tammy... or she is a relative..
  4. the class in china ? My guess is that they were learning into to calligraphy (ie arts/crafts) - which Will does not know. If Zoey was awake, that would be her class. Did the teacher say the class was learning something about self discipline? That was about when I lost satellite.. I truely wanted to see that lesson... This might be a bad rumor, but it is possible that classes overseas are not on the same pace level as classes in the US. A 6-7 yr old class in china, could be like US 3-4 grade. now I would love to see his class/teacher/room in FL or even the old one in Houston.. Based on age, that would make him a rising 1st grader right ?
  5. I'm sure he did get some academic scholarships if he had the HS grades & test scores to get in. Plus he's the oldest of 3 , and his mom was making a small salary so possible that would have qualified him for financial aid awarded directly from the school. NYU does has a considerable university endowment fund. And there is always loans. Same is true for Jen. who completed her undergrad at University of Miami in Florida, which is private, then a medical degree at Johns Hopkins. People spend (or borrow) money on what they want to. That is why I take a small step back on stories where there is "no money" - sometimes the lack of $$ can open a door. Yes, there might have not been $$ for vacations, fancy cars, and other things, but when it comes to education, there is no financial limit and where's there a will , there is a way.
  6. back to Nonno , and his grumpy look, ... I was scrolling though the pix that had Joe from my earlier post and I found one of his-Nonno's mother... Nonno's face, disposition, stare, etc comes from her... ( link)... Tre better watch out ! :)
  7. ok now I have a point of reference for Jennifer's house -... Micheal Jordan's custom house that is for sale (9 beds 19 baths 32,683 sqft) is going for $14,855,000. Granted North Chicago isn't NJ but it nice to know a plastic surgeon can bring in the $$ like Air Jordan.
  8. I thought the dress code for all derby events at the minimum was business casual - meaning shirts with collars for guys; no denim, athletic shoes or "inappropriate" clothing. And the formal events you know about them prior to wear black tie. I missed anyone who was not abiding by the dress code. Agree - on the fool chef and those damn white classes. I wonder does he see himself on camera/mirror and realize that are are not a good choice. And do they have lenses in them? With so many frames on the market (in-store and internet) why those??He is giving glasses wearers a bad rap. Is Gail coming ? After watching the all-stars marathon, I will truely miss Anthony Bourdain . Speaking of judges/visiting chefs - let me say this before it happens again this season. I do not like it when there are 3 judges, each who know who cooked which plate, and then they vote, out-loud to camera, one by one. I would prefer if the judge #3 didn't know how/who judge #1 & #2 voted.
  9. I wonder if some of Alex's grips are for the camera. Esp the food requests. It gives him a "part" so to speak in each episode that already has 4 other child stars. Yes, Amber and Trent have limited funds, but that boy knows good and well he gets meals. I would also think if Alex did his gripping off camera as much as he does it on camera, Trent would shut that down quick. Now on the fears , yes we all have fears. But he gets tuned up just a little too much, too often, on too many different events. Its hard to say should Amber/Trent draw a hard line (ie make him do it anyway w/o the griping) , or, should they just let him sit out and he can watch others have fun-but he is not to spoil it for the rest by making unnecessary comments.
  10. Isn't whiskey also manufactured popularly in KY ? One good think I hope with TC being in KY is no more strange ingredients that are so regional that the avg person has never heard or nor can buy. with the tomato dish - it might would have helped if she sold it better (and cook down the tomatoes). say something like " tomato-pot pie" - like a a play on chicken pot pie. chicken pot pie can be made with Pillsbury biscuits on top, and yes, they do get soggy on the bottom.
  11. I would admit Kentucky surprised me.... I would have suggested Nashville if the theme was to be in the middle southern states and/or cities that are smaller than the prior 15 seasons.
  12. Heavenly's anger therapist made an appearance on "growing up hip hop Atalanta " and they showed his full name - Dr Russell Kawakami ( link ).. {side note - his website ... when you first go to it, there is a moving image of him - pointing to his temples--kinda creepy} Dr. Kawakami earned a Bachelor of Science in Theology and a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership from San Jose Christian College; he earned a Master of Arts in Psychology specializing in Professional Counseling from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology; and he earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Capella University. Initial Session - 90 minuets - $500. "Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or via PayPal – whichever is easiest for you!' "most insurance providers still do not cover hypnotherapy or guided spiritual meditation services, although there are some exceptions to that rule....we encourage you to speak to your insurance representative to determine whether these services would be covered if you submitted an out-of-network claim seeking to be reimbursed." Naw... I didn't check that website to see what is rating was like I do when I am looking for a medical provider.
  13. Wasn't Bill's dad a Vietnam veteran? And then later a NYC fireman ? If so, Bill's mom and the kids would have been entitled to some financial benefits (esp. medical ins). It might not have been much, but it would have been something. I would think (ok - hope) Bill's mom had other duties in the store - like stockperson (ie she also put new food on the shelf) or cashier. And its not unusual when those work in the store get 1st dibs on merchandise at a reduced and yes, maybe free price. I thought though there was a standard method to discard expired food, though - to make sure it is out of circulation and to resolve the store of any liability of distributing possible contaminated food. Well - I guess Bill was a industrious young man. To go HS, get odd jobs and still kept his grades up to get into (and stay) NYU as a biology major.
  14. loved Joe's response when she told him before the sisters came over... "Sh*t can you imagine if that ever happened to me ... and I had two Teresas ... { more cussing } that would be Hell." .. Melissa crosses herself... I felt sorry for the man - while laughing at and with him.... he's right... that would be beyond Hell..
  15. I missed the intro on Delores mom - what's her back story? Did her husband or someone recently die too (there is a underlying back story with the widows and widowers going on) . I saw alot of sadness in her face - maybe it was the "not feeling well". Do we know what is wrong ? I'm still stuck on eating cupcakes 3x a day..can't remember the last time she had veggies... I'm glad that now that Delores is an empty nester she can spend more time with her mom.. Melissa's mom & Marge SR might need to hold a "grandparent "session by being happy and close to healthy has possible - two good and happy looking women . Can't say about Jennifer mom - as she was so busy cooking and didn't say much on camera - other than "saving a plate food for Jennifer's husband" , which left me thinking, why is the mom worried about saving a plate for Mr-Dr. Evil ?
  16. I can see him playing football. He would have done it at the minimum to attempt to get girls (seems like he was born horny). And if his dad was so busy - I can see Joe wanting to attach to someone else's father or the coach by being around sports. he does seems to have some skills (ie can pass and catch; and that memorable scene where he openly tackled Juicy - that was a wresting takedown move). Also, the typical neighborhood public high school has to make their roster from whomever is there and "teachable". doubtful if Joe went to some fancy HS where a neighborhood of athlete- minded parents moved to, so that their child can get to Div 1 NCAA (scholarship)-NFL,MLB or NBA. I'm still looking but here is a OLD pix of him with a b-ball ( link ) - Isn't Joe and Tre only a couple of years apart - which means Juicy would have been in HS school too about the same time frame. Now his athletic skills... hmmm
  17. any man that is coming to take that screaming 5 yr old in marriage and off her hands - I would meet at the driveway. That girl gets way to excited when the doorbell rings..
  18. I had to look up the "barbie hello dream house" ... and walmart is sold out ??? R.I.P ToysRUs
  19. ok .. we now know one medical issue with Nonno... he had cataracts. I'm not familiar with the procedure or recovery - but to be knocking back shots as soon as you get home ? I would think the pain meds would say not to mix with alcohol. Tre has got to know all of his drinking isn't good for him. Tre - spend more time with Delores who is trying to assist her mom in making better food choices ( cupcakes for all 3 meals... that is a serious sugar addiction)
  20. Isn't Jackie a journalist / former attorney ? If so, I would be digging for holes in Jennifer's house story... Yeah right - you went to china to just shop for furnishings .. where Jackie and her family live for 3 years while they built that "hotel" - good one Marge.. who was the builder and decorator.... Given the shady business the men have been involved with on this show...has Jen's hubby been paying his taxes and appropriate fees for his business? I would admit the house still seems out of the price range for a plastic surgeon... c'mon Jackie - we need you to dig.. Jennifer - you have a Olympic-sized pool (now granted its winter), an indoor and outdoor b-ball court, probably a tennis court, world class gym equipment (cardio and weights) , stairs like a stadium, and your land is probably close to an acre and you can't find time (you have a nanny and school aged kids) nor ambition to work out ?.. Let me give you a start - ask nanny to cook nutritional meals - either new ones and/or make your traditional dishes more healthy (I saw alot of fried at the party) . Save mom's heavy cooking for sunday
  21. wow.. of all of the shows that came on all day Tuesday - the episode was #9.. beating epsn, cnn, food network, hgtv... ( link ) .. I guess TLC has found a show to help to climb its way back to the top financially w/o the Duggars. Now I need to pay more attention to the commercials that come on during the show.
  22. animation was too big to load but here it is : ( link ) . not a good look for supposely getting a good nights sleep.. LOL
  23. RE: Will playing with the chef's food prep...and back to double dipping which was last year... I do wonder now if he's modeling (copying) seen behavior... no one seems to be stopping or correcting it... as if "this is how we do it".... hmmm...
  24. I was going to guess everyone wanted 1st class...
