Yeah, I don’t think I want to know what he would’ve said? I never really get tweeting such negative things at people. What do these people expect? For her to reply to them on Twitter and go, “you’re right! Now I’ve seen the error of my ways and I’ll change everything to fit what you want and I’m going to tell you this on Twitter”?

The thing is technically this Laurel just got a new suit. Now, do I think she should be wearing her dead doppelgänger’s suit? No. But still. And isn’t she wearing it in the future? (I didn’t pay close enough attention to that in the FFs.)

Yeah, I have to admit everything I hear about the season makes me less and less interested in watching. I still will, but I just don’t really care about any of the characters other than Oliver, Mia, and William anymore. Yes, I’ll be happy to see Tommy and Chase again, but like I’ve said before, I’m still bitter neither ever had scenes with Felicity and they’re returning at a time when they still can’t.

Until someone tells me otherwise, I’m going to keep thinking “Tommy” is actually “Oliver” on another Earth. Don’t take my only 10% serious speculation away from me!

Obviously on another Earth Malcolm named Tommy Oliver for reasons. And then married Moira and that “Oliver” took the last name Queen for reasons. And there’s no SA Oliver on that Earth. And comic fans will get their GA/BC OQ/LL endgame that way, via CD and KC’s characters on another Earth. (I’m only 10% serious.) Also, I’m so annoyed we’re still not going to get any Felicity/Tommy scenes.

True. And now I want to see this. Or have Walter be GA. Just give me one more appearance from Walter, even if it’s just one scene and not our Earth’s.

I don’t care about alternate Earths at all. But I will laugh if those costumes are for GA and BC in Season 8 (this Earth or another) — and the BC is Dinah since I keep seeing people assuming BC=Laurel. (And I really don’t care if a GA and BC are together on another Earth in one quick scene because we already know our endgame.)

My first thought: At least you still exist, JJ.

LOVE THIS (And Oliver and Felicity deserve this happy ending.)

Would I like to see Felicity back and an Olicity reunion? Yes. But as long as Olicity’s happy ending is preserved, I’m okay. (In other words, don’t pull anything near a HIMYM. But I could never see Arrow doing that.)

As much as I love Stephen and Emily’s friendship and either of them talking about it, this has to be my favorite answer of the panel.

I was thinking the same thing then wondered if it also has to do with the set. The two of them chilling in a limo vs the bunker set.

This will always be one of my favorite moments. There was NO reason why Diggle and those arms of his couldn’t carry Felicity. As for when Oliver wishes he’d told Felicity he loves her, his answer may be different now (when he left with the Monitor) in retrospect because he’s thinking of the time he could’ve had with her before he had to leave her (for what he thinks is forever because he doesn’t know they’ll be reunited in 20 years). Also, he could even think, “well, it took a year for us to be together after the first time I said I love you (223 to 323), so if that timeline remained the same and I told her I loved her on X, then X+1 year later ... “ But I would really love to hear SA’s answer about this.

That was such a mess. And I wonder if she and Oliver hadn’t become romantically involved — I still think the character would’ve been better off used as an antagonist for Thea like she was in her first episode* — would she have thrown a drink on Oliver to see him without a shirt to see his Bratva tattoo? Because that would’ve been hilarious. “Oh, oops, didn’t mean to toss this cup of water across the room on you. Here, let me help you get your shirt off immediately.” * I think that dynamic would’ve been better for Oliver, Thea, and Susan. It could’ve hit some of the same beats — Susan investigating Oliver, Thea pulling a Moira to protect him — but Oliver could’ve mostly stayed out of it and his concern could’ve been primarily for Thea instead of the stupid, “Oliver totally cares about Susan even though we’ve seen no reason why he does or that he does and he forgot she existed immediately” line they tried and failed to sell. Oliver/Susan did nothing for Oliver/Felicity but it definitely hurt Oliver and Thea’s relationship IMO.

Whatever the scenes are for, if they were filmed, I hope we see them. Even if they’re rough cuts.

Yeah, and sadly, we’re never going to get an explanation for that. I feel like it was all because of the whole “Felicity is totally evil” thing they were trying to sell, but in-story, it makes no sense. Unless Dinah was just pissed they left SC, but then she thinks Oliver’s dead — and died in COIE — so that doesn’t make sense either.

Maybe it originally ended with Felicity, Mia and William at Oliver’s grave and that was the last image (his grave)? Sort of a, no, they don’t prevent Oliver’s death like people would probably think after the Monitor says he dies? So the Monitor would have been around anyway? And we could’ve been left to only assume Felicity’s own mission was Oliver-related?

That Mark of Four nonsense rang false to me considering how easily Dinah had given up on Felicity in the FF. Sure it was Felicity’s intention to come across as evil but come on. I bet it didn’t take much for Dinah to turn on her considering how she was acting at the beginning of the season in the FF. Introducing it in the present after showing how much it doesn’t apply to Dinah or Rene for 2 years in any timeline was the wrong move.

I just rewatched the end scenes and they killed me just as much as the first time. “My only regret is not telling you I loved you sooner.” Here’s my heart, Arrow. Take it. You already did with that entire scene. SA and EBR absolutely destroyed me. I don’t think I’ll ever have an OTP like Olicity — the chemistry, everything.

I'm really at a loss as to what to expect from Season 8 and anyone's involvement in it. I mean, I guess we can see how Diggle forms his agency, Rene becomes mayor and Dinah eventually loses her job at the SCPD, but I just don't care? Wondering if we'll hear anything this week or have to wait until closer to SDCC. I'm going to be watching Season 8 — not sure as a priority though — but I have zero idea what I'm going to be watching.

Still crying from that ending. WE DESERVED MORE OLICITY THIS SEASON. LOOK HOW AMAZING THEY ARE TOGETHER. That goodbye killed me. (But probably not as much as it killed SA. No one's going to miss Felicity/EBR like him, obviously.) Seriously, SA and EBR are amazing together. So amazing. Loved the OTA scenes we got. Finally. Wish we'd gotten more Felicity/Mia/William scenes this season. They were so, so good. The teams were way too big in the present and future though. Wouldn't mind Laurel and Bronze Tiger on a recurring basis if we got rid of Dinah and Rene though.

I really hope that's the case. "But I thought we were getting tattoos!" "Uh, why?" "You said it was a mark!"

Alright, 20 minutes left. I'll be generous and give anyone who's not OTA, William or Mia 3 minutes screentime. Combined.
