That really bothered me, too. He wasn’t worried about social distancing, it was just another opportunity to make his ‘wife’ feel alienated.

I’m so sad to hear about your friend’s son, it should never have happened. We have a local family (friends of friends) who son who took his own life…he was only 16. I suspect the number of teens who died by suicide related to Covid, is higher than those who actually died of Covid.

My husband is a nurse working at our nearest hospital. They also stopped most surgeries or anything else deemed not an emergency. Partially to keep beds available for the influx of Covid patients. They even set up in the parking lot for the patients they could not fit in the hospital. The influx never happened, many beds remained empty and the hospital eventually sent out an email that there would be absolutely zero OT for ANY employee. There were simply not enough patients to justify it. Fast forward more than a year later and all the people who held off on surgeries (that didn’t die while waiting) are now coming in at record numbers. They started paying double time to get employees to come in, because they’re so understaffed.

I have asthma and other factors that put me in the higher risk category, no experimental vaccine. Hubby who is fully vaxxed and not high risk got Covid last month, and gave it to me and my our teen children. He, ironically, was the sickest. I had to take care of him, while I was also under the weather. But thankfully I was able to still function with a headache and lost taste for about a week. He was also sick for a few days after his last vaccine. He regrets now ever getting it as does my elderly mother who is having longer term side effects after her jab. She has had to quit working before her planned retirement and is now worried that she won’t have enough to live on. I certainly would never wish harm to come to anyone who chooses what they do or don’t put in their body, especially when many medical professionals have stated quarantining and masking up are not encouraged. When Covid first came out I was admittedly staying at home, not seeing friends or family. Not to mention my kids at home because all schools went to remote learning. After many months, I not only was tired of living with fear and more so was seeing the impact isolation had on my school aged kids. I had to accept that life has inherent risks, and my risk of getting killed driving to pick up my curbside, no contact grocery order was higher than me dying of Covid. I respect those who choose to stay home, mask up or vaccinate, but I don’t think healthy people who choose to live life should be shamed or wished harm. Good for Gabe, I’m glad he is getting out there, and for Janelle allowing her son the choice to interact with other humans, unlike Robin. I’m surprised she didn’t choose the island in the middle of plague pond as her plot. As you said, Desert Rat, we’ll all catch it eventually. Christine and Janelle probably realize this as well.

Robin is a master of the long con. Ironically, her prize is a boob. Wait until she has completely alienated him from every wife, and has Kody 24/7, while the other wives are free of him.

I see Gabe being called selfish, especially because Janelle said she could die and it was not acknowledged, at least with the editing we saw. But let’s be real, Janelle is at a higher risk for dying because she is obese. Why is she not being called out? She as a normal functioning adult (and the parent) chooses not to lose weight, and stay at high risk, but is totally cool with banishing her son to an apartment. From my point of view, she is selfish one in this situation. Especially being that she still has a minor child who could be left an orphan. Yeah, I know technically she would have the sperm donor but he’s not an actual parent to any kids if they didn’t come from Robin’s womb, so she would be left without her only barely there for her parent. Gabe has Kody and Robin’s number. Some may not agree with his delivery, but he’s not wrong. Without Robin, Kody wouldn’t be following any protocols. I don’t believe it’s his MO. But it IS Robin’s. She has been calculating from day one, and her ultimate goal is to have Kody in a monogamous relationship with her. Who knows why, that’s another mystery, since he is no prize. But covid is the perfect opportunity to alienate him further from his family. On the flip side, I believe if covid didn’t happen, Christine wouldn’t have ever left him. Kody not being willing to be with his bio daughter for major surgery might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. I guess if there is a silver lining, that might be it.

A couple posters have mentioned it, but Kevin’s phrasing “it was ruled a suicide’ was very telling. My first impression was he thinks there was more to it. Another possibility; She found out about their affair and it drove her to take her own life? I actually went even deeper with my thoughts about that, but it might be a little too conspiracy-ish. Yes, I watch far too much ID channel.

Thank you! That’s the cheapest I found but was hoping to find it online cheaper, especially since I already pay for Hulu, Netflix, Sling and Amazon Prime 😬.

For those who’ve watched Polygamy USA, can it be streamed?? I’m searching online for it and so far only see it $1.99 per episode.

Okay, I did just see that episode and thought for sure it was it. But didn’t see the part where she mentioned VS bills unless that was discusssd in SM perhaps?

I’m starting over and watching from beginning (I’ve seen most, but I know when it first started, I wasn’t a loyal viewer). This is a long shot but does anyone remember which episode Robin dropped her bills on the counter for everyone to pay and explained why her long legs required VS bottoms?

Back when the show first aired, I only caught episodes when I remembered it was going to be on. So recently started watching the show from season one on Hulu. So many comments I want to add, but this is the Robin group so I’ll stick to her. She went on about the sisterwives being so kind, not wanting to hurt them by disrupting the family unit they have etc. Fast forward to talking heads and she and Kody went on a secret dress shopping date and he picked hers out. Wives are mad and Kody’s point is it’s a big day, that he’s part of and wants to be involved in the dress choosing. Christine makes a comment that he didn’t give a crap about her wedding dress, and I’m guessing same for the other two. Janelle and Christine also didn’t have a lavish reception (or maybe none at all?). Back then, they were completely enamored with each other. Fast forward to now...Robyn gets more excited over her food. Kody doesn’t seem to be so hot to trot for her either.

I thought he said a couple? If that’s the case, he shouldn’t be throwing shade. It sounds she like married John’s dad when she was very young, and probably not mature enough to pick a life long partner. I know 20 year old me was far different than 30 year old me. If she’s had a few marriages, then she definitely becomes the common denominator.

I’ve ashamed to say I’ve already seen it 😂. It was nothing to write home about and I have a feeling he’s trying to stop it from spreading for that reason.
