  1. I was just watching an episode when they were talking about getting one big house in Flagstaff. In Sobbyn's TH, she said, "I know what it is to be in a marriage and not want to be in that marriage anymore, but I think we ALL should have the right and freedom to leave, even Kody." Apparently that doesn't apply to Christine!
  2. I want Nancy Grace to do the interview! She would nail Kody and Robyn to the wall!!
  3. Kody claims when he wanted to reconcile with Meri, he sat down with Christine, Robyn and Janelle and told them and Christine went crazy. Then Robyn claims she walked in on the tail end of Christine flipping out and Kody told her it was about Meri. So, which is it? Kody sat down with all 3 together and told them or he told Christine only and she went crazy. It looks like when Kody and Robyn came up with this fake story, they didn't think it through.
  4. Why doesn't Kody give Robyn's adult children the boot like he expected of Janelle's when they turned 18 and then they buy Christine's house and move in and sell the McMansion. Then they could pay off the property and build.
  5. You know Robin ran right home from the porch meeting and told her kids Christine said she wanted nothing to do with them, even though she said she wanted space from Robin and Meri.
  6. Robin wasted no time bringing Christine up to Mykelti
  7. I think Kody doesn't like the whole RV thing because Janelle is using that to push building on the land and I don't think Robyn has any interest in leaving her McMansion and having Kody close to the other wives.
  8. I'm here with a huge glass of wine. I'm going to need it!
  9. I want Christine to ask Robin why it was ok for Robin to leave an unhappy marriage but she is expected to stay?
  10. He just cannot take any blame for his poor relationships with his kids
  11. My hand couldn't go up fast enough to this!! As Irate Panda said in the Live thread, Robyn's mask slipped all the way off this episode!
  12. Aside from saying the bathtub was only big enough for a footwash, when they saw Savannah's room with the bunks, they asked if that room was for the dogs.
  13. I was just watching the interview show after Season 1 with Kody and the wives and he said part of the reason he wanted to do the show was to show people what polygamy really means and to show them that is NOT a patriarchy. LOL He also said if a wife wants to leave, she can. It is her choice BUT that she has to take the children. He did then say that he would pay them more money or buy them a house close by but apparently a lot has changed since Season 1.
  14. As unrealistic as the show is, I still enjoy it. I look at it just as a "feel-good" show with characters genuinely caring about their patients (and each other for the most part) trying to do the right thing to help, in spite of big insurance companies, cracks in the system, etc. There is usually a happy outcome (even if it's in a totally illogical, infeasable way). A nice break from "real-world" for an hour. I can see though, if I worked at a hospital or had more understanding of the inner-workings of the medical field how it might drive me crazy.
  15. I agree that the character Nia Wells was a great match with Hondo. They had great chemistry and she did a good job of handling him. Time will tell how it will be with Aytes as his potential new love interest!
  16. I always enjoy reading your reviews! I thought Adam Chambers did a great job as Corbett. I, too, enjoy the slow dance of Chris and Street. I'm having a really hard time with Amy Farrington. I think it's a mix of her acting and not liking her character. It will be interesting to see where they take these plots this season.
  17. Is it just me, or does Anne seem to favor Tonya?
  18. Thanks so much for the info on the finale date and next season! Fingers crossed that it gets renewed!
  19. Does anyone know when the season finale is and if it's been renewed? I really enjoy the show and the characters but it seems like there isn't a huge following.
  20. W is for Wose. Specifically when Rose has the esophageal spasm and thinks she dies and goes to heaven which was an enormous train station and she saw her Uncle Johannsen, who died when he got hit in the mouth with a steam shovel. She hears him say, "Wose, is that weally you?" (She was so happy to see a familiar face....at least from the nose up!)
  21. OMG! This has baffled me for years! LOL Thank you! Now it makes perfect sense!!!
  22. This may have been brought up before, but the episode where Dorothy is going to remarry Stan was on last night, and during Dorothy's bridal shower. A policeman comes and says he was "called by Rose Nyland" and Blanche mistakes him for the stripper that was coming. Then the actual stripper shows up. Does it ever explain why Rose called the real policeman? I can see if they made it where she was doing something dumb and mistakenly called the police dept. for the stripper, but the real stripper shows up, so she must've called him.
  23. I wish they would've come up with a better theme for the finale. An antidote for an outbreak just doesn't make for very spooky designs. I wish they would've chosen something a little scarier and along the lines of Halloween, like demons, vampires, ghosts, etc. Also, after watching some of the reruns of previous seasons, it just seems like the talent/designs in those seasons were way better IMO.
  24. Many of you GG fans may already know this, but I just found out that the actor who played Dorothy's son, Michael and the actor that played Blanche's grandson, David are half brothers. I always enjoy the trivia stuff about Golden Girls. And I, too, cannot wait for Hallmark's Christmas in July to be done!!
