Excited to hear there’s a new production team on board, maybe this will bring a new flare to the season. The typical layout and style has gotten kind of stale.

This looks...unbelievably small as far as turnout.

This is actually for the WOD convention that travels around the world, but the actual WOD show on TV.

I think it’s mostly due to the pose. I can’t hold myself up on one arm for long. The only thing I don’t like is her tan. Several girls run too deep on Tan this year.

They haven’t done Gina any favors with her fake boobs. They need to find a photographer who knows how to pose the girls in a more flattering way. Not chest out “here’s my fake tits can you see them?” kinda way 🙄

Yeah a different picture isn’t doing her any justice. Take it down and acknowledge that she’s too thin and address it internally. Don’t subject these women to any more nasty comments. I swear to god their Social Media team all need to be fired.

This is stunning until you get to the over arched feet. Stop making them do uncomfortable poses, it’s so “pageantry”. This is adorable. Amy is one of the girls who I think needs to gain a few pounds, but she doesn’t look as scary skinny here and has a natural pose This is not ok. Whoever thought this was ok to put in their social media needs to stop. I truly hope she’s taking care of herself and it’s just a matter of struggling to gain weight. So far my favorites have been Alexis, Heather, and Lexie. Holy cow is Heather rocking it this year. I’m surprisingly not that impressed with Molly’s shots. She was my favorite rookie her year, but her facials are worse than Savannah’s to me.

Christina and Savannah don’t impress me at all. Still surprised they haven’t cut Sav yet.

Only seven retiring, wow! Probably two more could get cut in finals this year but not bad for have that many vets returning. Sad to see Khalyn and Tasha retiring, they were group leader material for me. Heather is a shock for me, but good for her. Can’t remember Caroline at all but kudos I guess 😂 I don’t watch the podcasts (and won’t until they get their shhh together) so it’s up to MTT for the girls to make a lasting impression for me.

I’d like to see less of tryouts and the bulk of the show be TC and first few games. I feel there’s more interesting plots once you get down to 40-45 ladies Less staged stuff. This show is the least “real” reality show ever. I don’t need Kelly and Judy to repeat the same info on how things work or the importance of this and that. I wanna see struggle, genuine support, more candid interviews. Cut it with the boot camps and fitness stuff. It makes me feel fatter watching people already in shape feeling the need to lose pounds. We get it. They’ve been including alumni more, but I’m greedy and would like to see them scattered around in various aspects. I feel like a few would even be qualified as judges and overall mentors over Melissa, even if it’s just a rotational thing. More focus on veterans in TC. I’d still keep the majority of the plot on rookies but I’d like to keep up with vets other than when they’re being called into the office for something. More vet/rookie interactions outside of practice (that aren’t staged at this coffee shop sponsorship mess)

So that’d make calendar the week of April 21. I guess they’re taking the chance and bringing all returning vets this year before any get cut in finals. I liked that they did it in the gap of finals and TC last year (or year before?).

I hope she comes back this season but she had an injury filled year 😔

The Making the Team Facebook page updated their cover photo. Still has Lacey and Kashara on it, but maybe the activity means we’ll get an official announcement on the show’s return soon.

I mean, advertisements is your main purpose when you choose to live the social media life. I get it, and honestly it hasn’t been super overboard. I’ve seen worse from Normal Nancy’s who just like to brag. I do feel like overall she’s become a bit materialistic, but it seems to be influenced a lot by Brodie. They’re in a different country like every month since they’ve started dating. Monster engagement ring, first class flights, week long trips to every beach in this world, Mercedes, mansion house, etc. I mean if you got it, flaunt it. She just married well...really well and she’s understandably going to get comfortable with it. Not trying to say they aren’t in love. It’s obvious they both genuinely care about each other. I liked her dress, and she looked stunning, but I do have a gripe with wedding dress designs these days...they all look like prom dresses! I feel like she would have looked just as stunning with something a bit more understated, simple lace or even silk. She can wear anything but her dress did lean a little Barbie princes prom queen to me. Going back to the lavish trips, I find it kind of odd that they have this crowdfunding honeymoon fund website as their wedding gift pool. I wonder if they “suggest” certain vets attend prep classes who seem at risk for not making it back, without having to pay (or discount?). Seem like a good way to keep everyone in their game.

Why is Shannon still involved with the podcast? Do any of the current girls have interests or majors in journalism? Let them run it themselves, or have someone with actual knowledge of the DCC take part.

Lololololololololololololololololol. Poor girl has been spoon fed and lied to her whole life. She’s an average dancer at best, if she can’t make DCC why on earth is she trying out for SYTYCD. Please come down to earth VK, you’re not that great.

She’s cute, but I’m sure she’ll realize she needs more time (I.e not this year) sidenote: Amy looks so good with straitened hair!

I could have sworn Amy was on the fence for returning this year, so with her getting married I’d assumed she’d retire but lord I’d be so happy if she returned. She’s my favorite personality wise and is goofy without being annoying. Coughkasharacough I could see Tasha staying, but she’s still looking like a weight probation example from the cheer nationals appearance they did. I don’t want her to be in the office all season over weight.

Did we ever find out why Lauren didn’t particpate in calendar shoot?
