I mean it was obvious she made the team and SG largely because of her Mom, but that's not enough to make her point. She was dancing with Whitney and Mia, both powerhouse dancers. I don't think anyone really expected her to have that position, she was still in the triangle though and that was being gracious. (it's been discussed at length in the former DCC thread)

She's not paying attention during practice in a cramped locker room, but there's at least 3 other girls (Hannah, Rachel W, Cianna) giving just as little effort off to the side. I'll be the first to tell you Cristina is the weakest vet (along with Savannah) but crucify all if you're going to crucify one. lol

I know, this is just me hoping something disastrous happens within the next few weeks. Anyone remember that scene from Mean Girls where Kady fed "diet bars" to Regina to help her lose weight for her Prom dress...? Need an express order of those stat. Milkshake flavored.

Oxnard is usually the first performance to kick off the season, coming right out of TC I'd imagine everyone would be off a little bit, even showgroup veterans. God I miss Khalyn :(((( She was my point pick for this year.

I think she meant TCC candidates. There have been TCC perform in uniform at cowboys training camp at home though.

I'm wondering how they're going to photoshop Daphne so that her weight isn't as noticeable in the final cameos. You can still see her ribs pretty prominent on insta story. :(

It frustrates me too. I guess I always thought that they thought it was possible to get a girls kicks up by the end of training camp, but IMO low kicks should be regarded just the same as someone now being uniform ready at semi's. It's an instant no. You are KNOWN for your kickline, why not only take girls that have kicks that are on par or close to Lacey/Holly's etc.? I know not everyone has the whole package at tryouts, but girls shouldn't even bother auditioning if they don't have the kicks. And I say this having loved some DCC who had low kicks.

If she makes the team this ain't gonna happen. "Only you can prevent forest fires" lol

I’m from the South, I get tradition, but this is dance we’re talking about. And they dance pre-game while the stadium is about half full anyway. I doubt people are that attached to thunder when they’re typically waiting in line for a beer at that time.

This. There’s tons of songs on top 40 right now with the same beat or something easily remixable to fit the routine choreo. But they could always change the choreo too...Look, I fully believe the DCC are the best NFL squad, but considering they’ve been doing the same pregame for over a decade now (with a few changes and switching 8 counts here and there) are they really deserving of that title these days? We pick on other squads with less technical abilities, but if they’re pumping out different routines more often that’s a given. i just think it’s well past time for them to change things up before people really start to get bored as well.

I love the new intro, it’s been a long time coming. Now i they’d just retire Thunderstruck... #itsbeen10years

@ShellyB forgot to ask last night on insta, but who is po.... jk, though I think people are extra curious this year because it’s not as obvious as previous years. Kash was a repeat, Jenna was easily going to be point until that whole incident, JKat, etc...there are too many options and wildcards this season.

While she was on the team I have no idea, but I believe towards the end of her 63rd year on the team she got that ridiculous movie gig that had DCC inspired cheerleaders that she “choreographed” and stared in.

...Amy’s personality is straight out of Disney channel sunshine land. Not sure how you see it as arrogant over Gina but to each their own.

I’d love to see Amy as point. She’s so underrated, but once you put a girl in that spot they really can amp up their game.

They’ve used TCC show group members before, a couple of years ago when they had training camp at the star. I believe it was Lauren and Gina who performed in uniform with SG days before the team was announced.

I don’t think Kelli has any control over Cowboys Fit, likely just recommended her like she did with Courtney a few seasons ago with some tanning job or whatever it was. She has connections and makes them for the girls all the time I’d assume. She may or may not actually be working at her dance studio, people keep jobs on their FB sometimes even if they’re left them. Either way both give her the flexibility to be in training camp so I’d imagine it was a no brainer for her.
