  1. “House Flipping in Flipflops with the 4site Family”
  2. They really need to have quintuplets. Twice.
  3. Yeah, it’s oddly normal. (Which is what I think this thread should be called.)
  4. I think that’s very true about JB a lot of the time. Clips I’ve seen of their foreign travels definitely show that.
  5. There’s a lot of that going around these days, even among parents who were not pro athletes. If she’s pushed into sports, she’ll certainly meet a lot of other kids in the same situation. And you never know, she may love it.
  6. I’m sure Derrick can pass the bar, and probably get a job. I’m much less sure of his ability to keep a job. He always seems to create drama wherever he is, and so far his work history contains a lot of walking out/getting fired. And then talking about it endlessly on social media.
  7. Jeremy isn’t a genius, but he came in at a point in his life when he had become much more worldly and experienced than Derrick or, bless his heart, Ben. My money would be on his having insisted on a separate contract, or at the very least on a contract between himself and Jim Bob.
  8. Ivy is kind of odd-looking, but she may grow into her looks at some stage. It’s very hard to predict what toddlers will look like as adults. Lissy is plain, but seems bright and cheerful.
  9. Well, again, that implies that Jill has no agency in her own life. It looks to me like she does.
  10. To be honest, I don’t know which not-Nurie is which. The shorter girl seems to have at least a tentative acquaintance with dynamics, which Jill clearly does not.
  11. Jana and Laura may be a bit older than the ideal fundy wife. And Lauren is quite pretty.
  12. It actually does have an ocean view. Also they have two kids with them. Very romantic...
  13. Yeah, that occurred to me while I was thinking I’d watch that. Boob and I are the same age. No reason to think I’d outlive him. I wonder if all those kids who grew up with the miserable nutrition in that house will live much beyond their father.
  14. That probably is actually Nurie’s dearest wish, considering the alternative is Jill’s jealousy and spite being aimed at her for nine months. Or forever.
  15. The “singing” wasn’t the worst of it. I briefly considered killing myself during the spoken word portion. Fortunately I remembered there’s a mute button! Jill must be awful to harmonize with. Her pitch is wobbly, and she’s determined to be the dominant voice so she’s just pointlessly loud. The girls seem more talented, actually. They both showed a lot of range in that song (it’s a dreadful song, but a good showcase for their voices). If they could be taught by anyone other than Jill, they’d probably develop really well. I think they’re both naturally pretty. A lighter hand on the makeup would probably suit their features better, but that’s a matter of taste.
