I am no fan of Amber either. However, she does get her children surgeries when they need them and they got speech therapy for Emma. Unlike Zach Roloff's children who have all sorts of medical and speech issues that are not addressed expeditiously. I realize the older son had some kind of surgery but his legs are still severely bowed and the little girl has speech issues. Amber seemed to be on top of all of that for all of them. Especially since she's going to be a nurse and she understands birth control.

Remember, he sent her money to build that house. And from her perspective, that was a lot of money. She saw that as being rich. And then once he got there, she was just as controlling as she was before he got there not to mention that she was hit in the face with reality. Look at the mug she had on when she met his mother. Not only has his mother figured her out, who would warm up to that face and that attitude. I understand that the mother was already prejudiced but if she had arrived and found a warm and smiling individual, perhaps her opinion would have changed.

My opinion, neither one got what they thought they were going to get. She thought she got herself a rich American and he thought that she was going to act in a civilized manner once he was there with her. He has no money and her behavior did not change one wit. So that is why they are so pissy.
