  1. This is the thing about Khloe. In general, I find her to be one of the more likeable Kardashians. But, it's clear that she has an army of staff helping with her kids. Those nails alone are evidence that she's not changing any diapers. And, hey, I don't judge her for that! As long as the kids are fed, clothed, educated, and loved, you do you, Khloe! It just becomes very difficult to get on board with the "poor Khloe is raising her kids as a single mother" narrative that the show is pushing.
  2. I am all for escapist reality TV where the stakes are low but ... I just cannot bring myself to become interested in whether Kylie dings Kendall's Porsche.
  3. I didn’t realize that Heather’s youngest child had transitioned or is at least using masculine pronouns now (the chyron identified him as “Heather’s son Ace”)? Anyway, there are a lot of negative things we can say about Heather but at least she seems to genuinely support her kids and allow them to be who they are. I also wonder what it’s like for her to film with Tamra’s son, given his comments about trans people. Watching Heather smack that bigot down would be 10000x more entertaining than listening to narcissists Tamra and Shannon argue about who ghosted whom.
  4. It almost felt like the dynamics of an abusive relationship when Tamra was love-bombing her at the party.
  5. I’m sorry but nothing about Gina’s boyfriend screams “real estate agent” to me. Doesn’t he have a legit job doing something else?? In this land of grifters and bidnessmen I always thought that was one of his best qualities.
  6. I appreciated the way the closed captioning folks shaded Heather by putting "breakfastses" in quotes when she incorrectly pluralized the term in one of her talking heads. She was breaking glass on a boat in the last episode and now she's using incorrect words? Is fancy Heather Dubrow finally drifting toward the median of Housewife behavior??
  7. Which actress does Ori’s mom look like??? This is driving me crazy! Please help me, kind people of the interwebs!
  8. You know, the more I think about this (why am I letting this show occupy space in my mind??), the more I think you're right. I probably wouldn't tell them together either. Well, first of all, in my own life, I probably wouldn't say anything at all -- especially if it was a rumor about a one-off kiss and not an ongoing thing. However, if we were all on a reality show together, I would probably call my brother just to give him a heads up and present it very neutrally, not weighing in re guilt or innocence. I'd present it in the sense of "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that this rumor is out there and Jen's planning on bringing it up on the show; I didn't want you to get blindsided." I feel confident that if Teresa and Luis had presented the information to Joe in this way, the Gorgas would not be pissed. However, it's clear that Luis and Teresa did not present this information neutrally to Joe. It was not a helpful heads up but rather a condemnation of Melissa. And unless they have evidence that she really did cheat (and if they did, we 100% would know by now because they would shout it from the rooftops), it's shitty to present an unsubstantiated rumor from the perspective of "Look what that bitch did to you!"
  9. Eh, language is a social construct and it has always been fluid (e.g. we don't still speak Elizabethan English), so that doesn't really bother me. So, perhaps we can agree to disagree about that, but hopefully we can all agree about one thing that is bothersome: unhinged, shirtless Luis!
  10. I don’t know if she did it or not. I said I would be frustrated and sad if I were Melissa. If my SIL heard a rumor like that about me and immediately assumed it was true, I would be hurt and sad. If she used the rumor as a reason to try to get my husband to leave me, I would be hurt and sad. If my niece then started calling up my husband and telling him he’s too good for me, I would be really freaking hurt and sad.
  11. Well, yeah, I wouldn't say that I was ever actively stanning for Eddie, but he seemed relatively normal and reasonable -- and, you know, not Satan -- which puts him in the top 1% of men across all franchises. The cancer thing was news to me too! And, as far as I knew, Tamra and Simon were still at odds.
  12. Eddie has always been one of my favorite HW husbands. Granted, the bar there is really low… but I do like that he doesn’t tend to entwine himself in the women’s drama. And the shots of him casually eating food while chaos erupts around him have always been epic. But then he has to go hump a chair. Ew.
  13. I still think it’s possible that Heather is completely self-aware and is just playing a role. Either way, I think she makes a solid HW (if not always a likable person).
  14. She reminds me of an amalgam of prior housewives but I can’t put my finger on which… maybe Braunwyn, Tamra, and Taylor? Seriously, if you asked AI to generate a photo of a Real Housewife, this is who would pop up. EDIT: typo
  15. I don't get the sense that Melissa is upset about the allegation itself. She seems upset because she believes Teresa and Jen (and to a lesser extent poor, dunderheaded Danielle) used the allegation to orchestrate a takedown of her in the finale. Do I think Teresa masterminded that takedown? No. Mainly because I don't think Teresa has the capacity to be a mastermind. I don't think she can define or spell "mastermind." Is it possible Teresa knew what Jen would do and just washed her hands of it, not giving Melissa a heads up? Absolutely. That said, I think Melissa still has reason to be pissed! Based on what we know -- facts not in contention -- Teresa heard this rumor about Melissa. She and Luis then call over Joe Gorga, by himself, to tell him about the rumor. They could have called over Melissa and Joe together and said, "Hey, this rumor is out there, just so you know, if you want to get ahead of it." I absolutely believe that the purpose and tenor of that meeting was anti-Melissa. Then, Gia calls up JoeGo and starts telling him that he can do better? I am not a Melissa Gorga fan or apologist. But I would be frustrated and sad if I were her too.
  16. Yes, in the scene in Teresa and Luis's kitchen, when he's talking to Dolores and Jen, Luis flat out says he hired a PI to look into all members of the cast. So, I don't know if he called Marge's son or contacted Jayden's birth mother, but the fact that he hired a PI is not in contention.
  17. Look, regardless of where we stand politically, I feel like this is something all of America can get behind.
  18. Ordinarily I don't like to talk about people's appearance, but it seems like she did this to herself voluntarily so I will just say... it was difficult to look at Jennifer's face during that dinner with Bill. Pre-scalpel, I always thought she was naturally very cute/pretty. Sigh.
  19. I (begrudgingly) really liked that scene too. And this defies all logic! After so many seasons of viewing RHW I am pretty jaded about try-hard new cast members and their packaged, cutesy kids and yet... I found that scene cute and appealing! I'm like Delores Catania melting under the spell of a new man! Sue me!
  20. Hmm... I'm torn on this issue. In my world, right, I would never expect the relatives of a spouse-in-law to be invited to a wedding. And it would be completely absurd if someone got butthurt that they were left out. But, I'm not Italian and I don't know what's the norm in their culture. It does sound like, from what Joe Gorga said, that spouse's close relatives have been invited to weddings in that family in the past. So, I don't know. Then there's the fact that Ramona Singer and brunette-with-fertility-issues-who-has-only-met-Teresa-once were invited. And I feel like that could go either way. On one hand, to include them and to exclude family members who might traditionally be invited seems like a snub. On the other hand, it's a "Bravo Wedding" and they are "Bravo people," so their inclusion makes more sense. Am I overthinking this ridiculous reality show? Yes. If I had to guess, though, I'd say it's a little of column A and column B. I.e. Teresa probably knew it would be an expectation to invite Melissa's family but didn't do it deliberately. AND Melissa and Joe are grasping for storylines and are on the hunt for sources of outrage.
  21. Yes! Thank you! I've been saying this for years! I think when it comes to the RHW universe, we're always tempted to choose a "camp" (partly because that's the way the show itself is structured with the two Reunion couches, etc.). But, they're all terrible. Are Melissa and Joe grasping wannabes who DGAF about Tre as they sank their claws into her coattails? Yep! Is Tre also awful in innumerable other ways, does she refuse to let anything go, is she a literal criminal, does she fail to take accountability for anything, and would she blame Melissa for the sun setting in the west? Yupperoo also! Does Louie resemble a sunburnt swordfish with anger management issues? Maybe not relevant to this particular conversation, but yes again!
  22. I see what you're saying, and far be it from me to defend any of these awful people, but I think Margaret was saying it was hypocritical because Jennifer seemingly had forgiven and remained married to her cheater husband. If she didn't seem to be overtly judging the guy who had cheated on her, why judge Margaret for doing the same act? (So I guess it's not technically "hypocrisy," since Jennifer is not judging someone for something that she did -- but more like...inconsistency?)
  23. Ugh, I'm really not here for Teresa vs. The Gorgas: Part 50 I have no idea where we are in terms of tally marks for who is to blame for what happened to this family. I'm guessing the rift is more Teresa's fault because she's pretty awful, but they're kind of awful too so I don't really care. I'm hoping this season closes the book on this relationship so we can move on as a nation. I do feel bad for the cousins and I hope they can establish relationships with each other at some point, if that's what they want.
