S08.E01: Shaddy Beach
RamonaVanderpump replied to goofygirl's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I would hope Teresa would hold out for something better looking than the attorney lol. I didn't think much of that scene but I just checked and it does look like the lawyer. It wasn't as if they were embracing, just walking together lol. I think Teresa would have more respect for her girls' feelings than to start bringing someone new around while their father is in prison. -
Growing Up Supermodel - General Discussion

When I look at Arissa I see more Steven Seagal than Kelly LeBrock. I wonder if Arissa has a relationship with her crazy dad. The Shroder girls are nothing special and the oldest should never have pointed out that she is basically a twin of her father. Now that is all I see. I think Cairo has had a hard life with a mother who doesn't have a clue. Could care less about the Belgian kind or the son of Billie #2 on Days of Our Lives (who also dated George Clooney for awhile). I love Shanna and I am sure Atiana's drama with her absentee father will bring a lot. Hopefully we get a Travis Barker cameo. -

I am confused by Beverly Peele and would love to know her story. According to Wikipedia she had Cairo at 17 (which I imagine didn't help her career) and then she has all these other kids (including the latest) with no mention of a father for any of them. What does she do to support these kids? She mentioned needing a nanny so she must do something to afford one. I also would LOVE to know the circumstances of the Shroder divorce and break up. There seems to be a lot of tension there. At first I thought maybe Rick had an affair or a mid life crisis but after doing some digging I get the impression (with no proof) that Andrea may have been cheating. -
Thanks! In all honesty, this is what I had assumed Gianna's role had been from the time we first started seeing a lot of her. Abby had actually alluded to this a few times as well. This just makes it much worse how the moms acted toward Gianna last week. She gets less credit than the woman who cleans the studio bathrooms (who, let's face it, is probably a dance mom hoping to score points to get on the show). These moms are just the worst people. I didn't watch much last season so I don't know much about Cameron and her mother but they seem like sweet, quiet people. I hope that they run far away from this mess.

I'm not sure which choreographer you are talking about but if it is Erin Babbs from Murrietta Dance Project she will be on next week with Chloe competing on her team. I once thought very highly of her work until she pimped herself and her students out on this show and they all behaved with zero class. This is the studio produced one of my favorite SYTYCD winners (Melanie) and I would have expected a lot more. I fell off of watching DM the last couple of seasons but thought I would come back on for the Abby leaving drama. However, I am not interested in Chloe and Christie's old grudges against someone who is no longer relevant to their lives (how crazy that a camera crew just happened to be at their home when they decided spontaneously to go watch the team at Nationals). I have no desire to see another thirsty studio owner either. When this show started it was trashy enough but as a Dance Mom myself I saw a lot of reality in the beginning (oh yes, I know mothers AND teachers just like Abby and her gang of trash moms. Every studio there is the mom who thinks she is above everyone else (Holly), the thirsty moms who will trash the studio darling even if all the kids involved are hurt in the process, and of course the moms who use their money to ingratiate themselves to the teacher/owner (paying for parts in productions was not unheard of - "donations" to the company were a little kept secret). Anyway I am not sure how long I can hang this season lol.

I was also horrified at the way they all treated Gianna like she was nothing. If she is bitter and snarky it is from years of these women treating her like she is the designated shoe cleaner of the studio. Ridiculous. My guess is that the moms and production don't think Gianna is as much drama as someone like Abby or Lori Ann Gibson. I think is more likely to just not put up with the BS and shut it down rather than has it out which doesn't make for good TV and the moms (especially Holly) are trying to milk this show for it's last drop.

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion
RamonaVanderpump replied to Shermie's topic in Live With Kelly And Mark
I also will not be watching. I find Seacrest so boring. I would have preferred Jerry O'Connell and, frankly, they would have saved a lot of money if they had used him. -
When I watched the Most Explosive or Shocking Reunion Moments special that aired recently I actually thought Vee was a little homely that first season (on the couches talking about the gas mask incident). More in Jo's league than she is now. She definitely has changed a lot physically and it shows what a few years of maturity, a new hair color, and some good makeup technique can do. Speaking of which, I had long since forgotten about Chelsea's blonde mess of a hairstyle from way back. It looks like a bad wig. Thank goodness she didn't stick with that for long.

S13.E16: Who Is He (And What Is He to You)?
RamonaVanderpump replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Grey's Anatomy
That was Wally Langham. He has been on a a lot of TV shows including The Larry Sanders Show and Veronica's Closet. When I saw his name in the opening credits I assumed he was going to have a much bigger role than he did. However, he did basically ruin his career in an incident where he attacked a photographer (I think) and used gay slurs toward them. I am onboard with whoever said they are over the Japril feuding and don't mind seeing them together raising their daughter. This has been coming since April went on that date several episodes ago. I loved seeing Jackson get his own episode. Anytime I can look at JW for a whole episode I am totally in. My guess is that his father had a mental breakdown at some point from all of the pressure or he had serious drug issues. There is something about him (could just be Eric Roberts demeanor though). I think he took off and no one really ever heard from him again. Catherine and Jackson did seem to know he lived in Bozeman and where he worked so obviously they have been keeping track (private investigator maybe?). Jackson's father apparently did not even come around for his own father's funeral or else they would have seen each other more recently. I got the sense he really is all about himself and just does not care about Jackson so much. There are plenty of deadbeat Dads out there like that. They have no contact with their children for years and then the kid finds them and they act no different than if they saw a long lost high school acquaintance. I found nothing in the conversation Jackson's father was having with him that indicated any level of caring above what that sort of interaction would require. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. Will Jackson's father swoop into Grey/Sloane with a life threatening condition that only Catherine and Richard can cure? Will little Harriet require a transplant or bone marrow donation that can only come from the elder Avery? Stay tuned for the canned plot line to come. -
@calm81 During that whole scene before they left for camping when Larry and Mack were waiting for the rest to show up I thought it was mutual flirting frankly. Also, the talk about what a great wedding guest she was (then multiple showings of her catching the bouquet showing her underwear). The balloons decorated to look like breasts (which I thought was inappropriate for Bentley). The overall vibe of it. Even Jenn seemed uncomfortable at times.

What was that dress Mackenzie was wearing for the surprise party? That didn't seem at all appropriate for a cake party at a camping resort. I get the feeling she is always flirting with Larry and that makes me seriously uncomfortable. I've always liked Jen and Larry but I think that's because less of Larry is apparently more. I found him to be trying too hard in this special. I'm not sure if it is because he was trying to cover something (how did I miss this meth convo?) or make it seem like all was right with their family. Jen seems like a sweet person and Bentley is as always just adorable. The scene of him wrestling with Larry was so cute.

I am also on the train of sorrow for the demise of Planters Cheese Balls. I have tried the Walgreens brand and they are ok but don't compare to the Planters (at least in my faded memory). I really miss Jello Pudding Pops - I know you can make your own but it is not the same. Target was carrying a brand a few years ago and they were good but I haven't seen them there in awhile. Royal Dark and Sweet Chocolate Cooked Pudding - it made the best chocolate cream pie. Blueberries and Cream Lifesaver Lollipops - So good and I have looked high and low for these. Also the strawberry banana ones. Mini Atomic Fireballs in a box for 10 cents (or a quarter) - They still make mini ones but they are chewy, not hard. Also, they still make Lemonheads and Alexander the Grapes (along with some other candies) in those same boxes (I see them at Five Below) but not the mini Fireballs for some reason. Freezer Queen Cook In Pouch Meals - my husband used to love these when we were first married. He asks for them all of the time still but I don't think they make them anymore. Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Ice Cream - another thing my husband asks me about constantly! Also, Wavy Gravy and Rainforest Crunch. I have sent multiple requests to B & J's to bring them back. I believe they bourght PB Cookie Dough back and one point several years ago but it was not the same. Also, I think they brought Wavy Gravy back but I was never able to find it. I find all of the flavors they carry now to be way too sweet.

Crimes You'd Like To See On Dateline: Calling Keith Morrison!
RamonaVanderpump replied to cooksdelight's topic in Dateline
Not sure if anyone has seen this in the national media but it is a local case where I live. There are 6 more trials that are going to happen but the victims' father took a plea deal and the sister was just found guilty of assault and manslaughter. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2015/10/14/the-cult-like-church-whose-members-are-accused-of-fatally-beating-a-teen/ Also this one, another local case: http://www.projectcoldcase.org/2015/06/21/cold-case-spotlight-kimberly-simon/ And this one, very recent: http://www.uticaod.com/news/20160630/body-discovered-month-after-homicide-in-holland-patent-2-dogs-also-died
