  1. She can pitch it to him on the inevitable crossover episode.
  2. "'We're gonna just, only talk about sex'...like they're trying to convince me of how happy they are." Remind you of anyone, Whit? Also, I will support any political candidate who outlaws twerking in the great state of North Carolina.
  3. She reminds me of a 2 year old being cheered on by mom and dad while using the potty.
  4. I'm pretty sure that I read that Ashley is still with her boyfriend/daughter's father, that's he's completely involved and just doesn't want to be on the show. I don't have a receipt for that, but I hope it's true.
  5. Is there a good, snarky place to talk about I Am Jazz? I wouldn't be surprised if "I don't eat all day" means "I wake up at noon, drink 600+ calorie Starbucks drinks until 8:00, then binge eat junk food."
  6. I think they both look at least a bit like her, but he looks very much like the mother.
  7. Let me save y'all some time: none of the cuts in the video are longer than 20 seconds. Yeah, I think most people know adoption is a little more complicated and lengthy a process than adopting a fish from the pet store. It takes years of vetting, paperwork, and expenses even for stable, normal couples. Social services isn't going to just toss a baby to a super morbidly obese* reality star and her friend who happens to live in the same house. *I believe Whit is 5"1 and I'm guessing around 400 lbs. That means she has a BMI of 75.5. For reference, a healthy BMI is 19 - 24.9. Overweight is 25 - 29.9, obese is 30 - 34.9, morbidly obese is 35 - 39.9, and super morbidly obese is over 40.
  8. Smart guy. I wonder if there's a separate check for the baby, a la Teen Mom? I've been thinking a lot about what kind of home environment would produce Whitney and Hunter--a morbidly obese narcissist and a drug addict. I wonder if Glen has his own instability that we haven't yet seen on TV. Maybe he really hates conflict, which is why he acquiesces to his wife and kids so often, resulting in him switching jobs often for the same reason?
  9. Considering the amount of time Whitney spends in sports bras, you would think she would know how to pick a good one. I've noticed while watching the show that she only wears the stretchy, structureless, $10 at Walmart variety. You can see how badly they perform in the videos where she's jumping in and out of the rope ladder. TLDR I want to help Whitney find a good bra.
  10. Does anyone have a link to the pic of Kaiser in question?
  11. My opinion is that Corey and Leah aren't stupid, but that they and their families are in denial. They're ignoring Ali's inevitable deterioration (that I hope never happens because treatment is invented in time) as a defense mechanism because the pain of confronting that fact is too much to bear. But it's only going to get more painful the longer they put off confronting it.
  12. I think they're just enabling her. I've always been curious as to whether their enabling created her, or they caved to her demands for enabling. No matter what you think of Jiya, she owns her own business so almost certainly isn't lazy. Personally, I think if you agree to become the supporting character on a reality show filmed in your home, that sort of thing is up for discussion.
  13. Kail's face always looks swollen. Not fat, but like she's been crying for hours or just got stung by 1000s of bees. I want to put her on spironolactone.
  14. I wonder if it's more intimidation than disrespect.
  15. That's a good point. I wonder if another part of it is that gay men are popularly considered enthusiasts and arbiters of taste, so if a gay man "loves" you, you're granted some kind of worth in those areas?
  16. I'm 29 and I find the earrings unflattering and the back tattoos downright hideous. I bet Glenn would spill the beans if given the chance. One of us has to go undercover in Greensboro and earn his trust.
  17. I kind of doubt it. I don't think Leah is racist, just gormless. That's so interesting, because I feel like most of the people who talk about it here and on reddit are from the east coat. I bet it has to do with watching in earnest vs. hatewatching.
  18. I dunno, I think it has more to do with cultivating a good image of yourself on social media than their actual beliefs. We've never seen them going to church, praying, going to Bible study, or anything like that.
  19. There was something really uncomfortable making (a phrase I just invented) about a massively obese straight woman begging a gay man to tell her he loves her.
  20. I don't think they're that religious. I think it's just something they can use to defend their actions in this case.
  21. I'm not a pediatrician like Leah, but I think babies' feet stay like that for a little while. Same with their arms and legs--it takes about 3 months for them to get delightfully chubby.
  22. You're right. It just feels shitty to do nothing. [sad trombone] Someone get Dr. Tao on twitter!
  23. If I reply to Jeff's photo asking why Ali isn't in her chair, will I get blocked?
