  1. "All these candies; I can't find my pain medicine!" jebus h.
  2. Holy heck! I'd rather watch anything than watch people vomit. Is this purging or is she just eating to the point where she's overloaded? I think purging has to do with misguided weight management, which ain't happening here, but I could be wrong.
  3. If you can make it to Iowa, I've got a Total Gym in the basement. Knock yourself out. 😄
  4. Good evening, Pounders! My eating habit is 2 sugar free jellos and a bowl of my 'ramen' soup - a bag of Asian veg, some chicken, and 1/4 pack of ramen. I make my own broth so it's lower in sodium. I added a little Thai peanut sauce, 'cause we're ground 0 for corona here in Iowa, I can't go anywhere, so I might as well eat what I want.
  5. I must have missed something from awhile back - why do people keep referencing karaoke? I don't remember any of our boring obesees singing.
  6. This probably says way more about me than I should admit, but when he said his mother was an angel, I wanted to call my son and ask if he would tell people the same thing about me. Luckily for him, he's out of town at a conference (why? why? does no one see the news?), so I won't bother him. I think I have been pretty angelic towards him, tho. Just sayin'.
  7. I actually bought 1 episode and went back to check on the title before posting.
  8. Holy Moley - I never thought of toilet tissue being made in China. Thankfully, Wiki tells me that Scott (my TP of choice) is made in Chester, PA. Forget TP, here's Lola!
  9. Not 600 lbs, but there was a brief series about overweight little people - 'Big & Little.'
  10. It's not hoarded if you use it. Why should I shop every week/month for that stuff when walmart.com delivers it in a nice box?
  11. It's having it available without being at the whim of price changes or not being able to get out because of the weather. I buy paper products 6 months at a time and it's just me.
  12. OMLord! I didn't see that (too busy on the reddit coronavirus boards). That's the full commitment to eating, I tell you what.
  13. My uni sent out an email that it is going online next week. We've got several people in town who've tested positive and one critical in the uni hospital. Now that it's here, and I'm in such a close environment, I'm not going to church. Most of our brothers are doctors in the hospital or faculty. Either way, I see the possibility of a lot of contamination. Since I'm one of the health-compromised elders, I'm gonna keep myself at home and watch Netflix.
  14. Hello my people! Tonight's eating habit is homemade chili over rice, topped off with some Edy's coffee ice cream.
  15. Well, back to coronavirus news. See y'all next week.
  16. Shoot - I got involved in coronavirus discussion on reddit and missed why she didn't get the surgery. What was wrong? I thought Dr Now would let her slide on the weight; wasn't she pretty close to his goal?
  17. I swear, some of these obesees wouldn't be happy unless he did the surgery right there in the exam room.
  18. One meal a day. I started with intermittent fasting and got up to OMAD about a month ago. It's really helped with weight loss and my blood sugar. We aren't meant to be stuffing our faces all day - which they used to tell diabetics to do and is easy to do at a desk job. I'm retired now and wanted to give it a try. My doc is fine with it. I have a 'window' during which I eat, maybe a small something like a yogurt, glass of soy milk in the afternoon, dinner, and usually some keto something if I get hungry later because I stay up late. The more I do it, the less I seem to need anything before dinner. I'm 66.
  19. Maybe someone else has mentioned it, but what the heck kind of top does she have on? It's almost like a nursing top or something.
  20. I'm on a lot of cooking FB pages, and get emails/recipes from Pillsbury and Kraft. I swear, no one can make the darned recipe the way it's written. There's a guy w/a cooking w/Instant Pot FB page and he says straight up - don't come at me about the food if you changed the recipe.
  21. Wow. "What do you want to do?" "I don't know." Man, no plan for her life, no activity at home, flat affect, nothing. What a boring person. Most of these people come in saying they want to be around for their kids, they want to be active and live a normal life with their spouse, or get a boy/girl friend. Not our gorl.
  22. I had that done years ago. 1) the HR guy, reviewing my medical leave request, asked if my husband was OK with it; 2) I wanted to run down Market St with my top off, I was so pleased with the operation; and 3) they still look good and I don't need a bra, 20 odd years later. Best thing I ever did.
  23. I have one of those in my home office right now. I was thinking about throwing it out the other day, now that I have some real equipment.
  24. I got some stevia to try it out and couldn't stand it. I don't care if Splenda is going to rot my brain, that's what I'm using. So I tried to give away the almost full box o'stevia at work and no one would take it. I was surprised, because we had more than a few picky eaters, but apparently not that picky, or crazy. Take your pick.
