  1. Is this the right place? My eating habit was some kind of mac&cheese meal that I tested out. Not on de diet, but the nice bit of ham steak is, I think. Greetings to everyone tonight. I am biting the bullet (or the mac & cheese) and packing my house for sale so I can move to be closer to my son & grandchildren. I sound like an old lady. Unfortunately, said son does not live in Miami or Tempe, but in Wisconsin where the power has been out all day and there's a foot of spring snow on the ground. Yay, me!
  2. Thank goodness our long national nightmare is over. See y'all next week.
  3. I was going to ask a related question. I know he's made people show they could stand or walk before surgery. But, maybe it's like when he does the lymphedema (right one?) removal first, so the person can get in some activity? Maybe Abi was never going to get out of the bed or qualify for other surgery if he didn't lose weight first. Who knows?
  4. Wow - those are huge! I had something similar (but a lot less bulky) when I had gallbladder surgery last year. They cycle on and off and once I was in my room and more awake, I got them to take them off.
  5. Is the wife a brain surgeon doing emergency surgery and can't leave a patient? What kind of job won't let you off work for your husband's surgery?
  6. Fortunately, I've been Facebook chatting with my daughter-in-law during the show. Otherwise, I would have put my head in the oven.
  7. They're already there. They moved to be near his sister or something after a hurricane in Puerto Rico.
  8. Is that what it was? I only saw it for a second. I thought it was a birthmark. Who gets lips tattooed on their neck?
  9. She works and he does remote call center work by the sound of it. No reason for them to be on SNAP. And if they can't get a delivery, the grocery store sells rotisserie. Shoot, they'd be better off getting a few bags of salad and a stack of Stouffer's frozen than eating a bunch of garbage all the time. I just get tired of these people saying they have no choice when it comes to food.
  10. So you're too tired to cook, fine. get a meal delivery service. It's post-pandemic; you can get whatever the heck kinda diet plan you want, right to your door. Jeez.
  11. Man, it's hard to find the right show. My eating habit was a ham & cheese sandwich on homemade Italian bread (what keto?) and 3 mini cadbury's easter eggs, which are not on de diet, but I don't care.
  12. Well, folks, it's been real. I need a stiff diet Pepsi or something to top off the evening. See y'all next week.
  13. I'm surprised, too - mostly because she still seems to have difficulty getting out of the van and walking compared to people who come back to Dr Now with an almost 100 lb weight loss.
  14. OMLord! What was that on the mattress? Just take some of that yogurt money and get a new one. Disgusting.
  15. I think we got our messages crossed. While I'm sure Greenville, TN has some exciting dining establishments, I wondered what city Top Chef was in this year.
  16. "I'm there for you." Except for right now when you need me.
  17. Is there a big food scene in Greenville, TN?
  18. Darn - All I saw was '5.' I thought she only lost 5 pounds. She actually gained 5! Jeez louise. Try a little bit. Maybe go slow on the yogurts.
  19. What city are they in? I like the show, but don't watch much TV anymore and never know when it's on.
  20. I appreciate her looking clean and put together, but that pattern isn't doing her any favors.
  21. Anyone else get an ad for 'Ro'? I gather it provides some kind of OTC GLP-1 medicine like Ozempic. I did O for about 18 months for diabetes. Worked really well for that, and I lost weight. But I also got pancreatitis and wound up spending a few days in the hospital. I can't take any of those meds again without risking developing chronic pancreatitis, which you.do.not.want. I would still advise it for diabetics who're having a hard time with other meds (I've been diabetic >20 years and things aren't as easy as they once were), but not solely for weight loss, and especially not without a doctor knowing what you're up to and when problems present themselves.
  22. I'll see your chocolate bar and raise you a chocolate pudding cup.
  23. Shoot - I had to step away for a minute - what did Dr Now want her to delete?
  24. The nuns would have slapped her silly for lying like this. Greek yogurt and a salad. Give me a break.
