It's all on her. The ranch is blameless in all of this.
-
Shoot. Did anyone else get the 'grandma' commercial? I think my Grinch heart just grew - and I'm not happy. Not happy at all.
-
Holy heck, that's a food order!
-
I haven't either, but I'm in the Midwest and know that people put ranch on everything. I just looked at a list of foods and have to admit, "Yeah, I'd put ranch on that." put some ranch on it

Whoa! I was busy typing and didn't see that. I saw 2 plates, but both for her? Man.

He had WLS and is eating like that? I've been on those WLS boards. Lots of people saying, "I don't know what's happening, but I'm gaining weight." No kidding, if you eat like that.
-
Unless her staples/stitches came out, her WLS surgery didn't fail. She just couldn't stop eating.
-
Wow. Am I first tonight? How y'all are? My eating habit is a Caesar salad with turkey ham and 2 mini Hershey's nuggets.
-
Good night, y'all. I haven't seen this new show with Dr Proctor, so I guess I'll see what it's about. Everybody have a good week. Wear your mask.
-
OK. I just pay what they ask. Wait - I just looked. There is roadside assistance for $99 and they are having a black Friday sale for $49. The standard plan, which is probably what I have, is $64.95. How much do you think he ate in crap food over the past year?

They had food in the trailer??? When I relocated here, I moved non-perishables with my stuff because the university was paying for it and nothing's going to happen to Splenda, but they're transporting perishable food thru the Sahara?? Not just this couple, but I think a lot of the patients have poor decision-making skills that may contribute both to their weight and their economic status.

Fair enough. If you can't afford a decent vehicle, pay the $40 or whatever for AAA. You have so much more to lose than just the membership fee.
-
As heavy as these people are, why do they always travel cross country in the worst, most poorly-maintained, vehicles available? It's like they're begging for an accident.

Such differences everywhere. I was at our university dental school and everyone was masked up. You have to have masks on the public bus and the campus system. But, it seemed to be a toss up as to whether people had them on outside. Then, they sent me an email saying I should report if I got COVID symptoms w/n 2 days of my appointment. They ain't playing.

Apparently not. I just went back and looked at several brands sold by Walmart. I'd think the bigger concern would be the sodium. Plenty of that to go around, especially if you eat a whole bag!

There's a difference between a state mandate and local 'emergency measures.' I'm pretty sure they aren't mandated in my state. You can't have a rule more restrictive than the state, so localities get around it by declaring an emergency. A few weeks ago, the city announced our mask emergency would last until further notice. Being a college town, unlike a lot of towns in my rural state, we get a lot of new people coming in and out all the time for school, special medical care, etc. You never know what the barbarian standing next to you in the grocery has.

Actually, I just looked because I know people on keto/low carb eat them. They are 80 calories per serving, w/5 servings in the product I looked at. I bet he at the whole bag. 400 calories
-
I was just thinking that! My rural state is pretty open, but the area I live in still has mandatory masks in public places, public transport, and in the hospital/dental school where I go. It's weird to see people w/o masks.
-
Did he just say that the road only had fast food options? None of those places have a salad? A grilled chicken breast? A burger w/o the bun? Pleeze.

Oh! It's 'Animal' from the Muppets. I kept waiting for it to turn into a teenager or a squirrel. But now I'm confused - how did Animal get in their attic? Why is he there? Why is he playing drums? Doesn't he have a home?
-
Whoa. Isn't that close to what Sean weighed? Dis is not good situashun.
-
I know. It was a joke.
-
Nah. I think you're doing fine. Sounds like a good meal to me. 😄

I heard the football in high school and the call center thing, but missed that he was an electrician. Is he actually trained in that or that's what he wants to do?

I just ate and I want pancakes. Shoot. But I'm not going to make them. I guess that's what keeps me from winding up on the show. I have to admit, with a young teen son, I knew I wasn't going to bring another man into the house after his father died. I just hear too many bad stories about young men and stepfathers. The stepfather thing seems to work out better when a child is young. When they are teens, I don't know if it's teen hormones, or the stepfather trying to show dominance, but too often it's not a good situation. Best just for mom to be single for awhile.
