Thank you. I know it's Texas, but don't people wear regular clothes down there when they have business to attend to - such as going to a doctor's office in the big city?????
-
So how tall is this guy that 200 lbs is too high?
-
It looks like Dr Now just got his hair done. It's looking very dark.

It depends on the state. There are many opportunities for homeschooled kids to socialize with others. They don't have to be barbarians. Also, for those who go to church, there are church activities, Sunday school, etc. They aren't growing up in a cave.
-
The state requires a report each year showing the number of hours of class time, subjects covered, etc. Tho some schools have stopped requiring the SAT & ACT, good scores on those exams show that material was covered adequately. Many homeschoolers have life experiences such as going on year-long missions or traveling with parents, living overseas, etc. that colleges take into consideration.

You know these folks are big, but nothing shows how big they are as when they sit next to a normal, or semi-normal, sized person. Wow.

They showed 2 seconds. It would be difficult to tell the rigor from that snippet. Most people use some kind of commercial curriculum. Some curricula are offered by the state. There are also programs developed by religious organizations. I know a number of people who have home schooled over the years and taught homeschooled students as a professor in a grad program. Somehow they manage to learn to read and write. My son plans to homeschool his child and if I still have brain cells working, I'll probably do the teaching. In many communities, there are homeschool groups so the kids can get special enrichment classes, do sports, etc. In most cases, it's not what people think, tho I will agree that some political or fundamentalist groups do things differently.

I'm not getting the problems with praying before meals and homeschooling. Many, I'd dare say millions of people pray before they eat and probably hundreds of thousands homeschool. It's not weird and it's not cultish. I don't know if they have a 'compound' because of their religion, whether that is just word choice for the physical set up they have, or because they want to live together. People live in compounds all over the world. I'm pretty sure in a more rural time, many Americans had several houses and various family members living on the same acreage. We have various family members in separate living quarters on the same farm here in Iowa. It ain't weird.

😄 We laugh because it's funny. We laugh because it's true.

My son wants a compound. With both of them working from home, and food delivered, no one needs to go into town for anything. It could happen.

Hey folks! Well, the snow has come to my little corner of Iowa. I guess we couldn't avoid it forever. My eating habit was some small steak thing from Omaha steaks. And homemade brownies. Yeah, yeah, not on the diet.

Good night, folks. For those who are so inclined, Merry Christmas. I think we are going to see some massive infection numbers after the holiday. Stay safe.

What the eff does he have to get "situated" with other adults, with his mother? Why don't the adults say, "You're as big as a house. Please forget about us for now and take your hips to Houston and get the surgery."? They always find something to place between themselves and their goals so they will have something to blame. These people are all massive (haha) weaklings and cowards. He's happy with the weight loss and doesn't want to put in the real work both to move to Houston and to stay on the program.

I've debated the Foodi, but am happy with my Instant Pot and AF. My DIL has a Foodi and it is huge when you see it in person. I don't drink coffee, but my space is taken up with a Kitchen Aid stand mixer and a Vitamix. I had to ditch the bread box & toaster.

Done.

I agree. I don't like red velvet at all. Chocolate or carrot cake for me.

If I didn't already have a religion, I would make my air fryer my god. I'm on my 3rd one; this one has flat shelves, which are a game changer. I love that piece of metal.

Wait - is he cooking his own food? I've only seen Cheyenne cook. If he's lying to Dr Now, I will find him and hurt him.
-
Dr Now should just say "Two missed appointments with no weight readings from a local office and you're out of the program." Nip it. Nip it in the bud, Dr Now. Otherwise, these people will walk all over you.

Jeez. People in the workplace get 3 days for funeral leave. Maybe you take a week if you have the vacation time. As usual, these people are weak. They can't handle the slightest bit of stress or difficulty. No sympathy.

So his father died, the father was not in his life very much, but he needs another month before seeing Dr Now. Call me hardhearted, but why? He's not settling the estate, maybe cleaning out a house, etc. I bet he can't physically get to the funeral. Tough it out, dude, and get on a scale.

I watch Cash Jordan on YT. He's a real estate guy in NYC who started doing videos during the pandemic because he couldn't give in person apartment tours. He shows the neighborhoods as well as the apartments and people from all over the world watch, with most of them not living anywhere near NYC. He's a nice guy with a little family that he shows sometimes. Living in a Midwest college town, but having worked in NYC, I get jealous of all the shops and restaurants. We have our share, but the food diversity is nowhere like NYC. Take a look at his channel and search for the apartments in Brooklyn. I'll be honest, Brooklyn or Manhattan, some of those NYC apartments are a nightmare. And of course, there are some that are fantastic.

Why is he complaining? The show has been on for maybe 10 years now. You know Dr Now promotes a low carb diet. What the eff did you think you'd be eating? None of this should be a surprise to any of these patients anymore.

"I want to do whatever it takes." Except start eating better in NYC before you get to Houston.
