My grandmother was a practical nurse. She should have known enough not to let my mother get huge, but she did. My mother is 90 and I'm not going to ask her why Nana let her get so big, but I sure would like to know. I think it's criminal for parents to let their kids get so big. There was a girl baby who died as an infant. It seems that my grandparents spoiled my mother, since she was now their only girl. Still, how you could let a kid get to the size of 2 people, I don't know.

Hello my people! My eating habit is some avocado and a bowl of grass-fed ground beef w/beans and tomatoes. I couldn't figure out what else to eat.

I didn't eat meat when I got my first one (I'm on my 3rd) and it was fine. You can try out a smaller one for <$70, but I think you'll like it so much, you should probably get a regular sized one for $80-110.

I had to go take my fresh-baked bread out. I made a loaf for my son 'cause that's the kind of mom I am. 😇 So when I left, she was walking, how does she know she didn't make the weight goal? Did she get close? And Dr Now is giving her 2 more months? Was the 'big deal' that COVID stopped her from doing anything? They're in Texas. I think COVID didn't stop anybody from doing anything down there, especially just walking around the block. (it's a joke. don't come for me) I walked around the strip mall at night when no one was there - what's her excuse?

One of the clinical trials I audited was having medical residents use cherry juice instead of sleep aids. I didn't see how it wound up, but I thought it was interesting. People should know that herbal and non-traditional remedies increasingly get approval for research studies, so at some point, we'll have real scientific evidence about how some of these things work.

I wonder if she needs a nutritionist to do a home visit. Sometimes these people are truly surprised when they learn the truth about what they're eating.

My mother was very large (I should ask how much she weighed at her biggest) and she sewed. I think it makes a difference on how you present yourself if you can make clothes that fit.

That's OK. I have a spare soap box over here if you need one. I'm retired. We're still mandatory mask everywhere until the end of May, even outside if you can't social distance. I mostly just go to the grocery, tho I have had my hair done twice. I'm still going to church via YT. If I had to go out in the world with the germy people, if I had to take the bus or subway, I might have different thoughts about the vaccine. I certainly understand why people get it, and many of the people I know, including my 90 yr old mother, have had at least the 1st shot. I found a hospital charity in the UK that asks people to donate 25 pounds, the cost of the shot (which they get for free, as we do here) to them so they can purchase PPEs for healthcare workers in Africa because they won't be getting the vaccine for awhile yet and still need protection. I thought that was a great idea and donated the same amount in USD. I have the choice not to get the shot; I can at least help people who not only don't have that choice, but are still working hard during the pandemic.

So they had a rule you couldn't be pregnant in the shelter. Apparently, you had no where else to go but the shelter, but you thought it was a good idea to engage in sex, which can lead to pregnancy, so I've heard. No self discipline for any of these people. None. Hmm, I was too busy typing to hear what her addiction was - liquor? Drugs? Chicken?

The hospital clinic keeps trying to get me to get one, but I'm not ready yet. I audited clinical trials too long to be happy with the vaccine trials. I understand why they felt they had to rush it out, but I'm not going to get it now. Once it's out for a year, then maybe I'll take a look. I'm not anti-vaxx, I get a flu shot each year, but I don't need to be a guinea pig for Pfizer.
