I'm a week late on this but I find that this happens when my cable box resets and its settings are configured to narrate everything, like the "opposite" of closed captions, on ABC. Something similar would happen when certain sitcoms would default to Spanish language dialogue.

Breakfast Club interview with Logan, Antoinette and Ashley I loved this interview. I appreciated Logan's bravery to reveal what she did about her personal backstory. It's worth watching all the way through.

So, the new season started this past Monday. I like the banter and overall relationship that Ampika and Mark currently have with each other. Is it evil of me to squee at the discord between Dawn and Leanne? I doubt it will last long but just goes to show that Magali was not the source of the problems within the group, especially since Dawn's social graces were on display at Seema's fashion show. *sarcasm* Anyone know what's going on with Dawn's assault case?

So happy the Melbourne ladies are back. Susie's okay so far. Just about anything would've been better than Manuela.

Surprisingly RHOA gained viewers this week. A 500,000 viewer drop hasn't happened yet though it was pretty close between episodes two and three. That aside, S8 season has been pretty steady. Nene, who?

I still have to catch her appearance on Below Deck but I did catch her on David Tutera's show for her daughter's 16th birthday and, overprotective momness aside, I like her much better without Peter around. Felt the same way most of the time about Alex from RHONY, too.

Still not sure how the U.S. will take to the Cheshire ladies (they're not the most fashion forward but neither is the OC and it does pretty consistently and some may complain about accents) but I'm looking forward to this Saturday.

I'm so glad they changed the intro look. The only taglines I liked were Kandi's and Kim's.

Didn't Porsha's relationship already go belly up recently? Makes me wonder if she tried to hold on to him until her peach was close to being secured then broke it off? I had Luann's split with Jacques in mind...they filmed together and they broke up before the end of filming and she ended up with "friend" status.Eta: And...I'm late. So did I! I wish there were blogs like there are for the U.S. versions (Melbourne has one HW blog on the Arena site every episode). Tanya has joined Dawn and Leanne and tweeted that it was Magali who initiated the "attack" and claims to play victim. I'm not one to think Magali is blame-free (she's taken accountability for her part) but the whole videotaping thing gets a "hell no" from me. ITVBe better get it together this time around and give us a reunion. Since I heard this is another ten-episode season they need to be putting in work to make it happen right now.

Weird. The cast just gets bigger and bigger (the amount of cast members, not the physical size of the ladies, although...) Janet is tiny. Hopefully we'll be treated to Wolfie and Gamble's wedding next season.

The snippet of the RHOVancouver theme music this episode made me nostalgic for a moment. And then I thought of Jody. And Amanda. And just like Amanda I strongly doubt there is anything Leanne can do that will make me like her.

Dawn's tagline aside, overall they were an improvement from last season. Mama is ready. Love it. I felt like I was back in grade school for a brief moment when Snap's "(I've Got )The Power" was on the music charts. Both Magali and Tanya referenced it in different scenes. Dean was so oblivious to Magali wanting to go inside to avoid the awkwardness at Tanya's party. Men...LOL. Kudos to Ashley for not trying to be involved in the BS. Lauren can be an asshole at times but I still get a twisted kick out of her. I hope Sweetie makes an appearance this season.

Heh. I knew that Dawn vs. Magali wasn't over. I'm cautiously optimistic that this season will be better than the first.
