Earlier this year on Candiace's podcast, Askale explained that she grew closer to Candiace because they have a lot on common. She said they initially bonded over their shared experiences at Howard University and then the bond grew deeper as they continued to hangout, plus she's closer in age to Candiace than Robyn and their husbands have also become good friends.

Candiace knew what was happening the minute she mentioned Ashley's dms. Then she had the nerve to smirk when Candiace refused to continue the conversation. I hope both Chris and Candiace verbally destroy her at the reunion.

They both said that they message/dm each other's friends all time and they're both fine with it. From the way she responded to Ashley it seems that he already told her he invited Ashley to his restaurant. She didn't seem surprised. As for Gizelle you could tell she was genuinely hurt because per her words he saw Gizelle as a sister.

I'm so happy that Candiace did not give Ashley the reaction she wanted. So Chris made Gizelle feel uncomfortable at the reunion, but she can't tell Candiace what he said or did. Now I see why both Chris and Candiace have been lighting Gizelle up on Twitter and in interviews. This nonsense is exactly why fans were dragging Chris last year on his Instagram lives for being too friendly with people who don't like his wife.

Both of Candiace's parents were in the Air Force, she talks about it all of the time on her lives and her podcast. Her father and step-father are both MDs. Whether she's a LCSW or PHD, Dorothy is still a therapist. Both parents are getting retirement income from the military along with their work income. Her parents have a vacation house in the USVI ,so they're probably getting rental income. Candiace and her mom co-own Chateau Salon Suites in Georgia and are planning on opening other locations in Georgia and DC, so that's another stream of income since the braiders , stylists and other people working there have to rent suites from them. Candiace doesn't speak about it on the show, but Dorothy taught her how to invest in real estate by buying, flipping and selling houses, which is where most of Dorothy's money comes from.

According to him his mom, step-mom dad and his 7 or 8 (can't remember the exact number) other siblings. Only things he's said about his family is that his dad and step-mom raised him, his dad owned a company that he sold to one of Chris' brothers and that he didn't know that he came from a wealthy family until he was an adult. Oh and his dad refused to pay for culinary school because Chris originally scuffed at the idea of any type college/trade school when he graduated high school, so once he decided to go to Le Cordon Bleu once he was older, he was on his own. Other than that he doesn't say much about them unless he's talking about them loving Candiace more than they love him or them being mad that they weren't shown during the wedding.

I can't speak for Robyn's family, but Candiace's parents are both retired from the Air Force. According to Glassdoor the average salary for retired $97,000 a year. So their retirement coupled with her father's physician salary/Dorothy's income as a Psychologist they would have a decent amount of money. Plus Candiace and her mother invest in real estate and co-own Chateau Salon Suites in Georgia. So they're also getting rent from stylists who work there. Candiace also said on her podcast a few months ago that both her father and step-father opened savings accounts for her when she was younger and were putting money in it until she was old enough to work and add money to her accounts.

No, because the hosts never asked. They were more interested in getting the RHOP tea and inside scoop on the Bassett marriage. Chris said on his most recent live that Candiace gets along great with his family and has a wonderful relationship with his children. Candiace never mentions anything about his ex-wife or his first baby momma, but he has thrown jabs a few times at his ex-wife.

Candiace and Chris were on LION on FOX DC, (I went into greater detail in her thread). One of the hosts pointed out how Chris' schedule as a private chef/GM/ online cooking instructor, could put a strain on their marriage. Candiace said he's just very passionate about what he does and throws himself 100% into what he's doing. He's so passionate that sometimes he forgets everyone around him, but they've found middle ground. Every time Candiace looked at him or spoke about him you could see the pride and love radiating off of her. I wish Bravo would show this side of them more often.

I'm on my lunch break and being nosy. Most of Twitter thinks Ashley is using her "divorce" as a storyline because Nicki called her out during the season 6 reunion. Twitter also does not believe that Robyn and Juan will ever get married. And of course everyone is still making fun of Gizelle's fashion choices. Chris has decided that he will die on the hill of "we weren't having an argument, we were having a discussion, and the egg freezing journey has been great". He's also cursing out anyone who says anything negative about Candiace or their marriage. *You've been warned, proceed at your own risk.*

Judging from her podcast/ their lives. She's very loyal to him and she completely trusts him because their relationship was built on friendship and she sees him as her partner/best friend. Therefore she believes whatever he tells her because she doesn't think her husband would ever lie to her or even be unfaithful.

I agree, they're making a mountain out of a molehill. Which is why both Chris and Candiace are upset. Not only do they now have to defend their marriage, Candiace now has to protect her husband's reputation. I don't believe Ashley is leaving Micheal. I think this is a way to keep her on the show and keep Micheal off of our screens.

Chris said on Twitter that they only showed a small part of their 2 hour conversation. Candiace said on Twitter she understands that he's providing for his family. Her main worry is that his schedule will keep him away. He's said himself that he leaves home around 12pm to ensure that everything is going well at the rooftop restaurant before opening and gets home around 2-3am because of the clean up after closing. I don't think it's as fancy as it used to be based on some of the reviews, including some of the negative ones about him.

He's the General Manager of the Vue Rooftop in DC. Ashley needed to throw that dental floss dress away. I'm not even commenting on Mia at this point. He's the General Manger of the Vue Rooftop. He's always posting Instagram stories with Candiace's fans who went there to see if they could meet him. He seems to enjoy that aspect of his job.

Chris usually gets home from work around 2-3am , and she's usually up doing lives because she waiting to make sure he gets home safely. Her worry is that his work schedule would prevent him from being able to adequately spend time/bond with the baby.

I think she'll have at least one child with him. She said on Twitter that she understands he's providing for them, she's just worried about his work schedule keeping him away. Plus she's said she's basically sticking with him till death because she loves him and believes they could work through anything (including cheating), plus her stepchildren are involved and their emotional well-being is more important than her feelings.

I understand why Alexis was upset. Justin works from home, she goes into the office. She probably thought she was leaving her dog with a responsible adult. Not someone who didn't read the label on the medication.

Mitch's apartment looked like it hasn't been cleaned in 10 years. I can't believe that Justin tried to downplay his dog's aggressive behavior in the past and towards Alexis' dog. He sounds like one of those people who constantly make excuses for bad behavior. In some states his dog would be euthanized.

Quad is such a loving and supportive Mauntie. Marlo on RHOA can learn a few things from her. Heavenly was 100% wrong for talking about her "friends" on YouTube. If you consider someone your friend you don't publicly embarrass them. Then to sit there and cackle while her castmates were fuming, proves that she did not care about their feelings. Even though she was wrong, she didn't lie about Toya and Contessa. Toya is beyond lazy and Contessa's husband came across a verbally abusive.
