Candiace tried to stop Chris from going live last night, but he still did. He said he wasn't mad at Nicki, but mad at the line of questioning throughout the reunion. He said in previous lives that Candiace's comments about his drinking on camera were her low key telling him to put the drink down, so that the show doesn't make him look like an alcoholic. They need to have a serious discussion about him going after bloggers and fans all the time. Also her team should encourage her to hire a social media manager. As for Dorothy, Candiace needs to keep her away from all cameras.

Nicki did a much better job than Andy. I understand that Chris was upset because he felt like Nicki was trying to embarrass Candiace, but Candiace came through in the end. Candiace could've used this moment for PR if he didn't come up to her complaining about how angry he was. ETA: Based on Candiace's live, Chris was just being a protective husband. Based on how Bravo has edited Candiace's live performances in the past ( their wedding, Juan and Robyn's engagement party) , he was worried that Bravo would be shady again. Plus he knows Bravo would have enjoyed Candiace embarrassing herself.

I agree that most of them are not friends. Gil is her friend so I understand her being disgusted by Myrla and Johnny's behavior. Even though they're not friends I still understand her being hurt by Bao and Zach dating.

I give her credit for accepting responsibility for her actions. She could have done like Chris from last season and blamed her behavior on everyone else around her. I also think her giving Gil credit for holding her accountable is a sign of maturity.

She actually said that she's responsible for her actions. She revealed her diagnosis because she was told that her ADHD was the reason for her poor impulse control. She said in her comment to a fan that she did not like what she saw and she's working on controlling her behavior and improving her mental health.

She said in one of her posts that she and Gil are friends because he held her accountable during the whole process. She's also against all the partner swapping going on.

I agree. On another post she asked people to stop making light of the fact that Gil has a therapist and she once again shaded Myrla/Johnny, Bao/Zach by saying "some people have a moral compass" and people need to stop telling people to get together. She also said that a psychiatrist diagnosed her with ADHD and Anxiety.

I hope they remain friends.

I personally don't think she was being phony or manipulative in that moment. I saw it as her just being there for her friend. No one else even attempted to go check on him. I do hope she heals and matures

Michaela may not be ready to be someone's wife, but she comes across as a true friend. She was the only one to check on Gil and decided to leave with him. You can tell she was upset for him.

I understand why Chris is upset, this a grown man threatening his wife. However I agree with you. If both Chris and Candiace stop engaging with these fools, a lot of their channels would no longer exist.

Funky Dineva was cool with Candiace and Chris, before former cast member started using him to smear Candiace.

Why are Robyn, Candiace and Wendy the only people calling Mia out on her disgusting tweet? Thank you Candiace for NOT giving Mia the attention she was seeking. Dorothy is a horrible mother. As for Gizelle she should be ashamed of herself. Why would she give life to that rumor and then refuse to apologize. Chris laughing when Ashley was trying to defend Michael was what everyone on that stage needed to do. I'm so glad Chris called these women out on their nonsense, it's shocking how none of them had anything to say once he was done.

People are just dedicated to hating Candiace. Mia threatened her on television and everyone thinks it's cute and funny. Mia's cousin threatened to hit her on social media, but because it's Candiace they all laugh at it. Ashley points her fingers in people's faces but she's not labeled aggressive or ferocious, her two favorite words for Wendy and Candiace. Her husband has sexually assaulted multiple men, but somehow that's okay. If Chris Bassett did that everyone would be asking Bravo to fire Candiace. Mia broke a porcelain object during their argument, but Karen wasn't scared of that. But she's scared of itty-bitty Candiace who is 5'3 and 103 lbs (Candiace said her height and weight the other day). Karen called Gizelle every name in the book, but Candiace's mouth is the problem. Furthermore if you're in someone's home and they ask you to leave and you don't you're TRESPASSING! Therefore that butter knife that Ashley had to walk around the table to find, should have been the least of her worries. I do agree that Chris needs to do a better job having his wife's back in public. Every other husband has their wife's back in public, right or wrong, they'll defend them. Chris is out here screaming "pick me." I hope he got the point after fans dragged him in the comments section of his interview and on his lives.

This is getting out of hand. If Candiace is going to stay with the show then she needs to hire security. She should also file a complaint against Mia with NBC Universal. Bypass Andy and Bravo and go straight to the top.

It was really bad and still is. She's addressed her depression on her podcast and has alluded to it on social media. She hasn't been as open about it as other public figures, probably because of all the hate that she gets. Michael Rappaport should have been canceled the minute he called Kenya Moore a gorilla. Andy only cares about the money and nothing else.

Exactly! The only person who had friends posting for them was Monique. That same blog that was referenced on the show was one of many blogs that Monique befriended. In fact their smear campaign was so bad that she wanted to kill herself (her words). But I guess her being suicidal is okay, because she's such a horrible person 🙄. There are approximately 4 youtube bloggers who are pro Candiace, and that's because of the unwarranted hate that she gets. No one is telling Ashley that they hope all her babies die. No one is calling Gizelle a dog or any other type of animal. Gordon doesn't have to do an Instagram live telling Michael Rappaport to keep his wife's name out of his mouth (the first time he bad mouthed Candiace). Mia threatened Candiace in front of Andy and her coworkers, and no one bats an eye. No one is tagging Bravo and telling them to fire her. But Candiace sneezes and everyone wants to hang her. If Candiace told someone to "Watch their back because their ass kicking was long overdue" she would've been immediately fired. Andy would not have sat there smirking. As you said there is a clear double standard, which is why those of us who like her are always defending her.

Candiace did a great job on the Kelly Clarkson show today. She sang with a live band and killed her dance moves. She's not at the point where she can sing and dance at the same time, but I'm sure with enough practice she'll build enough stamina. I wonder what Andy has to say about auto tune now. ETA: Kelly interviewed Candiace before her performance. She gets her love of music from her dad. He used to play music for her while her mom was pregnant with her. And he was always playing music. He supported her releasing her first single and is very proud of her.

Out of all the women on the show Ashley is very good at using her proximity to whiteness as a weapon. She had no problems calling Wendy ferocious and aggressive and then turning her words around on Wendy. She and her husband called Candiace a criminal with a rap sheet ,even though Candiace has never been charged with anything. Karen is another one who lived up to her name. She wasn't afraid when light skinned 6 foot tall Mia threw half a bowl of lettuce at Candiace, but she was afraid when 5 foot tall 98 lbs Candiace threw 2 pieces of lettuce. Gizelle peaked in college. She acts like she's still hazing the new pledge into the sorority. You and Wendy may not be friends, but she could still ask how her daughter was doing out of common decency. I think her plan to use Candiace as a storyline next season will backfire. Because Candiace is already ignoring her on social media and Wendy is already gathering her evidence for next season.

My assessment of Candiace is that she's very trusting. So once Ashley agreed to move on she took Ashley's word for it. I think the hurt came from Ashley stating "And now we're even" after writing the statement. If you knew you wanted revenge then why would you agree to make up with her?

I'm paraphrasing Chris Bassett here, Candiace wears her emotions on her sleeves and everything is very black and white with her. Candiace apologized to Ashley and they agreed to move on. So in Candiace's mind if they're moving on, that means they're leaving the past in the past. She's not thinking that Ashley would be vindictive enough to use the past against her since they're moving on. So now she's hurt because she can't understand why she would write a statement against her, because they agreed they were moving on.

No wonder Mia and Karen are friends they both suffer from liabetes. Mia was the one who was attacking Wendy, Askale and Candiace on social media and continues to attack Candiace. No boss has that much time on their hands. They were friends for years before Wendy joined the show. There are pictures on both of their Instagrams of them hanging out at Wendy's baby shower and Candiace's birthday.
