Every word of that promo suggests bales of fun. i am guessing Hannah's " new young friend" is a student.

The Jinx: The Life And Deaths Of Robert Durst

It creeps me out. It seems to be the first person narration of a psychopath, and the groove suggests being a psychopath is badass and sexy. But then, it is not the only song out there like that. -

Oh, totally staged. Makes me wonder-- was Bob muttering to himself between takes like that all through the shoot? If so-- kudos to the set-up. -
Word. It's not shitty becasue they were supporting the new girl, it was shitty because they just took Hannah's entire social circle into a place they knew she would not be welcome. Boy, Adam sure has some loyal friends...

The Jinx: The Life And Deaths Of Robert Durst

Good grief, the last five minutes of the interview was seriously creepy. -
"I'll get out of here before I make it bad again..." If only she said that more often. And of course Hanna hates the cutest dress she's ever worn on this show.

Team " Kevin get your green card wedding already " and Team " Richie relegate Patrick's silly ass to the friend zone, you deserve better." Patrick deserves Augustin.

Yes to all that, but also funny as hell. Zosia Mamet is killing it this season.

I am fairly proficient in Spanish, and decided to practice by watching this episode on HBOLE today. The actor that dubs Durst absolutely fuckin' nails it. I highly encourage those who can to check it out-- the rhetorical resemblance is uncanny. -

Hm. To me, the dramatic tension doesn't come from "did he do it?"-- oh, he so obviously did-- but "Is he acting up a storm or has he talked himself into his own bullshit?" -
Meh. Jack Black was just there so they could have someone to articulate all the FISA speeches yesterday and talk back to them. (Note he made a crack about "tents"?) Other than that-- great opening! One of my friends last year wished aloud that the sorry mess that was last year's opening would have been so much better if it was like NPH's Tony opening that year. Apparently other people had the same thought.

I think my first big " This won't last long" moment was when Adam hesitated before letting her in his dressing room just before he went onstage. It was like he knew she was going to sabotage him, but didn't want to believe it.

Yeah, and for those who are frothing over Jessa, Dunham does a nice little bit of apologia for what might have ben going through her head. (Shallow moment-- Blonde hair really compliments Dunham's porcelain complexion. ) Weirdly, I wasn't as mad at Jessa for her abetting the "couple nights a week" thing, as I was that she pretended she told Hanna about it. The former might just be her version of being "pragmatic" (As Dunham put it), but the whole "I know I told you" thing was just a needless mind fucky evasion of responsibility. When Hanna tried to ask you what was going on with Adam, you shoved your ass into your laptop screen. Apologize or own it, but don't pretend it didn't happen.

Rewatching. I love the hell out of Ray's Jazz Brunch. The first time I heard those horns, I knew it was Ray. Out of all the guyz, Ray is probably the one I would crush hard on IRL. And every word out of Shosh's mouth was a shiny little diamond. I loved especially how she articulated each key stroke when she Googled Mimi-Rose.
