S11.E10: Shock And Roll
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I wouldn't say she didn't care at all. If you don't care at all, your instincts aren't to react shocked upon hearing the misfortune of someone else. If her feelings for Vicki truly desensitized her from Vicki's situation, I believe the more expected reaction would have been more nonchalant with a shrug and a 'that sucks'. It would have been far more cold - kind of like her blank looks each time Vicki was crying about Brooks' cancer. Meghan didn't buy it and she couldn't even muster an ounce of fake pleasantry to appease Vicki. Heather's insinuations were evident soon into the conversation and Meghan didn't miss a beat on picking up on it. THAT is what shifted her demeanor in the conversation. There's a reason why Heather didn't come out and ask Meghan if she would be okay to go to the hospital to check on Vicki and that was a manipulative move on Heather's part. Yeah, so in the very moment she got the news, there was some care there. In the moment that Heather began her insinuations, the guard went up and Meghan responded in kind to Heather's approached and also danced around the issue rather than call Heather on it on what she was trying to say. Edit: And as callous as it sounds, you do in fact reap what you sow. When you constantly make yourself the victim in a display of theatrics, people with less tolerance for BS are going to eventually stop giving you any benefit of the doubt. When your behaviour ostracizes you from others, the judgement shouldn't be on the person who makes the decision that their life is happier without that kind of behaviour in it. Vicki's issues with Meghan were that she didn't work and that she dared to feel like she loved her step children just as if they were own. Meghan doesn't like Vicki because she constantly cried about her boyfriends fake cancer, she criticized her intelligence, her ability as a mother and dared to judge her marriage when she's had failed marriages and dishonest relationships with men. The differences in their list of grievances is pretty stark. -

I'm confused with some of the expectations on Meghan to go to the ER to check on Vicki. On two occasions I had family members that were rushed to the hospital via ambulance. I went with them and yet when I arrived there, I was separated from them while the doctors handled their business. I sat in a waiting room for hours not knowing what was going on and I'm pretty damn sure had I not been family, I wouldn't have been told anything about their condition once the doctors had done their assessment. I doubt Meghan would have been given any information. I still hold that not rushing to the ER is not a horrible thing on Meghan's part (though I'm sure with the optics she'll still be judged negatively for it). Maybe it's because I'm not fake and I don't lack accountability like Vicki but if I were in the ER, I wouldn't want to be surrounded by anyone I don't get along with and make fake pleasantries with them. -

The Jillian screech came back in full force this episode but I'm not going to lie, her reaction after being told that they were doing the challenge wrong made me laugh out loud. I hope those two have GPS on their cars back at home because they suck at direction. It's not the most fair way to win but if you can't read the clue correctly, that's on you. I can understand why they would mix up the information at the first go around. But to read the clue a few more times and still be confused was a total disregard for the purpose of grammar, lol. -

I don't mind Meghan's initial decision not to go to the hospital. Her and Vicki aren't friends. Vicki has said some pretty nasty and judgmental things about Meghan and her marriage. Personally, I can't say if I would have dropped everything in that moment and visited Vicki knowing she was in the ER. I definitely would have visited if I found out that she required an extended stay and my visit would be courteous but that is all. It looks like Heather and Tamra may be jumping on their high horse to judge Meghan and Shannon (I assume) for not visiting Vicki in the hospital. It's not fair for them to ask someone with that kind of history with Vicki to go to the hospital to check up on her. If my friend took a tumble and had to be flown 3 hours away to a hospital - guess what? Trip is over and I'm going to Palm Springs to wait on her de-charge or diagnosis from the doctor. Not sure what to think of Briana's phone call. From Kelly's reaction, it seemed like Briana was being dismissive about her mom but it's possible that Briana brought up her health as an explanation that she wouldn't be able to make it to the hospital so far away. -

Scott never fails to make me laugh. He is the only genuinely enjoyable part of the show. The rest of the show you never know each week who is going to act bipolar and get upset about something. It's like a fake reality show that mirrors those family sitcom - someone messes up or behaves stupid but by the end of the episode, someone has an aha moment and shares their life lesson. How convenient. I'm impressed that Kourtney doesn't display her diets, or talk about her obsessions with workouts or anything similar but she clearly seems like the most healthy of the family. You could tell that Khloe was feeling it a bit as she was running and making conversations and Kourtney does it like it's nothing. That's my goal - can I please learn how to engage in cardio and not be so out of breath that I can't utter a word? I can't keep up with these girls bipolar behaviour toward Rob. First they're getting mad at people who 'enable' him. He's fat and lazy and apparently deserved his miserable life so how dare other people help him out. Now they're doing the exact same thing when they stalk him and try to 'fix' his relationship. I noticed that the difference in the way Kim spoke about Chyna versus how Khloe spoke about her. Khloe can only seem to compliment or approve of Chyna in some way that relates to Rob. Kim is talking about wanting both of them to be happy and Khloe is talking about feeling good about Chyna because of what she's been able to do for her brother. I just can't find the ultimate sincerity in Khloe's turnabout when I have yet to see her acknowledge Chyna as being her own person. You don't have to be friends with her to wish her well or say something kind about her. -
S08.E21: Reunion Part 1

Bethenny makes a very obvious insinuation about someone doing drugs and when asked to address it, she "doesn't want to ruin lives". Bethenny can step on her shoebox and judge other women for what they do in their bedrooms, no one needs to behave has deplorably as her to convince others that she's a nasty piece of work. If you're going to put other people on blast for what or who they're doing, don't try to act like a principled human being later on in an effort to 'not ruin lives' when the only reason that it's a topic of conversation is because of you in the first place. I got a kick out of Carole constantly saying 'excuse me' every time Luann told her to shut up...after the many times she tried to insert herself into the conversation that only involved Bethenny and Luann. Also, Luann didn't make up that information. I saw those headlines as well....unless Luann is the one that leaked that information to the press. I think Luann is running with the initial 'word on the street' and standing by it. I don't think her and Bethenny share any of the same inner circle that Luann would have inside information on that. It's funny how Bethenny has zero perspective. She's defending her relationship knowing the context of what her relationship is not as bad as it would appear on the surface (two married people dating each other who are not their spouse). Yet, it's easy for her to be considerate of her own experience yet wouldn't think twice to take hearsay and use that as a motive to slut shame and treat someone's bedroom activities as facts. Bethenny, nobody has to degrade your character. You do that all on your own. -
S11.E09: Woo Hoo Weekend
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I think Brianna and Vicki explained the move back to the OC related to Brianna's medical treatment and with Ryan being discharged they're just making the move back to the OC permanent. I'm sure there is perfectly good medical care in Oklahoma. It sounds like an explanation provided so that Brianna doesn't have to admit that she doesn't like Oklahoma because it probably isn't like the California living she's used to. Vicki's TH jab about Shannon and David's marriage - "I wish them well but renewing our vows didn't work for Don and I". Well probably because you both continued to cheat on each other. Just a thought Vicki. Being around Vicki and Kelly is not worth a free trip. Kelly, you batshit lunatic, you're concern with your integrity is not due to the way others portray you, it's due to the way you behave and give reason for others to question you. Call me heartless, I felt nothing for Kelly during her crocodile tears. Those tears are for herself, not for how her horrible behaviour makes others feel. -
WAGS LA: The OGs of E! Waggier Than the Rest?

Nicole is a sweet girl but I suffer from second hand embarrassment with how desperate she comes across in her relationship. How many times are we going to hear her complain about not getting a ring from Larry all the while she's holding his hand and sharing his bed? Her threats are useless because she feels too strongly for her to let him go for her own needs. If the relationship ends, I see him being the one to end it. Sasha's performance....that's some mighty performer's rust she had going on there. Not sure how much better she can be without the aid of studio magic, but kudos to her for getting up on a stage and being vulnerable enough to give completely to her music. She's beautiful and has big dreams for her music career. I think I would safely bet that Beyonce she is not nor will ever be. Olivia and Mercedes seem so awkward to me. I don't know what the timeline is of their relationship on this show but they don't seem like a real couple at all. If it's real, then I blame the optics on Olivia and her brick wall exterior. I wonder what she needs from a guy before she can truly embrace girlfriend status. -
Nick is such a sweet little boy. I hope Jac doesn't feel sorry for her son or ever express that type of fear or emotion in front of him. His autism isn't who he is and the worse thing for any child is to feel lesser than for being different rather than feeling special. It was nice to see the women get along so well for so long. Based on the previews, the drama may be returning soon enough.

Khloe, please shut up about Lamar and Rob. The other girls do this too but I'm calling out Khloe because she was seen on screen doing it last - I think it's so incredibly rude to be on your phone when you're out with a group of people. Emergencies are obviously an exception but other than that, you're just plain rude when you're spending time on your phone when there are other people there to talk with. That pilates machine looks like some sex contraption, haha. -
I didn't mind the Face Off task because it was a non-elimination leg. The sisters are the only duo left that I don't find anything annoying about them. They give it their all and their no quit attitude made this week's save well deserved, in my opinion. Kudos to Joel for carrying his team this week. They were scraping at the bottom and managed a second place finish. Should be interesting to see another u-turn show up. Hopefully Emmett and Joel's team don't get u-turned again so I can be spared the unnecessary whining over a game move.

S08.E20: Say It Ain't So
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Oh Luann... I respect her decision to work on her relationship and to continue forward with trying to make things work. It's not the path I would have taken in her shoes but it's not my relationship to worry about. What I am going to call Luann out on is how messy her and Tom were in trying to create a cover up about what went on that night that led to his stupidity that was witness and captured as a picture in time. I do share Ramona's sentiments that Luann is in love with the idea of being in love and she really is ready to settle down. She found a man that wanted to put a ring on her finger and maybe it's all genuine love there...maybe there are other motives involved on either of their parts - none of that matters because that's between them. HOWEVER, I do believe that Luann needed a story to give context to Tom's infidelity in a way that wouldn't make Luann look incredibly weak for staying with him. They messily tried to involve Dorinda and when that backfired, they put together their story that it was a fight between Tom and Luann that eventually led to Tom going out for drinks and getting drunk. If there really was a fight, I feel totally confident that that would have been information that Luann would have remembered and mentioned when she was talking out the sequence of events when trying to figure out if it had really happened that past Wednesday. I'm convinced it didn't happen but it was there for some context to give Tom a very tiny reprieve of a man being hurt by a fight that he had with the woman he loves which led to too much drinking and bad decisions. I also suspect that in their efforts to take as much attention off their scandal, Luann would now turn the story on Bethenny for being too involved in her relationship. Her natural instinct was to appreciate being told about it and even dismissed the questions about how and why Bethenny knew what she did. Luann said it didn't matter because Bethenny was telling her the truth. It only became a relevant question because days later, Luann needed a way to deflect from the heart of the issue. Luann was wrong for going after Bethenny for being the messenger and she was also being contradicting. You can't say that you would want to know about your partner cheating and when faced with the reality, you tell the messenger to mind their business. Actually Luann, that means that you don't want to know. Bethenny was being contradicting as well. You can't tell someone that they have no self-respect and you feel sorry for them because of the decision they've made and then say that you respect their decision. For the most part, I don't mind how Bethenny handled her conversations with Luann (minus her comments at the party) but I definitely found her over the top with the amount of consoling and drinking she needed to do in order to cope with telling her 'whorish non-friend' that her man is cheating on her. Bethenny is so incredibly hard shelled that for her to get that emotional made me feel that it was put on a bit. Oh and the shade Sonja was throwing didn't go unnoticed. Throughout the entire ordeal and everyone seemingly feeling for Luann's predicament, Sonja's words and calmness came across as internal gloating a bit. Oh and I live for the colour of Bethenny's jumpsuit at the party. I'm bias though because that colour works really well with my tanned skin tone so I'm immediately drawn to it, lol. -
After binge watching 3 seasons straight to catch up, I'm so boggled and disappointed by the fact that the exposure of these women on this show, in all of their unprofessional, shady and loud mouth glory, have been an asset to their careers. A normal person wouldn't want to touch any of them with a ten foot pole. They're all messy. They all blame each other for things that they are guilty of themselves. Golden constantly asking people if she can have her turn to speak when in reality she never shuts up. Golden is the type that just wants to argue with people. If you can't manage to offend her, she'll take it upon herself to be offended by something you said to random Joe in the corner and then throw shade at you for it. She's controlling. Constantly providing unsolicited advice gets tiring quick and her constant need to speak over someone just so she can communicate to someone else how that person is feeling, so beyond unnecessary. Paula and her husband are delusional. Paula has her system down pat. Get into an argument, avoid giving direct answers, back pedal, scream, shout and insult, run home and complain to husband and then start crying about how you're such an amazing and supportive friend (seems hard to believe when you've already gone on record to say that you don't know how to maintain relationships) and everyone else is against you for no reason. Not for no reason boo. Countess makes herself look foolish when she randomly decides to pop off after about things that she doesn't have the guts to say in the moment. She tries to act all big and bad about 'oh if I have a problem, I'll let you know', but she she's all talk. Countess doesn't address issues to give people the opportunity to fix the behaviour she finds offensive. She instead gets mad at people for not reading her mind and her feelings and not auto correcting themselves to please her. At least Golden will address everything to your face. Same with Lisa. Savannah - cannot stand her. I may have believed her sausage comment if she wasn't giggling the entire time and asking questions about the state of Paula and Forrests' marriage.
-
I literally just discovered this show and have been binge watching it, lol. I'm almost done season 2 but holy hell are these women all bitchy and catty. Lisa is really confrontational but she's the only one I like. Shar isn't an official cast member but she's really cool and seems like a genuine and loyal person. I'll dissect all of them once I'm caught up, lol.

S11.E08: Shannon Gets Her Groove Back
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Hey now, the housewives in Texas are practically obsessed with fart jokes and shit (literally) so perhaps we can't stereotype too much, haha. I enjoy a good party with great food and drinks but I'm a lot easier than these women. Give me a group of friends, some drinks, some snacks and a hockey or baseball game on the TV and that's my kind of party - the kind where you don't need to wear shoes and you can put your feet up on the couch, lol. -

It's hard to consider an apology honest when you feel the need to apologize after justifying your behaviour as a reaction that was provoked from other people. That's not an honest apology because it takes zero accountable for the choices you made in that situation. That only means that she's sorry it happened...until the next time it happens. I thought David's surprise was thoughtful. But in a true fashion of a man, he thought of the idea and then enlisted the help of a woman to get it done, haha. It's the most laughable thing to hear grown women who like to incite trouble turn around and blame jealousy on the reason for them being outcasted from an event rather than their own stupidity and shameful behaviour. Their entire lunch conversation was hilarious. Taking etiquette classes from Vicki...from VICKI!!! LMAO As stuffy and pretentious as Heather can be, she certainly doesn't owe Kelly an apology and I wouldn't judge her for taking offense to Kelly's audacity. Asking someone to leave after they've become loud and verbally abusive at a celebratory event does not require an apology. And you don't even need to look further than the previews to see exactly what I mentioned earlier - Kelly is always sorry...until the next time. Her and Vickie must be mixed with stupid...it's the only explanation I have for their audacious behaviour. Oh and, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I should have taken a shot every time she said it, lol. -
WAGS LA: The OGs of E! Waggier Than the Rest?
RHJunkie replied to Meredith Quill's topic in WAGS [V]
Why wouldn't Olivia just approach the whole situation by asking to see the text before talking to anyone? Why has Olivia said that she only dates athletes yet when she finally finds one all she can think about is how it's hard to trust an athlete because she was previously cheated on by one? And it seems strange to have a fight with your partner and after making up, not even a kiss? New girl was all excited about the potential drama of having Larry's ex around and brought it up to Nicole and to the table in hopes of something popping off. She claimed she doesn't like fakeness but when she got called out for her true intentions, she denied it wholeheartedly. What was that about fakeness? I thought Nicole handled it as best she could without throwing Larry under the bus while still trying not to lie for the sake of covering his ass. It's really telling what the 'wife' mentality is that you would quickly jump on the other woman that was once wronged by your man. You should care more about protected his character even if it means deflecting a negative image onto someone else simply for telling their truth? I think Nicole is going to have another argument on her hands when she gets home and tells Larry how things went down. -
Silly question - but why didn't they clarify who the kimoji was about instead of assume it was Kyle and then go off on Rob about it? And why still be angry after you admitted that he told you that it wasn't Kylie? Khloe is pretty shameless. Her younger sister has shown far more maturity than she ever has and instead of commending her for being calm about the situation, she makes little digs to suggest that that the image was of Kylie. Khloe was also incredibly annoying when she was talking about the ways she can control Lamar (aka, what she lives for apparently). Is she spending the money for him to attend th camp or is it his money? Doesn't it make sense to invest the money in something that he's interested in rather than ask him to show commitment in doing something that you selected for him? A lot of people actually have gluten and lactose intolerances but the symptoms can vary. Obviously people with extreme or uncomfortable symptoms would eliminate those ingredients from their diet all together but most people eat them with minimal enough symptoms that they disregard them rather than think it may be due to the gluten or dairy in their food. With that said, why would Kourtney call it allergies at all? You don't need an excuse to eat healthy and cut out a good chunk of bad ingredients for your diet.

Please let this be the last episode that I hear the term 'lover' come out of Sonja's mouth. I'll have to start taking a shot each time I hear it so I can numb myself to her whining before the episode is done. Sonja stop playing victim. If you share a relationship with someone that no one else has come to know about, you haven't been seen together and you've never talked about him...it's because that relationship is was a reliable late night phone call. Sonja has yet to describe anything about their relationship that doesn't reek of side piece description. If you offered me the most luxurious, adventurous and exotic vacation ever, all expenses paid and told me that the stipulation was that you had to spend that vacation with Ramona, I would say 'no thank you' and go on my way. She has zero sense of adventure or willingness to try new things and submerge herself in culture or tradition. She likes to party, drink wine, go to spas and eat fancy dinners. Why do you ever need to leave a place like NYC if you're only going to do the exact same things that you do back at home? Ramona seems like the person who only cares that her room has a beautiful view...she has no desire or intention to make use of that view and really appreciate it. That said, nothing wrong with girlfriends splitting up to do different things. But don't lie about it. Based on the previews for next week's episode, Luann is taking out her anger on the messenger. Since we know they're still together, they're so many questions I have. Did Luann forgive him and make him promise to be monogamous? Is Luann being honest when she said that she doesn't like nor did she want an open marriage herself? Is she once again begrudgingly agreeing to a more open relationship with Tom and is more upset that he wasn't being discreet about it? It's obvious but still, so crazy that you have to point it out - what kind of idiot gets engaged and then cheats on his fiance in a hotel restaurant? It's already insulting that you're going to be unfaithful. It's a whole other level of insulting that you're not even going to bother to try and hide it.

S11.E07: Something's Fishy
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
As a woman that staunchly stands in support of women's rights and equality, I am very aware of the women that pretend to be about female empowerment but fall on a sword of double standards that only give way to many dismissing a greater cause because examples of individual stupidity. Vicki is a great example of this. You cannot advance on someone (regardless of their gender), get right in their face while insulting them or their family and then claim to feel threatened when that man stands by his opinion of you. David said nothing threatening to her. He insulted her character but that doesn't equate to threatening. He didn't tower over her and try to make himself appear physically dominant. He wasn't the one that was violating her personal space, it was the other way around. You do not get to provoke and then claim to be the victim just because your opponent didn't concede to you and let you berate them or their loved ones. I try hard not to be judgmental but Vicki is one of the few housewives who I see nothing redeeming to her as a person. I'm really glad that Tamra has thoroughly read through the Bible chapter on forgiveness. I really hope that the chapter on backbiting is next. Maybe she'll learn the dangers of gossiping. And also, just because you don't have a problem with Kelly doesn't mean that you should entertain her gossiping or speaking poorly of someone you consider a friend. You don't have to speak for Shannon but a good friend would shut the conversation down quickly and move on to something else. Kelly - if you have to tell people you're educated because your actions and communication suggests otherwise, then you probably aren't as smart as you think. Going to school doesn't automatically make you an intelligent person, just like not going to school doesn't automatically mean that you aren't intelligent. It's also rich to listen to act above the kind of comments that were made agains her when she's on record making racist comments and casually calls people the C word when she's upset. In Kelly's world, if your friend pisses her off, you get yelled at for being a c*nt. What a hypocrite. Heather - in a room full of losers, you were the only winner after that speech before exiting the room. -
Is anyone surprised that the show quickly came to an end? Cait proved to be stubbornly archaic on matters that affect her own community - which no doubt is largely impacted by her money and fame which allows her to hide from the realities of the LGBT community. The biggest challenge to the community is the political barriers in place that allow people to freely discriminate. I would wager that most casual viewers of the show probably have political interests that align with human rights issues in favour of the LGBT community in contrast to the protagonist that considers a potentially strong economy to be a greater priority than the quality of life and freedoms that those within that economy get to enjoy. See ya Cait, not going to miss you. I will miss the other women though. They were refreshing and were the only reason I continued to watch the show.

Kaylen is the worse kind of girl I could be around. She's the type that flies off the handle saying whatever she wants but she has standards for how others need to treat her. I'm really sick of Kaylen speaking to Gio. Just shut up already. I totally get why the others don't like Gio but why is everyone pretending that Kaylen hasn't intentionally provoked Gio in the past? Doesn't excuse his reactions and it certainly isn't always the case but simply not liking Gio isn't a reason to address the issue with inaccuracies to make it seem like he is the one that keeps resurfacing strains in their relationship all the time. I know they need a villain but Gio does a good job on his own. The host doesn't need to twist things to make it seem like Kaylen is a little lamb that's has been a victim of Gio. She's said plenty of abusive things herself. I wonder if these people only say stupid things for the sake of creating drama for the viewers. Why would you pick someone you know isn't your perfect match. If you're so damn confident in your relationship, why does the person you like saying someone else's name for the pure sake of game play pose such a threat to you? I'd love to see a season where they didn't get all 10...wonder if they got help or if the cereal actually helped them. The host is so full of shit...is he contractually obligated to say things like 'played the best game I've ever seen, you all played with your hearts?'...despite the fact that several times in the last two weeks several people mentioned going with strategy for the house? Can't wait to see if anyone survived their relationships. -
S07.E05: Dinner Interrupted
RHJunkie replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Teresa is her own barrel of lies and inconsistent behaviour yet I give her credit in this episode. Her interactions with her nieces and nephews was nice to see. I feel in the past, Melissa and Joe have come across more affectionate with her children than she has with theirs so it was nice to see her hug, kiss, congratulate and involve her daughter in supporting her cousins. Though Milania has the personality that would soak up the attention of modelling in the show, she also seemed to be a good sport being the cheerleaders instead of the quarterback. I don't say it often but I totally back Teresa's handling of the situation with Jac. It's clear that Jac was trying to illicit a particular type of response from Teresa and she was throwing things back in Teresa's face and twisting Teresa's words to justify the comments that were below the belt. It's no secret that Teresa went to jail, but you don't host someone at your home and then make comments about their legal and financial matters and even worse, comment on their time in prison. When Jacq brought up the tabloid things again, Teresa was only trying to get across that she didn't understand or appreciate that Jac came across as pushy and nosy. Going back to the flashback, it was clear that Jac was upset that she wasn't getting what she thought to be the truth from Teresa but she also wouldn't allow the subject to be left alone though it was something personal that she was asking about. It does't matter if Teresa gave 100 interviews about going to jail back then, it doesn't mean that Jac is entitled to have some in depth, detailed conversation with Teresa about it. Teresa wasn't trying to insinuate that Jac's financial issues were on the same level. She was only trying to point out that she didn't push Jac about talking about her personal issues even though she had heard about them. Also, Jac accused of her of blaming other people for what happened to her but cited comments that were supposedly made 5 years ago. Jac is honestly crazy - every rebuttal she had in that argument and her explanation to Chris afterward was an example of her reacting to what she THOUGHT she heard. Teresa mentioned her 'true friends knowing' in response to Jac's behaviour in constantly pushing her for answers and not being satisfied with what Teresa was telling her. Teresa basically told her that her true friends believed her and therefore knew exactly what was going on (insinuating that the reality was exactly as Teresa had explained it). Jac did something that I didn't think was possible - she made Teresa seem like the intelligent one in a room. Felt bad for Joe and Chris - they got along as if no time had passed. Joe in the car made me laugh though. On one hand, I totally see how Siggy would be an overbearing mother. She can't get a full thought out before she interrupts you but I did feel for her when her children compared her to living with their dad. Of course that's going to sting and while I think 13 is still a selfish age, her son looks old enough to realize the different realities of parenting that his mother and father face. She is their primary care taker who is overseeing the most important stage of their adolescence. It's a shame that they aren't able to see that she is left with the responsibility of providing them for food, clothes and shelter 5 days a week, overseeing their school, implementing good manners, principles and work ethic. She has to take care of them when they're sick, handle doctor and dentist appointments - she gets the hardest part of being a parent and it's sad that neither of her children realize that she shows her love in that way because she simply doesn't have the time to be the 'fun' parent. She's the responsible parent that is the reason that they are well adjusted, healthy children.
