  1. We don't do oral antibiotics unless there are signs of sickness, only creams. My husband and kids are allergic to all sulfas, penicillins, clarithromycin, Cipro, and zithromax. They're always a last resort.
  2. It's the little things like that that get me stressed. I can find my way around any foreign transportation system, but trying to figure out foreign grocery store aisles and washing machines...My husband still makes fun of me for drinking Squash (a British drink) straight for my first 2 weeks. I didn't know you were meant to water it down. I kept wondering how everyone was able to throw it back without gagging. Meanwhile, they were all impressed that I wasn't gagging.
  3. We run a cat rescue and get bitten and scratched every day. We usually just use antiseptic and iodine. Because of our status we have quite a bit of medical supplies on hand and after almost a decade of hundreds of cats we've become pretty good at being able to tell which ones need attention and which ones we can watch. However, 4 years ago cat scratch fever almost killed my husband. The scratch was fine for about 10 days, it was even fading and had no swelling, and then it just suddenly exploded and turned bad. He had to get surgery and still has a hole in his leg. Bartonella is no joke.
  4. My first European meltdown was trying to buy laundry detergent and fabric softener in Croatia. Of course, I didn't have a smart phone with Google and Google Translate at my disposal...
  5. I'm no fan of Yara, but NonJovi has a face that makes me irrationally ragey.
  6. Oh, and that the young people they saw sounded nothing like Julia or Brandon. I think we're being fucked with. (Although I'm still no fan of Family Brandon).
  7. I just learned that the farm next to me just purchased pigs and chickens from Hummingbird Acres in Dinwiddie...aka Vom Brandonhaus. That's as much as I know, though, other than the fact that their so-called "farm" is 2 miles from the interstate.
  8. It's low AF for Brandon not to give up his nice bedroom to Julia. We'd never give the guest the unorganized cluttered room.
  9. Honestly? Whitney "swimming" in a lake doesn't even make the top 5 on the list of the nastiest things she did in this episode.
  10. So she admits that that she can do No BS Active from anywhere, yet refused to even consider moving to Wilmington with her "fiance". Sure, Jan. 😘 And the barnacles accusing RYAN of riding her coattails? Pots, meet kettle.
  11. These people are terrible. The passive and condescending way she's treating Brittany and Ryan is awful.
  12. I don't think she has any in Greensboro, either.
  13. This would've been great had it been longer. I feel dissatisfied.
  14. Not only do I think the whole Lenny thing was production driven, but I thought he came across as kind of smarmy. He made me uncomfortable. Weirder yet, Whitney seemed a little "off" in those scenes as well. I was never a Lenny fan (dude hardly ever said a word so I never got to know him), but I don't remember him being so...creepy.
  15. I hated how much sense Buddy made throughout this episode. (Not that I thought he made a lot of sense, just more than usual.) Pole probably has a remedy for this...
  16. Still treating Julia like she's the new foreign exchange student.
  17. I'm gonna come as Dinyell's stalking sidekick, Big Red.
  18. My son just took over the TV so I have no idea who you're talking about, but I still agree regardless.
  19. It doesn't bode well for the American when I'm rooting for the materialistic, moody foreigner. (Looking at YOU NotBon Jovi and Brandon).
