I have questions, too, but mine are because I am just too damn nosey. ☺ I didn't grow up on a street, just a holler. I guess Tatum Cave isn't a bad porn/stripper name, though. (Though "cave" is kind of pushing it.) I have been trying to hold off on watching the preview of tomorrow night's episode but, as I said, I am too damn nosey. I have zero patience, too.

We aren't all stupid Americans who do this. Evelyn was barely out of childhood in this season. This isn't exclusive to Americans, either. I have lived all over the world and have found many people who think this about their countries. May we introduce you to this season's Mursel and the incomparable Turkey...

Michael and Juliana: She's Not! a Prostitute
mamadrama replied to Drogo's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)
I assumed that they were being watched by a friend/family member/babysitter who simply didn't want to sign the disclosure and appear on camera. -
Paul & Karine: These Condoms Ain't For Sexin'
mamadrama replied to Drogo's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)
Yeah, the whole thing just sounded like a passive aggressive post meant to make people have sympathy for him. I will therefore take #helmetgate with a pinch of salt. -
We don't have rideshairs or taxis where I live but on a recent trip to Nashville I did a poll on all my Uber drivers. Out of 14, only 6 are making more than $30,000 a year-and they work at least 9 hours a day. They all said that gas, car maitenance, cleaning, etc eat into profits. There is a ton of competition in Nashville, too, so that doesn't help.

I have zero problems with strippers, porn stars, or hookers. I don't dream of my daughter being the next Jenna Jameson, but I wouldn't love her or respect her less if she did. Granny sexing it up andgetting her kicks for cash doesn't offend me; Granny demanding to know private crap about a person's birth control did. She was rude and nosey, but NAny was a bitch before they even met so it kind of evened out for me.

Anna and Mursel: The Birds and the Bees
mamadrama replied to Drogo's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)
I find it hard to believe that she spent X number of weeks in Turkey, presumably meeting family and friends, and was able to hide her kids' existence and was able to barely communicte with him. Even if the no kids storyline is fake, what mother goes on TV and pretends her kids are unwanted? -
Jesse is such a famewhore that he is now seeking out other cast members for photo ops in a bid to stay relevant.

A lot of this does come down to coding. Take SIDS, for instance. 10 years ago various places started adopting SUID (sudden, unexpected, infant death). Even though it is the exact same thing as SIDS (which, on its own is not an illness but rather a cause of death by exclusion). For anlytical purposes, SIDS and SUID are not counted in the same stats. That wouldn't really matter except that it gives a skewed sense of stats. It makes it appear that SIDS cases have gone down in some places when they haven't-that place is just using SUID s a reporting method instead. Same number of babies are dead, but they are coded in different way. My 2-month old son died of SIDS in 2010. I have since learned more about this stuff than I wanted.

Michael and Juliana: She's Not! a Prostitute
mamadrama replied to Drogo's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)
Juliana and Michael are married, his ex wife was their officiant and married them herself. She has been online bragging about how awesome it is to "co parent" with Julianna. My guess is that once she got her visa and they had to drop the hooker plot there wasn't anything else interesting to say so they are making things up. My husband's name is Peter. His sister is Wendy. They were adults before their own parents saw the PETER PAN connection. Maxwell and Ceecee were characters on THE NANNY, but that could be a complete fluke. -
Yes,I realize that Roseanne and the Connors was still Hollywoodized and not reflective of true working class homes, but in a pinch can you guys think of another from that era that even tried to do it? When providing an example, it's the closest I could get.

WHY, Sharp Entertainment, why? Don't we already support you enough with this dumpster fire and the multitude of lines of 90DF? What did we ever do to you to deserve such eye horror? -

Cheryl is being a dick about the "castle." No matter how you feel about the venue, you keep that shit to the privacy of your vehicle or house-you don't make the employees feel uncomfortable about it. Same with Nanny on 90DF-she might not like thrift stores but that doesn't mean that she has to be rude to the store workers. -

Been waiting 2 years for Daniel to come home...Bitch, he was in prison, not Afghanistan. Rhetorical question: WHY do these idiots always think that their recently released loves can afford fairy tale weddings and diamonds? This is NOT "Crazy Rich Convicts -

Damn, the bar has been set so low for these people that I am starting to find Chon kinda hot. -
His acting gives me secondhand embarassment. It is sooo bad.

I have been all over the world with a daypack and have never been robbed. But then again, I don't carry jewelry that costs more than my car in there, nor do I leave it unattended in public places.

Can confirm that one of the bedrooms used early on was the couple's actual bedroom because I have seen said room in person. (Nothing freaky or exciting to report there.) I don't know about the others but I could see production offering either a set or help in decorating. Can also confirm that PT episodes are filmed in advance and, for some couples, are filmed 2-3 episodes at a time.

Their real life personalities and living conditions are so much better than what the show depicted. I'm glad that PT is showing some of that.

The whole thing seems sketchy as hell.

Re: Michael's apartment They explained that he was packing to move and that they would only be there for a week. But why not take Julianna to a hotel for that week? That would have been a better use of the money than the Penismobile.
