Thanks. [Right in the ole feels, every time]

I don't know if Tina was as lousy as she was rusty and barely rehearsed. The jokes were turds and she knew it. Rudd kept saying they filmed some of the pre-tapes the day before and one as late as 5am that morning. If they're already in that close contact that late in the game, why not go ahead and do the show with no audience? As much as I liked seeing Tina and Hanks and Martin and Short, they probably should have bagged this one. Good for them for trying. I thought we might see the old-timey Hartman-Hooks pre-taped (fantasy?) one. I don't remember what it's called and can't find it on Youtube.

When they wrote the headline, they reported it as fact but they did not know. The story itself said only that she was in talks to do it. It's clickbait BS and it's a lie. If someone represents something to be true when they know it's merely a possibility, that is a falsehood, also known as a lie. Whether the event later occurs or not is immaterial. Websites do this all the time anymore. Jebus, I don't see how this is confusing. If this needs further explanation, go read about Schrodinger's Cat.

If I read that right, Keenan was the only one staying on. Unless they have a ton of clips in the can, I can't see how they can do a show. Maybe if Fallon drops by they can do a half hour of WU and call it a night. I also hate clickbait false headlines like that. Talks for her to host = true. Fey to sub = lie and speculation. It's the fackin NYP so no surprise I reckon.

Do I hear 90 minutes? 🤩 I recall trying to re-watch BSG a couple years ago and it wasn't the same knowing who was and who wasn't. Definitely worth another go. It was almost as awesome as the Expanse.
-
I hope that there is one parallel to GoT's final season. As GoT resolved the Night King storyline fairly early in its final season, I hope the Expanse resolves* the Marcos/Filip storyline early in this season so the show can move on to Ring/protomolecule-related themes like Laconia. *And by "resolves" I mean Marcos being killed slowly by Drummer . . .
-
That's the first I've heard that. Source? The show was compared to GoT in the beginning (GoT in space, etc.) and JRR Martin is a huge fan of the show and helped with the Save the Expanse movement, but afaik that's the extent of it.

The ole Tandy Tap. This show asks the question: how does a rebellious teenager rebel against his parents when his dad is the biggest rebel in the solar system?
-
Huh? It's usually ridicule for Trump with SNL, not humanization. He and his supporters aren't going away any time soon; thus he remains a target for satire. This was the worst ep of what's been an outstanding year. I haven't really missed Kate much either. I know I rail about the MG's, but Saweetie is the second least talented performer I've ever seen on there, after DJ Kahled. Count me out of the Staten Island bit. To me it seems like you have to be a New Yorker a New Yorker wannabe to care. How many time is Pete going back to that well? The exaltation of mediocrity is not art. Pete needs to get some sleep and sunshine. He looks like a corpse.

SNL used to be cutting edge with its MG's. Now they either have boring mainstream pop pulp like TS, or they have acts on years after they're relevant, e.g., the Ting Tings and Tame Impala. That said, I did like Young Thug. I see they have Billie Eilish doing double-duty in a couple weeks, so that's cool (and she was on in 2019, so good for SNL there). -
That would be a disappointment. One of the beautiful things about the end of Season Three was that they opened up the whole galaxy (or more?) for adventure.

Had to DuckDuckGo/IMDb Jonathan Majors. Interesting career, will keep an open mind. Anyone know when Kate is coming back? (She is coming back, right?) -
The Kim and Pete mini-saga continues. They're not saying one way or the other. It may just be a publicity stunt. If it isn't, then what the heck is it with Pete? He must be well above average romantically. Women are attracted to humor, but come on, is Pete Davidson that funny? Is he Kim Kardashian Funny?
-
Pete + Kim? [Spotted holding hands] 😍🤪🤩 They are probably just friends and the photo is from what appears to be a scary roller-coaster ride, if the expression on the face of the woman in front of them is any indication.

I thought Che might get flack for that one, but then I wondered maybe that joke was written by a Jewish person. What are the odds?

I loved this show. I'm surprised how good Malek is at comedy (and Daniel Craig, not so much, at least this time). Bowen got a lot of prime air time and ran with it. WU was one of the best ever, imho. I'm not a fan of over-using the character spots, but all three of these were great. The volley of jokes between Che and Colin was epic. Here's their run between Bowen and Chris's character pieces . . . Che: Netflix/Disney/Pornhub --> Colin: Superman/Riddler Fires/Trickle Down --> Sad Autumn Girls/Diva Xmas Manischewitz --> Brown Sugar This was only a little over two minutes airtime; these are all solid bits. Manishewitz was probably the weakest of the six with the Pornhub joke being the diva. I did not see that coming at all. [/my two cents]

Jumpin' Jahozefax, this is a ha-ha show. Some of you act like Kim Kardashian came to your house and kicked your dog. 🐴
-
I was pleasantly surprised, and kudos to Kardashian for her work to free the wrongfully convicted.
-
Sweet. Hope to see the BondJamesBond movie Saturday as well. I've been a fan of Malek's since The Pacific.
-
Then it would depend on whether they considered time as a helix of semi-precious stones, which would be utterly cromulent.
-
I'd like to see him stay but he's not a key player and never expected to be. No news on who's playing Dee Dee and Johnny? Anyone interested should check out End of the Century and/or American Hardcore.
-
It would be interesting to see Malek do comedy.

I'd like to see Steve Martin and Martin Short co-host with Selena Gomez as MG/cameo-er. The three have a show called "Only Murders in the Building" debuting in a couple weeks. First four shows apparently October 2, 9, 16, 23.
