  1. I just kind of assumed everyone knew, but if they don't that'll definitely be interesting when they find out. Though I have a feeling JR's constant "This show isn't about romance" will keep anyone from actually bringing it up or discussing it in any way.
  2. I go back and forth so often on whether or not Lexa dies. I'm not even sure whether I want it to happen or not. I don't think they'd have Clarke as the new Commander. It seems kind of wrong considering she barely knows anything about Grounders in the first place.
  3. This was my exact thought at that moment. They passed that pin back and forth so much last season it was slightly ridiculous, and even the writers realized it enough to bring it up and decided an election should be held. But the moment a hot iron to the arm is mentioned Abby's just like, "Oh no, you should be Chancellor, I insist." xD Everything you said about Bellamy is just so true, and so sad. His character is really quite tragic. Him and Raven, I tell you. I just want to hug them both.
  4. Well the writers write what's onscreen, so that's good enough for me (even if they do seem to be confused about their own world building a lot of the time) but to each his own. But saying a POC doesn't look enough of whatever ethnicity they may be so they're obviously playing a white person, is just wrong. You've no idea what the actor identifies as, or what he and the writers want his character to be since you need it confirmed onscreen.
  5. I agree, and I really hope the ones watching the other night were not just because of Shawn Mendes, or if they weren't, that they'll continue watching despite his cringe-worthy musical moment. But I feel positive when it comes to this season.
  6. So happy about the ratings! I really hope they can keep it up. If they can then there'll be no worries at all about renewal.
  7. I think those finale spoilers make it seem that it's Jasper who is dead and Lexa who is alive, mostly just because of their clothes. Jasper is clearly wearing modern clothes we've never seen him in before while Lexa is decked out in her grounder outfit. Also, Lexa seems to actually interact with Clarke unlike Jasper.
  8. A writer for the show (I believe it was Kim Shumway) confirmed that Bellamy and Octavia have different father's and have different ethnicities. I like Raven's character development; she's a girl whose alcoholic mother essentially abandoned her and, except for Finn's help, had to to take care of herself. She grew up thinking she always had to be tough, never show weakness, never ask for help, and now is slowly learning to do that. I agree about the Monty thing, hopefully this season he'll be getting more screen time. Lexa's definitely not my favorite and I don't particularly enjoy Clexa, but I felt that their kiss had quite a bit of build up throughout the second half of the season.
  9. I feel like the Grounders would make sense if they'd had more than just 100 years to become what they are. I just can't see what's left of civilization devolving so much in such a short period of time. But what do I know, I just try and take the show as it is because the rest of it is so entertaining.
  10. Do you think they'd kill off two of the adults though? For some reason that I cannot explain, I really don't feel like they'd kill Abby. I don't know why, maybe it's because she's Clarke's mother, but I guess that really doesn't mean much. No, not Monty! That would definitely be painful, but honestly I love everyone on this show so much (ok not Jasper) it would hurt no matter who they chose to kill off. I hope you're right about Murphy. He made that Jaha/City of Light storyline for me. I would've been bored to death watching just Jaha and his "disciples" wandering the desert. I'm excited to watch his character develop some more this season! And hopefully next season lol.
  11. I don't know. I just feel like wherever I go to discuss this show everyone's annoyed that this season is "the Grounder season". I'm just like...yeah, I hope so, because I have so many questions that need to be answered lol. I think most people are just worried that the show isn't going to be focused on the Arkers, I guess. But I just don't see how exploring the world of the Grounders means we'll get less of our MC's. Unless there's some awful writing, but I trust these writers, they've done nothing but get better as the show goes on. Omg, Jericho. I tried, and I just couldn't. YES! That's something that's always bothered me. I just try not to think about it because I'm afraid it's one of those questions that will never be answered.
  12. The Grounder world building interests me so much I'd be okay if we had to sacrifice Lexa to it. And honestly, it kind of feels like that's what her character is there for. Much like Finn was only there to push Clarke's story, Lexa seems to be there to help introduce us into the world of Grounders. But whether she dies or not, I feel like her story is going to be really awesome this season. I absolutely agree with you about which relationship I'd rather choose. Bellamy and Clarke's relationship has so much more depth and meaning to me than Clarke and Lexa. Clarke and Lexa I find incredibly intriguing, Clarke and Bellamy really have my heart with everything they've done and been through together.
  13. Just from the trailer alone I think this season is going to be amazing when it comes to world building! I know it's not the popular opinion, but I'm very excited about all the answers we'll be getting about the Grounders and their 12 clans.
  14. While I love Bellamy and Clarke, and I'm really enjoying the amazing development of their relationship (whether platonic or romantic) I'm also really excited to see what happens between Clarke and Lexa. The dynamic between them both is IMO really great. I love the idea of these two young, female leaders with completely differing ideologies and beliefs who both clash as well as learn from each other, whether it be good or bad. And when it comes to their romantic relationship, I may not ship it, but it still creates an extremely interesting situation, and I can't wait to see how it will all be resolved. I don't think there's going to be too much more in terms of romance, or at least not for a long time. Clarke has a great capacity for forgiveness, but I just can't see her going that far with Lexa again, or at least not until she's able to really heal and move on from everything that's happened so far.
  15. As I was rewatching X-Files (so excited for the reboot!) I came across Raymond Barry (President Wallace) in season 2, I believe, playing a senator who secretly helps Mulder in his quest for the truth. Trailer for Bob Morley's new movie Lost in the White City https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLZPshleGxk. It looks...strange lol.
