I think Lauren didn’t have difficulty wearing a bikini but didn’t want to be in a sexualized pose where people would be buying it which she felt might compromise her role & relationship as a nurse. As to the former Patriot cheerleader, I thought it was fishy from the start, perhaps a ploy to get a job with Patriots if they saw they might lose her to DCC. Anyways she had just bought a house with fiancé which they were fixing up in ? Boston. I didn’t think she would stay but didn’t think she would leave so quickly. Maybe she just wanted to steal any ideas on running the cheerleaders to take back to the east coast. For all we know, this could have been a grand scheme starting with the Patriots.

Loved the DCC Special. Wow the big hair! To see Judy teaching choreography & Kelli wasn’t even married yet. Along with Kim Oden, Shelley Roper, Tina Kalina etc. I think the team is much sharper & precise when dancing. I actually like the white varsity sweaters they needed when in Texas Stadium.

In the past the gift giving began with GL & 2ndGL to give people an idea. I remember the personalized dog beds for girls to use to nap or sit on. Those were from sponsors & I imagine they were at cost or less.

To sATL the Christmas show is the one at the Ford Center, not at the football game. They do it for multiple weekends leading up to Christmas.

As a child through being in my 20’s I heard directly or indirectly that I was not attractive, bump on my nose made me look like a witch, told to say yes to the first guy who asked me to marry him as no one else would, to being told I was homely. I would never want to inflict the emotional pain on these ladies as I have felt. Beauty on the outside fades as the beauty on the inside is what counts. Some of the beauties can be unpleasant or vacant inside. I am not interested in who is unattractive or less attractive.

Rockettes require ALL veterans to reaudition every year like DCC typically.

Alora Rose & Jacie did summer intensive at the same time with Jacie auditioning for the 2nd time which was 2017 & Alora Rose for the 6th time. Jacie made it then & Alora Rose did not so if she was a Rockette, she was probably successful in 2018.

I can’t figure out if this is the right topic for this. I did some research on Jacie concerning the Rockettes. She was a DCC for 4 years through May 2016. The auditions are only 2 days so conceivably she could have easily auditioned during spring of a season. Usually they are in April. Only after passing audition that invitations for summer intensive offered. That is a weeklong program from which I have seen 1-3 girls being offered a position at the end of that program. Jacie didn’t become a Rockette until summer 2017. My guess was that perhaps Alora Rose was not auditioning but was going to the summer intensive late summer. After leaving DCC, Alora Rose went to the intensive of probably 40+ other girls & she wasn’t chosen after 6 attempts!

I felt this episode reminded me of the “good old days” of MTT…fast paced, all the feels, & had many interesting stories. Ava does seem immature & perhaps has not had to follow rules & then suffer the consequences when those rules are broken. I appreciate how she handled the cut. It sounds like if she comes back, it might be several years. Someone asked about if Lisa made the blue top she wore. I wondered that also but then realized she would not have used that precious:material. At one of the close ups, it appeared to be a lightweight sweater set.

I would guess VK might have gone to the game but didn’t dance as that would mean she was an alumni, not coming back, rather than a veteran taking a year off.

Alora Rose is probably not really cut out for Rockettes. She wasn’t accepted until she had tried out 6 times(she mentioned that in a Rockettes video that followed her and Jacie’s audition process. She never really looked super sharp in her movements when I watch the audition so I could see why it took six times. I believe she danced with them two years maybe and then has been off for a period of time. I think her days of being a Rockette are now behind her.

I think It is hard to predict who will be a one year wonder. Some years we’ve had several girls but I feel like it is just hard to predict who Kelli is going to lose interest in over the year and then when they come back to try out that May, it becomes clear to us who Kelli is no longer supporting like Breelan etc. Kelli will take a chance but she is unwilling to keep those girls who plateaue.

I actually think they have chosen 18 before which allows them more leeway in a performance such as a morning event might have girls who can’t get off work so there is usually enough to make a good showing.

Yes I was amazed how good girls looked when they did Thunderstruck as a group for the first time but I believe it was one of the routines they were sent ahead of time to memorize. It seemed like I heard it was 5 songs they were sent. I think this is the way to go with rehearsals then shorter or devoted to other aspects like deportment!

As they say in theater, leave them wanting more….so go out on the top

I am actually surprised that Kelli allowed Jalyn back on SG as there was no real data that Jalyn’s dance & ambassador skills had plummeted. And then to seem to magnanimously grant her another try at SG with a swish of her fairy wand! Wonder if Kelli will allow her on SG next year or is she better off retiring?

As to Judy being overridden by Kelli, she must be willing to put up with Kelli’s behavior as this has been going on for years & they are still close friends. There are things people are willing to overlook to keep their job. Think of all the complaints you have heard or read about yet those people stay with their jobs. Judy must be willing to pay the price.

If you were in marching band, we learned 8 to 5 so those girls would have to unlearn that. someone asked who else was asked about the girls. I know the Crusilla or whatever her name was asked as someone who was cut was shown her photo with Kelli noting she gave her a vote but didn’t see that she received any other ones.

Just saw Jacie on FB in a Rockette commercial entitled We’re Back!

I think from years ago discussion that the there were built in panties in their tights so they didn’t wear any extra panties to avoid VPL. They then cut the elastic waistband off as it is higher than the shorts which you see sometimes with the practice shorts.

Although the V-cut shorts may be more flattering but it’s like the treasure trail, pointing directly to the cash & prizes. Not classy

Interesting to read the comments on Reddit. It seems he may have taken advantage of a site to create fictitious conversation along with the appropriate date, time, carrier, & even power level! Yes a man who was scorned with a restraining order. Apparently he supposedly had cancer? Apparently also posted the conversation on her ticTock but it is down now. He is a loose cannon. Hope she is being supported by TPTB.

I was super surprised after last week’s very late uploading of the episode to Amazon that at midnight I received an email that the episode had posted. I did send them an email previously which of course had no reply about the tardiness. So what did I do yesterday,? I started searching at 5pm for the episode thinking it was Saturday!!
