Why wouldn't a German doctor be able to get a job in the US? I thought there were a lot of foreign doctors here.

I've crocheted baby blankets for Project Linus for babies in ICU and bears for police and fire fighters to give to children. I also heard the hospital wants caps for infants but I don't know much about this and am just getting back to crocheting after a 6 year hiatus.

Globe Trekker - Ukraine. I watched this recently and was disgusted by two segments. Not because they were gross but because they were disturbing. I hate extreme religious groups that don't allow women to share activities because it would distract the poor men. Therefore, the Hasidic men who all travelled to Ukraine bothered me. Then the host Holly stayed in a hotel where mainly American and Canadian men went to meet women. The 75 year old man was disgusting. I found the visit to Chernobyl gave me information I had never seen before even though I have watched other programs about it. It is not being adequately taken care of because there is not enough money.

I love my immersion/stick blender. I make a lot of soups and find this works really well. I did upgrade to a small commercial type rather than the kind from Costco that I found underpowered after my first one cracked. The last soup I made was a roasted carrot which was delicious.

This may be a little snarky but, do you think Bobby Flay's divorce will prompt Michael to bring Liz into the conversation more often?

I have to admit I laughed when Zoey was screaming at doctor's office and Will was laughing as Bill was twirling him in the chair. I enjoyed the contrast and did not think Zoey was in any real trouble (maybe Will with the twirling.) I felt much sorrier for her when they picked her up at the orphanage and she was so upset. What I like about Jen and Bill is that they actually research and search for information on what they are doing and if they have problems.
