  1. Why is there even a trial at this point. The dead lawyer was the exectutor. When he died there would have been a lengthy probate process (as in weeks to months) to name Lucian as the new exectutor. Now that Lucien is dead, the probate process would have to begin again, and the trial would have to be halted because there would be questions as to who is the plaintiff. Another big mistake was when Cady told her dad that the trial was going to start again with a "new prosecuting attorney". This case is a civil matter, and there is no prosecuting attorney. That and the fact that the rifle of choice in this PD are lever action guns.
  2. They do that all the time in this show. Plus, in most counties the Sherrif is an elected position, so other elected officials can do little to remove them from office, especially a mayor, who only has jurisdiction for a small part of the county. The animosity between the sherrifs is ridiculous. Law officers in every state have the authority to conduct investigation and carry out search warrants in other juridictions as part of investigations of crimes that occurred in their county (or city, town etc). Fleeing to another county isn't like Roman Polanski hiding from US justice in Europe.
  3. That deserved a nice little curb stomp.
  4. Then tonite they had a one-hour show all about Dozer Dave. And he ended the show talking about how he wants to start mining with his family. So expect another mining outfit to make an appearance on the show with all the attendant drama of Dave versus Todd.
  5. That was one hot dress Ms Abott was wearing to work the morning she ran into Gandy and Nash in the parking lot
  6. That iritatingly erudite MC President sure reminded me of the Sons of Anarchy character US Attorney Lincoln Potter played by Ray McKinnon. But I can't find confirmation of that one way or another.
  7. Well, since it's been about two months since he went off heroin and the zombie apocolypse started, I think his rehab has been too flawless so far. In real life, he'd still be in Schick-Shadel, much less saving his family.
  8. That boat looks like a money pit. Also looks like the scene of Bam and Allison very own show away from the tribe.
  9. Was that the last show of the season? Didn't really come off hat way, but there aren't any more shows scheduled for the next two weeks. I'm thinking that they're really letting us hang for a while till they figure out if this show is going out to pasture, which it really should. Discovery and the History channel may be running out of shows.
  10. It's always been running primarily on Discovery
  11. Just how much new footage did we see in this newest season, cumulatively? 15 minutes? maybe less? Put this show out of it's misery.
  12. I hope this is the last season. Watching Sig trying to die and Jake's strokes is becoming too much.
  13. Colorado? Wholy frick! You've got to be kidding me! They could go gold mining with Todd Hoffman.
  14. Discovery missed an AWESOME chance to have a cross over episode. Who wouldn;t tune in to see Bear get eaten by a shark?
  15. I think Discovery is tauting another "lost footage episode" tomorrow ( Wednesday July 12). If that's the case, they need to just put this series away, either for good or on a hiatus. It was very ill considered to air this new season so soon after the last, especially given the health of Ami.
  16. Where's the house at? Seems like Ventura or somewhere NW of LA? But the show often shows photographs of the Owen Valley/395, which is hours away from LA.
  17. Interesting interview on the Lars Larson Show today. Lars interviewed former Anchorage Daily News writer Tom Kizzia, who wrote about the Hale's, an Alaskan Bush family. There the similarities to the Brown's ends. The family in Tom Kizzia's book "Pilgrims Wilderness" differs wildly from the Brown family. The Hale's are headed by a Texan in ill health from a well-off family who married a 16 year-old child bride, who at the time was ten years younger than her husband. There was recrimination by her family because of the percievd isolation forced on her by her husband Bobby Hale. Some saw the family as a cult headed by a crazy man who talked often about spirituality and the need to keep the family together. They moved to Alaska with their large, barely literate home-schooled brood, surviving at times on the bartered labor of the sons, and eventually became local media darlings until it came out that they were welfare cheats. After some issues with the Feds, poor Bobby Hale ends up dead imprisoned for multiple child molestation charges on his eldest daughter. Anyway, I read the book a number of years ago and was happy to stumble upon the interview today. You can find the interview as hour 2 062717 http://www.larslarson.com/lars-larson-podcast/
  18. I think I've seen scenes where Gabe (the strong one) had cigs rolled up in his shirt sleeve, greaser style
  19. Yup, the program has ended https://www.adn.com/film-tv/article/walker-kills-suspended-film-incentive-program/2015/06/16/
  20. On the June 14th show, she mentioned how much she likes to have butter in the bush
  21. I made the same mistake, which was to believe the Alaskan Bush family facebook page and Discovery
  22. They become Uber drivers and get the hell beaten out of them by drunk crabbers? But in this case the cops don't make an arrest, but instead join in the melee?
  23. I think they're saying that Wayne Unsers crew are white supremisists
