  1. I'm always just amazed at how little the kids have learned, and I put that all on Billy. When they go hunting, they glass the area using their rifle scopes - a massive breach of safety and ettiquite. The two oldest are about thirty, and are completely incompetent at docking a boat. Look a Sean Dryer on the Deadliest Catch, who is only 23 but was taught the right way to do things. The four oldest go out with out dad and have engine trouble, and Gabe who was kind of the engineer, was completely clueless. Check for water in the fuel is easy and common on a boat, yet he had no idea of how to do anything about it. Yet another case of poor training. And their construction skills are reminiscent of Old man Jack Hoffmans mining, everybody should just do something random.
  2. Pushing the Suzuki up that steep dock ramp seemed really safe. Four people behind a vehicle they can barely handle with a child in charge of the brakes. And no escape if something goes wrong. You'd have to be real stupid to get something to eat while the tide came in and lessened the angle of the ramp.
  3. Another thing Noah did wrong, when re-smelting you own bullets from garbage and reclaimed lead, you need to flux out the other metals. This can be as simple as throwing saw dust into the mix, and ladling off the top scum. How people who are so adept at living off the land don't know this is beyond me. This is make your own bullets 101. I don't think Noah's date was there on a date, it was more of a trip to a semi working anthropology museum.
  4. Noah can't weld either. And his pipe wrench hatchet is stupid
  5. And we are all left wondering if Noah can be the person he was before Christie. Yikes, in a family of weirdos he's the weirdest. And his song sucked. That and Bam is just a nasty asshole. Why do he and Matt even choose to be around each other, to hell with Billy's "keeping the family together" stuff. Those two just hate each other.
  6. Just what is wrong with Noah's leg. When most people get hurt, they give your a run down of how and what happened ( I was rescuing a bunch of kittens from a burning building and tore my ACL, or I got drunk and fell on my face and broke my nose). From Noah we get the story that he injured his leg, very vague and nothing else. You got to wonder if he just got a little owey and nothing more, but has learned from dad how to milk this out to the n-th degree. I bet if most of us knew what the injury was, we would just look at him and tell him to call the wambulance. I think the kid is faking.
  7. You're questioning the plausibility of that?
  8. I just don't think that during a ZA where the US military is effectively defeated and all the infra structure has been destroyed, that national borders are going to remain any sort of deterrent. Except the US/Mexican border near San Diego.
  9. Just a couple of points, mostly in response to posts above: 1) Billy didn't let us down, the family is a victim. But then you wonder why, if they only pled to stop the attacks, why didn't they plead nolo contendre? I just kinda think the state has the proof. 2) I too wonder why the MV Lite Weight is involved in this fiasco. 3) There sure are a lot of make or break occurrences at Brown Town, things that could change their future happen daily. Wow. 4) Last year the cabin was framed up and the interior was finished with cardboard. Now the interior is finished with nice clean cedar ship lap, cut with a stationary miter saw. When did they get the time to do that while they were all dying in Seattle and the bears owned the cabin?
  10. This show needs Peg Bundy and some Iranians to show up and purge the cast
  11. Todd sings Christian rock as poorly as he manages a gold mine. That is what he partly did when he left this last summer.
  12. I hope that moving Fort Knox was either easier than it looked or the owners got a boat load of money.
  13. I don't think that trade was an example of entitlement any more than the myriad of trades that happen at the behest of a player at the end of a career. He went from a poor team to a poor team, and the Bills collected a bunch of draft choices in order to rebuild.
  14. Probably the Oct 22, 1978 game in SF against ATL. The Falcons won 2017, and OJ had almost 100 yards. His output the next years really suffered.
  15. I think it was about 1 1/2 ounces per 100 yds
  16. No, but neither was it Murder 1 or 2, most likely manslaughter
  17. Toad finds one nugget and is ready to pack the whole show off to 200 acres in Oregon because he needs to fins a new site for next year so people have a job. Problem is, his crew is so big they can't all even stand on twoo hundred acres at the same time. Have fun in Oregon Todd, I'm thinking the water useage and discharge laws are a little different then in the Yukon.
  18. Here is a link to a current, real-life story with many parallels occuring now at the University of Tennessee, where Peyton Manning got away with exposing himself to female athletic trainers. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/02/10/lawsuit-vols-player-put-hit-on-ut-teammate-who-helped-rape-victim/
  19. I saw on Building Alaska, that one of the contractors featured is using the large freight company (Sea Level Transport/ MV Lite Weight) as has been featured in Alaska Bush people as "giving" some smaller jobs to the Brown Clowns. Kind of surprised Building Alska didn't want Matt and Bam bringing twenty tons of lumber ashore with the skiff. Watching Building Alaska, I have a hard time believing that the MV Lite Weight professionals would even consider using the Browns. http://www.sealeveltransport.com
  20. I believe that when the judge rejected the plea deal, Bam and Billy were then allowed to rescind their guilty pleas and the whole trial must begin anew.
  21. Todd apparently introduced himself to Ted Cruz as "Hi, I'm Tod from the TV show Gold Rush", and Ted had no idea what or who that was. Todd is now concerned that Mr Cruz might be out of touch with the common man. Weird metric there.
  22. THey did not mention the Browns by name, but this would explain a lot. http://mynorthwest.com/11/2783487/Roadside-moochers-or-a-sign-of-Seattles-expanding-homeless-problem
  23. I believe so. The plea deal was rejected, so Pa and Bam withdrew their guilty pleas. I would assume the state would renew their charges against the others
