  1. I will give Kim a bit of a break as she desperately tried to get Howard to leave when Lalo first got there. Talking Saul was actually pretty good, with some insights into the characters and story
  2. Lol, yes. One of my favorite Seinfeld moments 😄
  3. Can't remember if we knew Kim was from Nebraska before (license plate on that cherry AMC)
  4. Alex pronounced the u in the proper French fashion, albeit a bit exaggerated. It is very similar/identical to a German umlaut u
  5. Pastor Jeff was the worst. Terrible pastor and friend. Maybe he and TimTom will have a confrontation
  6. Feh on Bananarama. I have the 45 original by Shocking Blue. And the name was Venus
  7. The WWII buff in me loved the Nurembergcategory, and I ran it, but I was screaming NO! Don't go there, the clues take too long!
  8. When Jimmy/Saul got shunned at the courthouse, I was reminded of the scene in BB when Mike's lawyer was taking hush money to the bank to pay off the guys. The bank clerk loved him and his little presents, until the Feds dropped in.
  9. I was sure Mattea was gone, but when I saw Sarah's face during FJ, it was clear she had no clue. I thought it was a super easy FJ, figuring anyone who got on the show would have some familiarity with Citizen Kane. We covered it in my film class in college and it gave me quite an appreciation for its place in cinematic history
  10. I'm getting to the "just can't with this show anymore" phase with this show, like I did with The Goldbergs a few years ago. Darlene and Ben plot is stupid. Tearing the house down is stupid. Stew at a sports bar is stupid. Characters disappearing without explanation for multiple episodes is stupid. Beverly Rose aging on her own timeline is stupid. This show is supposed to be "realistic". As someone else mentioned, I don't really want the show to be canceled, I just want the writing to improve
  11. I precalled Automatic Transmission when AT came up as a category. AT/MT were commonly used abbreviations at my last couple of jobs, given space constraints in our database fields Not a lot of need for MT anymore, though :(
  12. How interesting that women do quite well in blind judging.
  13. And apparently NBC tweeted out something calling Mattea a "lesbian tutor"! Don't think it has come up before, not that it makes any difference, NBC
  14. I used to work with a woman who would say "Today's sponge is tomorrow's child". She spoke from experience
  15. I was 32, unmarried and pregnant in the late 80s, and was very afraid to tell my religious (but not nutjobs like Mary) parents
  16. I had it in my head that Aurora was Marilyn Monroe's character in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes so I went with that Sad that no one got Richie Havens, but not shocked
  17. Seconded. For FJ I got stuck on trying to figure out African countries that France had colonized, but didn't get to Cote d'Ivoire
  18. I read this morning that NBC journalists aren't happy with Psaki being hired at MSNBC.
