Like Tom's "caviar tin." I feel like I remember in the earlier seasons Tom C being vehemently against "anything we're not supposed to eat" (garnishes/ingredients that add nothing to the dish) as opposed to "things we can't eat."

They've all been so well behaved over the seasons, it's hard to pick one of these Jellicle Cats to ascend to the Heaviside Layer. They're paid a pretty penny just to appear on these shows, they have several brand partnerships (with TV commercials, even), Carl had only been separated from Loverboy for 5 months at the time of the reunion, so it seems premature for Paige to be on their case when their financial situation appears to be just fine. She might be more upset that her relationship with Craig wasn't deemed the most marketable one on Summer House.

He's definitely funny. Buddha: "Tom what are you doing right now?" Tom: "None of your fucking business." And his "climbing over the railing" during the Wellington judging was top tier.

Kyle treated Amanda like a literal call girl in S1, breaking up with her right before he left to go live his best life, then dialing her up to come over in the middle of the night to have sex and GTFO before sunrise... then he spent the next few seasons alternating between yelling at her, humiliating her, cheating on her... then he proposes on a boat after a couple uninterrupted months of NotCheating and everyone has acted like he's Prince Charming since. Kyle doesn't know shit about relationships- because Amanda acquiesces to his shit and has given up on trying to be an equal partner. Carl interjecting "YOU CHEATED ON HER, KYLE" during that segment was *chefskiss* since that part gets lost with the right couches of the reunion set. Amazing that someone habitually cheats on his girlfriend, and the associated girlfriend and her alleged best friends are no longer outraged at the cheating but remain outraged at Lindsay telling him she knew about the cheating. Because she told him about it on camera, while Kyle had the good manners to cheat on his girlfriend off camera. Ditto for "CRAIG DID GET KICKED OUT OF THE WEDDING, PAIGE" - when something is true and a lot of people are witness to it, maybe don't go so hard on accusing one person of leaking it. "I know it was you" says the person with no receipts.

Right but banana leaves are edible, and corn husks aren’t. Since she didn’t want them to eat it, I thought husks would’ve been a better choice for the challenge.

Tom was the one who used most of a team budget for himself, just to make a shitty cioppino. And he’s the one who left an entire basket of his team’s ingredients at the store checkout in another team challenge. But only other people’s ingredients.

Your entire post gets an A+/Amen from me, but especially this. “It’s not about the pasta” got a lot of viewer attention due to hypotheses about pasta being drugs, but it was in fact about the pasta. Lala was so joyful telling James and anyone who would listen that sweet little Raquel (as she was at the time) ordered pasta and they “devoured it” while Raquel watched was truly fucking wicked since she and James both knew Lala had also devoured something else of Raquel’s.. James. Lala has always hated Raquel.

Also, she had no friends, so who’s to say she wouldn’t have done the same with one of her best friend’s boyfriends if opportunity struck aka they had jet access?

I think Padma made the “Well I know what it’s going to taste like” comment before the broth even hit the table. It must have smelled fucking incredible.

She was warmer the first 8 times they talked about it. I really like all the new blood. Their enthusiasm is refreshing and none of them seem eager to take sides with the bullshit in the house.

I'm not really sure why anyone would expect Schwartz to blow up Sandoval's spot anyway. Schwartz and Ariana are friends, but he's Scandy's best friend. Ariana was one of his groomsmen, but Scandy was his best man. His loyalty is to his best friend. If the tables were turned and she'd been creeping on him, I don't think we'd expect Ariana's best friend (Logan?) to scoot over and tell Scandy about it. Adding to this, Ariana has made it known you can't come to her and tell her things about Scandy without her calling over Scandy to dispute what you're saying (ex: Lala trying to tell her at the SAH Sur party that he lied about not being able to get an Uber circa Grandma's passing and her saying "NOOOOOPE, I'm not doing this, Tom come over here.") Most people don't have a commitment to the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth when it involves selling out their closest friend in the world to someone who will probably never talk to them again anyway.
