She's been doing that, though. A couple of weeks at Grandma's house while Mom takes a break isn't going to negate it-- if she only hadn't told them about the boy toy (which has to be super confusing for them.)
-
I'm with you on all this. Might be an unpopular opinion but... I think it's great that Amanda is doing something for herself and I fault her zero for the short time period between losing her husband and meeting Razman. If I come to an unfortunate/sudden end and the doctor who gives her the bad news happens to be single attractive and kind, I hope he calls my girl to check in on her a few weeks later and invites her for a venti iced latte with vanilla cold foam because it's her favorite and he's cute and thoughtful and I'm fucking dead, she's not.** I feel sad for Amanda, though, because even if she knows Razman's not daddy material she's trying to convince us (and herself) that she's doing this for her kids. Her kids don't even need to know about him or where she's going yet. "Mommy's going on vacation with her friend to relax" is enough. It feels like there may be people in her life who have convinced her that there's some shame to what she's doing, and there isn't. **However if she gets a box emblazoned with a picture of me wearing the shlumpiest clothes I own and carries it around the house, I'm going to haunt the fuck out of her and tell her to being weird and stop traumatizing our kids. Tell them funny stories about me, don't put my remains next to their Bluey figures.

I don’t think he minds being called deaf. They’re probably my favorite couple but I guess I should wait and see what happens when they actually meet.

I doze off during this iteration sometimes so maybe I missed it, but was April problematic? I thought she was ok aside from the bathroom thing (and I know plenty of people who are weird about using other folks’ bathrooms even when there’s water running to it.) Strange but inoffensive. Either way my dude Valentin if you want to be Stone Cold Big Willy who breaks things off, do it. Don’t make up a story about a dog and drop her your location days later to call her slurs and waste more of her time. -
It was a rough afternoon and she thought she could turn the beet around.
-
I think these two (in bold) are on another show?

In case you missed the episode, here's a quick visual recap! AMANDA: RAZMAN: AMANDA: ------------------------------------- MEISHA: NICOLA: ------------------------------------- CARMELLA: TYRAY: ------------------------------------- JASMINE: GINO: If I had a dollar for every couple who met at Hooters.
-
Amanda and her husband got together when she was 19 and he was 33?

I wouldn't say cheaters have no right to comment, but Lala and James leading the charge on Scandoval when a) their cheating is recent b) was within this same cesspool community of people and c) neither of them has shown much if any contrition for what they did, or sympathy for those they did it to (aka Raquel/Ex-Mrs. Rand/Kristen/etc) is pretty silly. Earlier in the season when Tom and Ariana had a pool party, Lala derided Raquel for not being "over" the cheating she'd learned about on the previous episode. I want to say that same episode Ariana gives a TH about how Katie/Christina/Lala are habitual mean girls and called out Lala's comments about Raquel's intelligence (or lack thereof) as being unacceptable.

In this example, no one’s stacking the Madoff jury with 12 known thieves either. As far as “stealing a candy bar vs stealing life savings” that seems like an oversimplification. I find it hard to differentiate one infidelity from another like this or quantify heartbreak/betrayal; of all the people I know who have been cheated on, I’d be hard pressed to find one who would say “Mine wasn’t so bad”/“At least it was a guy I didn’t know”/etc. Getting your heart broken is getting your heart broken. Being together for eight years doesn’t mean one couple loves each other more than a couple together for one year. I think the former Mrs. Rand and their children might argue that Lala’s offenses were more egregious even though they weren’t “best friends” (a term that gets thrown around a lot on this show when they really mean “the cast members I dislike the least.) None of it changes that what T&R did or makes it better, but a lot of people are going to think fellow cheaters James Lala Jax Kristen etc are hypocrites and should tone it down. And some will also remember that Ariana knowingly hooked up with a guy who was in a five year live-in relationship with Kristen. Everyone makes mistakes.

*Not to be confused with the very special episode of Boy Meets World where Shawn joined a cult.

Gino’s Anal Adventures? Carmela Soprano is a man? PIs are being hired? Faceless teddy bears? Fine, I’m convinced. I’ll get caught up on the season and be here next Sunday. -
Ehh. If a bunch of cheaters are ready to villainize two people for cheating because their time already came and went with no real repercussions, that’s hypocritical. Even if there were repercussions. If Jodi Arias wants to weigh in on the Idaho murder trial, nobody’s going to want to hear her mouth- because she’s a murderer. There was a lot of height and might on that stage considering they’re all walking Petri dishes. Hypocrites: they don’t practice what they preach.

The article (and my comment) were about Lala, not Ariana.
-
Bingo. She was proud of herself until she realized people were put off by the witch trial. And I’m not buying Lala’s sudden realization that Raquel has some real issues; Lala has shamed her for her intelligence/abilities on many occasions.

Even before Scandoval broke, she was pretty open about her mental health and her struggles with depression, loss of self, traumatic experiences, lack of confidence, etc. I hope she has the bandwidth to help herself with what she's learning there.
