I caved and watched. More than one "African-fabric-inspired" designer confuses me. More than one "gender fluid" person confuses me. As in I will never remember who has what name. I liked the originally from Chicago guy and the woman from Minnesota. I predict Amy will be the first auf'ed.

If PR hadn't jumped the shark a few years ago, it definitely has with the twins. Having 2 brothers on Top Chef was bad enough, but twins who already have their own fashion design business? This reinforces my resolve not to watch. I rely on you PTVers to keep me on board with the shenanigans.

My unpopular Hitchcock opinions. I cannot stand Joan Fontaine (the biggest screen simp ever) so dislike Suspicion (the ending of the book is so much better) or Rebecca (another book I love). I enjoy the plot of Strangers on a Train, but Farley Granger ruins the movie for me. He's just too soft. Therefore I don't like Rope either and find the (fairly true) story rather distasteful. However, I do think Psycho is a wonderful movie as far as direction and cinematography go. It's just so scary/creepy that I can no longer watch it. I've only seen Rear Window once and have no memory of it except that it succeeded in make me hot, temperature-wise.

My Hitchcock 5: Apologies for lack of formatting, but I'm on an iPad. 1. Shadow of a Doubt. 2. Notorious. 3. The 39 Steps. 4. The Lady Vanishes. 5. North by Northwest.

Shouty!Swaying! Ryan. I hated him. I actually fast-forwarded through parts of the game so I didn't have to hear him. I knew DDL was not right, knew Hopkins was Nixon but couldn't think of another role. I answered Hopkins anyway, but swear Frost & Nixon was more recent than the 1990s. Edited: Frost & Nixon came out in 2006. I swear the FJ! said both roles were in the 1990s. Yet another edit: Hopkins was nominated for his role in Nixon, not Frost & Nixon.

I confess that even though I've seen SNF multiple times, I cheesed on the question and answered "Car Wash...."

As soon as the FJ! category was revealed I said "Hemingway" because "Novels" is ALWAYS Hemingway or Fitzgerald. But I answered "Judgement at Nuremberg"....... I was sad that nobody got Houdini or S.E. Hinton.

I have no idea who Aaron Sorkin is.

I knew rhinestones because my mother (who would be 96) taught me that good rhinestones came from the Rhine river. Cubic zirconia are NOT rhinestones. And what river is named Curbic or Zirconia???

They can all come back except Hildi. Her designs were not good and she had a rotten, snotty attitude.

No clue as to FJ! Last month I was in Scotland and felt like I should know the answer.

I was in Edinburgh last month so immediately knew Greyfriar's Bobby. If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have known it. We even ate at Greyfriar's Bobby Pub.

I was expecting jumbo shrimp or plastic glasses in the Oxymoron category. Not to sound like an @ss, but I'm surprised that not everyone knows Rasputin. I didn't learn about him in grade school or high school, so I'm not sure how I know about him. Guess it's just part of the useless information in my mind. I'm not a history fan, but the whole saga of N&A is just fascinatingly tragic. And the book, by Robert Massie is really good in that it reads like a novel and not a boring recitation of facts.

Can't remember which magazine, possibly Martha Stewart Living, had a guest column on gift giving by Simone LeBlanc. The name rang a bell, I looked up the name, and she was the first person eliminated in season 4. Now she is in the executive gift giving business, like baskets filled with soaps that cost $250.

Ten Seasons Of Sick Michael Kors Project Runway Burns In Five Minutes
PaulaO replied to Primetimer's topic in Project Runway
That crotch is insane is from Season 3. I think it was Bradley's Cher inspired look. Why yes, it is boring at work today... -
I refuse to watch the new season, but please post when a model size 12 or bigger makes a runway appearance.

Yes, the dummy's last name was Snerd. I blame auto correct...

I knew Edgar Bergen, but could only come up with Mortimer Snead! I saw Charlie McCarthy in my mind but couldn't come up with his name.

I'm sorry, but Vicky's FJ really needed a BMS. The first name should have been given.

I said Laplanders, knew they were also called Sam-something, but couldn't pull the full name. Sorry to see Jon leave.

Coincidence that Wimbledon is running right now? I couldn't get excited by free tea for life since it most likely is served in a Styrofoam cup. Except for the board hopping, I like Jon. He's quiet, smart, has no annoying tics or mannerisms, isn't smarmy or show offish. I also say pray-leen.

The category Stupid Answers needs to be banned. I effing hate it. I said The Wizard of Oz. Never read Goodnight Moon. Wonder what would happen if a contestant gave the original title of Christie's classic? Has the book title legally been changed?
