Has anyone seen jackattack5678 on YouTube? She tried out for the DCC this year and recorded video from her vantage point. This girl was on the San Antonio Spurs and is a very talented dancer.

On Holly: I liked the way she looked SO much better before her DCC makeover. She had this fresh-faced, clear eyed look to her. You can see it during her rookie season interview when she is talking to Charlotte. Whenever I see her, I just want to turn back the clock. The red hair and earth toned makeup do nothing for her, except make her look harsh.

Is anybody else getting sick of that HandsClap song the DCC have danced to? That thing is going to get worn out real quick, real soon. I would rather hear Rhianna sing SOS from 2006. Chantel at first glance reminds me of Kyndall. Dang, those shorts are tiny!

They sure do have interview coaches. Most of the time, pageant coaches do everything to get them ready for competition and a separate one for interviews is not needed. Studying up on the arrangement of our current US government would give these ladies a leg up....no pun intended.

TN Briana looks to me like she is naturally short and thick. What I found odd was her on camera speaking. She had that far away voice and expression on her face like she popped a couple of Vicodin a half hour before. If she ever makes it onto the squad in the future, I will be very surprised. You never magically get taller or totally change your body type. She is stuck with what she has.

No Simone???? I need to re watch that. And no.....Tasha did not deserve to come back. She needs to do the right thing and give ice cream and pizza to a starving child.

Missmansfield, yep. You are correct. Cary was part of the mother/daughter duo. Maybe they are both confident in the way they look. If so, neither should change a thing, but unless Cary goes under the knife, she won't stand a chance of making the squad, sadly.

Anthony wears more makeup in a day than I wear in six months. Just sayin'.....

I totally agree....Sydney and Ally Traylor are by far not my faves, either. Ally sure did not make the team by her looks. She is not the prettiest rose in the bunch by a long shot. Speaking of Candice's, I am sure missing Mrs. Romo. She is the perfect counterpoint to Melissa.

I noticed during the Phil "let's dance" segment that some of the girls had a look on their face like his idea to dance was lame. If you look closely, you can see some "rolleyes" faces. That ought to make for some interesting interview questions during finals. "OH, hey....btw. How come you looked bored/annoyed/tired during the group dance segment? You cannot have that kind of attitude on a team."

I kind of figured Cary was not going to advance. The only way she will have a shot at being a DCC is to get a nose job, and quite frankly, that is a bad reason to get one. I thought Savannah with the strawberry blonde hair was gorgeous. I also really think Yuko is adorable and amazing. Good on Kashara for taking her under her wing! Kelli indirectly let Whitney down in the most elegant and direct way possible, short of hitting her in the head with a 2x4. Solid Gold dancer Briana.....I do not know why she bugs me, but she does. And Jenna's smile seems manufactured and fake. She is clearly putting on a show for K&J. She did not win me over. Maybe at first and then I thought, "OK. No."

Yes, please, Miss Charlotte....no more short skirts with tiers of ruffles. Just nonono.

Who else thought Briana's audition outfit was weird? It looked like two gold postage stamps over her boobs. I thought her dancing was really lackluster and left much to be desired.

It will be interesting to see how far Cary makes it. I have a hunch the judges will say she is not a "big screen" girl and she will not get in because of that. She has an unconventional look, but I really, really like her a lot.:) In the Amazon.com episode, they took out the "We Are A Family" song and it just ruined the moment between her and her Mom. Thank you for the explanation about the number of women who tried out. It makes sense. :)

I thought that Kelli making a big deal out of the caution tape bikini top was just being nitpicky. Now, if Whitney was drunk/obviously partying, that would be one thing. Wearing a caution tape bandeau and being silly? Not worth getting upset over. The Lil' Wayne costume was an eyebrow raiser. I do not think her intent was to hurt anyone.

If you count the number of seats occupied, it looks like a little less than 300 tried out in Season 5.Yet, Kelli makes it sound like over 600 people show up. Either a bunch of girls are chickening out and not following through with the audition, or Kelli is majorly exaggerating. I am betting on the latter.

As an aside, I always have wondered why the ladies wear such short, tight little dresses for the interviews and first meeting. Yet the judges made a hairy deal over Kat's cut outs. The sexy outfits are expected on the stage, but why wear a glorified cocktail dress in a professional setting? Jeanne24, I think if any of these ladies wanted to be on the team, they would never drink or smoke during their off time and keep a million miles away from any night club. That, to me, is just common sense.
