  1. Okay, the title Put the Smoak Out is actually tickling my funny bone.
  2. Not that I'm pro-Samantha, but turning Thea against Malcolm definitely goes in the plus column in my book.
  3. My one issue with Caity Lotz is her tendency to purse her lips when Sara is out of sorts. I swear to God I started watching her scenes in S2 with a hand raised to cover her mouth. It actually helped, because I connected better with the character when I focused on her eyes. And it was present in this episode of LoT. I also saw her in the 70s episode where it wasn't present because Sara was relaxed and the pursing doesn't come out then.
  4. I love Dig's appearance in Macha's fic and Felicity's physical issues being dealt with unlike they were in the show.
  5. I'm guessing the mopey "I can't save my relationship" comes in 4x16 and it also includes the seemingy forced wedding ceremony in which Oliver potentially delivers his planned vows. Apart from the 4x16 promo, which could definitely include footage from later episodes, everything indicates that Oliver is vitally hurt and fighting for his life in 4x17. Coming back from that, it could make sense that he decides to fight for things that make up his life and not just to survive. Hopefully, he rallies himself up then and goes after the candidacy and Felicity then.
  6. So I watched the thing. Too bad somebody didn't put that final scene in the lair on Youtube so I didn't have to. Oliver teaming up with Diggle: Next Generation was sweet. As was the copy that. Awww. The kid must have picked it up while Dig and Lyla were settling who would do the dishes and take out the trash. Seeing it in higher resolution, did they cake on the old man make up or what? That looked more 80+ than 60. I hope Sara tells Oliver to invest in some face creams once she gets back to the present day. I know you guys have been saying that the young part of Firestorm is bad, but man, having seen him now, he is SO, SOOO bad. I do not even know what the whole thing about snooping around a woman who's just lost her freaky soulmate or whatever and the unknown to her, retirement age son was about. I guess it's because Sara's the only other woman on board and she was busy. Ray was actually perfectly fine until Stein meddled. Stein should go stand in the corner. I'm really not feeling Wentworth Miller's vocal choices. They're just so hoaky. Thing is, when he was quietly observing everything at the bar, I connected more with his character than when he talked. Where's his down coat? Heatwave still looks mentally impaired, but I enjoyed how happy he was with his fur coat.
  7. 19. The cut is good, but while I think her current blonde shade is too light, this looks too dark. The warmer brunette shade from S1 suits her better.
  8. These are supposed to be from the filming of 4x14. He announced he would be putting them up last week.
  9. That's a good guess. We saw them finding out about Sara dying and then three years down the line, but not really in the aftermath. But geez, will it be only them in the flashbacks? Susanna Thompson is a no go, Alex Kingston wasn't filming the flashbacks, not that I mind that part. Maybe Colin Donnell can manage to swing by to add Tommy to the mix at least?
  10. Thanks, guys. I've seen those, I just never really wondered what they were called or what their purpose was.
  11. No, they didn't interact. He witnessed William switching aliances to Green Arrow, but he was on the sidelines. No, they didn't interact. He witnessed William switching aliances to Green Arrow, but he was on the sidelines.
  12. To be fair to William, Darhk had more face to face encounters with both Oliver and GA than the kid did, and he hasn't been able to figure it out. Possibly me. I sure thought it then and still think the same now. Laaaame.
  13. I know but that was the one I could find. I find the misspelled gifs hilarious at times. I think my favorite is from 4x11, from Felicity's really good speech about stopping Darhk because it's what they do and "not out of guilt, or VENEER or regret". I couldn't stop laughing at that. The best part is that I think she said spite, so I have no idea how veneer came to be.
  14. I still don't understand whether he went to CC after the crossover or not.
  15. It was pointed out on Tumblr that the Smoak Technologies logo consists of two arrowheads pointing in opposing directions.
  16. What firebug guy, Heatwave? From what I've seen, he looks slightly developmentally challenged. But, guys, John Connor and Oliver has a robotic arm. It's Terminator Lite!
  17. She told Ray she was 25 sometime last winter. 1990 may be possible, if a stretch, 1991 is definitely out.
  18. This episode really muddied the waters on the issue of Oliver going back to CC. Because he specifically told Felicity he didn't want a relationship with William if she didn't have the chance of having a relationship with the kid. That does not sound like treks to CC. Or was it meant to be that he didn't want a father/son relationship and was going with mommy's friend until he got the clear to tell Felicity? I honestly don't get it.
  19. I didn't even think about Akio until you brought it up, but the writers managed to write a child character for almost the entire season once upon a time, what happened that they wrote William as if he was 4 for two minutes air time tops? Jesus. He still could have had the Flash figure, only it could have been displayed somehere and Oliver could have noticed it. And he at least could have been cognizant of being abducted! I don't need any heroics, just effing awareness that something is amiss.
  20. I always assumed he was. Akio was a nice kid, but man, he would have eaten William alive if they ever crossed paths. He'd have scammed him for his last action figure.
  21. Doesn't it just make him and Oliver perfect for each other? The actor really was pretty good for his limited screentime. I feel like he was a worthy offspring to Dig and Lyla. As for Lance being dead, that's really very likely since he's be pushin 90 in 2046. Edit: Aw, I saw a gif with Sara and old Oliver hugging. That hasn't been clipped for Youtube. I'm gonna have to watch the whole episode, aren't I?
  22. The only Rebecca I can remember from Arrow is Rebecca Merlyn. Why would anyone assume it would be her?
  23. Good thing one of those shows doesn't revolve around time travel then. Nice gut punch with Oliver ending up where he feared he would in S3, dying down in the lair.
  24. As someone with a bacis grasp of arithmetics, I'd say that it's not possible Felicity was born in 1987, seeing as she told Ray she was 25 last year, which would make either 1988 or 1989 her birth year, depending on which month she was born in. However, I have been proven over and over that this is not a trait shared by the writers of these shows. I'm only going off of Youtube clips that I found, so I might be missing some things here. It's somewhat ridiculous, but I find it sweet that Oliver taught John's kid how to shoot a bow and arrow. He's the most logical choice. I doubt Dig ever got into it and Lyla must have had her hands full with ARGUS. The old man make up and beard were actually okay when Oliver wasn't in costume. It's the costume that made the beard ridiculous for some reason. It ruins everything. I enjoyed Steve's old man voice as well and I laughed out loud at, Put the arrow down, John. You're embarassing yourself. Grumpy cat Oliver, I always welcome you. I did find it odd that he called out to Connor while fighting Grant Wilson, John would have felt more natural coming from him. But nice team work and a nod to Oliver tying up Slade with a bolo arrow in the S2 final fight. God damn, is that man spry at 60. I guess being a hermit in a torn down underground lair with no connection to human race gave him all the time in the world to work out. Does he parkour over the debris? Apparently he was publicaly maimed by another Wilson. Yeesh. He really is the writers' Torture Ken doll. I have some questions that weren't answered in the clips I watched. Was it explained how old Grant was and did he even know Slade or just of him? Were there any clues to what lies in store for this version of SC, Oliver and Starling after the legends got on their ship?
