The Darkest Hour. :D No, really. There was promising stuff in earlier chapters, but this last one was great in that regard.

I actually have real faith in the author regarding Tommy. It's not where I would instinctively go given the Tommy we know from the show, but I think she's really onto something here and that it's tied into the history of abuse, but was really triggered by That's the part I find fascinating, cruelly ironic and just downright sad.

It's a gripping story, really. My favorite parts are probably delving into Tommy and Oliver, and Moira and Felicity. Those interactions are fascinating.

What did I miss? It's Dig's hypothetical future kid. If I didn't get the joke, sorry.

You're not the only one. Frankly, the only two on whom I don't need a refresher course each time they're brought up are Artemis and Wild Dog. And I regularly need to correct myself because I tend to call him Mad Dog.

I had no idea about Fred and Wesley. What happened with her and Gunn? I remember them being together when I was watching. Off the bat, it's Jen on Dawson's Creek for me. That was brutal and raw.

Where's the middle photo on the right from? The one between Oliver in the original suit and Slade.

I don't know. I was super confused when I saw the Hawks and Savage until I saw EBR's and WH's outfits. So, they're releasing stuff almost a year after the fact. I don't know how that makes sense.

So that's why they were on set with LoT people when they gave BTS interviews for the early part of S4. I still love that blouse on EBR. And her hair looked awesome that day.

If they wanted to move Felicity's age around a bit, like by a year or two, that would be really low on the list of their sins against continuity. It was only mentioned one time on screen and that was an off hand remark, giving a round number. It's not set in stone. Until explicitly told otherwise, as with Thea, who celebrated her 18th birthday on the show in early 2013 (meaning she was born in early 1995), I'm using Felicity's S3 remark as reference.

I'm expecting an influx of fics soon. The OFBB stories should start getting posted in ten days or so if memory serves me.

You know, I sort of grew to appreciate FiCoN for what it is. It's not perfect, but then almost none of my fics are getting updated. The one that did sort of left me uncomfortable and wondering if I was just unaware of some problems in previous chapters. I even read a one shot set at an AU point of S3 - Oliver and Felicity spent the night together, but before Oliver went to save Malcolm from NP. It started as a head scratcher for me, because I just couldn't figure out when it was supposed to take place, but then it escalated. To the point where I believe Oliver told Felicity, I'm not doing this so you could sleep with other men, this being Oliver throwing himself at the pyre or whatever. This attitude was just gross.

I think he took it down. Yes, I went to check. The damage has been done already though.
