Until the last two minutes I felt like I was Oliver and Oliver was me. Seriously, these Evelyn and Wild Dog are strangers, one of them still a kid. I was completely behind him keeping on his disguise and for Felicity to have one. In fact, until told otherwise on the show, I'm going to ascribe her recklessness to her dealing with Havenrock. Surprisingly, Evelyn wasn't that bad. I found the actress horrid last year, but she was solid in this episode. And while I expected to like Wild Dog best from the promos, I actually connected most with Ragman in this episode. The actor didn't get much to do, but I found him really expressive and full of potential. Maybe it's also because he jump started Felicity's Havenrock storyline. Thank goodness Thea managed to cobble together whole outfits by the end of the episode there. SC is not your giant night club, Thea.

I'm fine with the shorter ponytail if not enthused, it's serviceable, but I don't know who was smoking what with all those braids.

This and this are my main issues.

I got completely lost in @quarks explanation. Damn Flashpoint.

I think SA's more advanced at being passive aggressive than that. If he had been going for that, I think he'd have deliberately posted a million pics with any and all cast and crew except for EBR.

Here's a, likely erroneous, hopeful thought for the day. It has been said that Arrow would be affected by the Flashpoint at the beginning and towards the end of the season. Maybe Sara gets restored by the end of the season somehow. Also, we've had photos of EBR, KC and CL apparently dressed up at this McMansion set. Yet SA's in casual clothes and so is WH. Maybe all the characters from that world are invited to the party and the Queen siblings crash.

I'd just like to know which writers' room came up with this brilliant idea. I am not opposed to Dig having a son, I liked the conceit that his son took up Oliver's mantle and I like the actor who played him. All that could have been accomplished by either simply adding him on as Sara's sibling through the consequences of Flashpoint or, you know, Lyla and Dig conceiving him after he got back stateside from his tour and Sara getting a younger brother. The LoT episode in question took place 30 years in the possible future. There is no reason why that Connor couldn't be in his late 20s.

Felicity's been put together since season 2 so the wardrobe didn't throw me. The hairdo, however, did. The Flash has made her matronly in the past, now they're going for juvenile? If this is another effect of the Flashpoint, I swear, Barry.

So how much does Felicity know about Flashpoint and its consequences? Has Barry actually told her about Sara Diggle and that's when she gave him the pudding line or whatever or was only the audience made aware of this particular change? Also, did Barry also somehow manage to erase Cisco's brother from existence or did that guy simply die?

I have to say, I did not unequivocally love the third episode of This is Us as I did the first two. There was great stuff, like grown-up Randall calling Rebecca mommy, Kevin's display of beanies and Gerald McRaney showing up again. I really have two issues with the episode. I also like how they're exploring the twin bond between Kevin and Kate that's been present since the start, the way it both gives them strength and robs them of independence and growing. That could be really interesting as they go into it further. Also, seems like Randall is not a fan of Miguel's and that just warms me.

The latest on my list of (re)discovered strengths of Gilmore Girls are the Chilton adventures. The lengths to which the students took their disputes were almost farsical, which is great fun, but also how great was it that it was never about a boy. The last I saw was Francie playing Rory and Paris against each other, Paris actually being completely aware of it but pissed at Rory regardless because she didn't include Paris in dealing with Francie. All of this was prompted by disagreeing on how to distribute the senior class budget for prom and gift to the school. It also featured one of my favorite physical scenes on the show - Rory and Paris throwing down while fencing in gym class. Simultaneously hilarious and intense. Liza Weil was an excellent find and the decision to write the character of Paris for her is to be applauded.

I think it could be an old photo in the sense that it wasn't taken on the actual last day of filming but earlier and he was holding on to it to post last. He was sort of building up to it, first the pic with WH, then DR and finally EBR. I don't think it's from two years ago, though.

That's what I thought as well. also, so there, guys. :p

The early Gilmore Girls is making me think that I actually will be watching in November. I hope Luke and Rory get some good scenes. After being all for Rory and Jess, Luke gets freaked out by it and goes to look for them. And brings Rory's sweater along because it's cold and she might need it! It's the cutest damn thing ever and now I feel there should have been more scenes with Rory and Luke over the years.

I'm not really talking about this last chapter that I haven't nor really plan to read, but the feeling I got from those chapters where I stopped reading. I don't plan on reading the one shots since I can't say I'm interested in reading about Oliver and Felicity's grown up children. This isn't my issue with any particular author, just my reading preference. The one kid I could actually reading about is Josephine from one of Macha's fics, the one who spent her teens with Dig and Lyla. She sounded like an interesting character in her own right, extending from being her parents' kid and how she was created through their influence, so I could see myself at least giving her possible story a go.

If it's that one, I can only applaud for them both managing a take where they didn't crack over that awkward line. I mean, come on! And obviously, whoever did some promos over the summer agrees with me, since I distinctly remember it as missing the amber part.

Meh, I wasn't that crazy about it in the 5+1 fic and I actually care about those characters. I'm ceratinly not going to read it again about a Felicity I don't care about. What happened with other characters?
-
I can't say I'm surprised by this development. I vented on this issue a while back.

I didn't get the impression that CD will turn up at all, just that Tommy would be acknowledged by other characters. Maybe he'll just be in the other room the whole time.

Aside from alien invasion and what characters are and aren't appearing, I don't feel like there are actually are specific spoilers about the crossover yet.

Has there been something confirming it that we're not?
