I actually thought it could be FB Oliver wishing a happy birthday to his lonesome, but I could be persuaded on this. ?

Thanks. Maybe Rory is one of those characters?

Ho has been saying this and where? It certainly makes sense what with the five years ending, but I don't think anything was brought over here, was it?

Yeah, I'm co-signing Stranger Things. It wasn't perfect, but one still one of my most pleasurable viewing experiences recently.
-
I haven't really rewatched it either and for the same reasons you point out. I got burned when I tried to rewatch The Goonies a few years back. I loved that movie SO much and I just had to change the channel after 10 or 15 minutes because I was ruining my childhood memories.

Kovar is alive in the flashbacks. I still think he dies by the end of them and has nothing to do with present day.

Keith sleeps with Deb at one point, which I think causes some tension between Karen and Deb. Later on, Keith and Karen do manage to get together, but then he's killed during a school shooting by Dan, taking advantage of the situation, and Karen finds out or reveals that she's pregnant with his child after his death. So, they get together and are happy for a while, but no happy ending.

Hey make Deb batshit crazy at one point. I enjoyed it at first but then it becomes utterly lame. She and Karen do stay friends for the most part, though, as far as I can remember. This is my faulty memory here, and I didn't really follow the show faithfully after the high school years, but I think Whitey makes it. Karen and Keith do get together, but there is trouble when they do. I don't know how much spoilers you want.

Pretty sure that was Anatoly's internal monologue.

You can see long dark hair flying when Tinah is tackled so I still think it's supposed to be Evelyn, only it's a stunt person, not MM.
-
My reasoning currently is that Evelyn has been more than a little affected by HIVE and her crazy was simply given the chance to flourish once she met Chase. Like, I actually believe the part about her being locked and beaten for weeks wasn't fabrication, but that it actually seemed logical to the two of them and they did it almost exactly like they told Oliver.
-
I'm still sticking to Guggenheim promoting this because he doesn't want to spoil the show eventually, and I think sooner rather than later, revealing that no, Oliver is not a happy go lucky serial killer, and has either a) been brainwashed by Chase into believing it (in which case, kudos to Slade for succeeding where the LoA had failed), or b) confusing the sense of feeling safety after killing a very, very bad person with liking killing people as has been theorized in this thread.

One, Bethany Joy Lenz is a beautiful woman. Two, James Lafferty had some seriously unfortunate haircuts during the show's run. Three, they were so cheesy it's hard to believe. A second wedding or a recommitment ceremony before they finished high school. I couldn't even place it without Michael Trucco playing Deb's brother.
-
I'm thinking it may be them playing Chase. Oliver and Dig's confrontations in the promo take place in the mayor's office and Dig's apartment. Chase obviusly has access to the office and since he broke into Felicity's place, I wouldn't rule out surveilance of Dig's place.
-
When Chase is wearing the camel suit? I actually thought that was Oliver.
-
I think it actually is follow through in that it was supposed to be Slade as the villain this year in their original plans. See also Chase stealing Felicity's glasses. Slade referenced her as the girl with glasses in that same scene.
-
It was Slade in 314 The Return. Chase is there because Manu blew it. And this is why I'm sticking to the theory that Oliver (sadly) won't actually kill Chase because they'll want to bring him back from time to time like they obviously wanted to do with Slade. Due to circumstances, however, they only ended ep with a stuntman in the Deathstroke suit.

The pause button was working overtime, let me tell you. In the extended promo, Dig is in the field with Tinah and WD, and a third guy who is not Curtis. This guy has a full face mask on, and I think it's the same one fighting somebody in the storage room. Maybe it's actually Oliver and he's fighting out of the GA suit? I honestly don't know who else it would be. I don't think Lance is in good enough shape.
-
Future head canon: Sara mentions the suit in front of Oliver who is disbelieving because Felicity don't wear no suits. Oh, but she did in Doomsday, Oliver. Hot as hell. -Hey! -What, don't act like we've never been with the same girl before. -We never did! What are you talking about?! -... I thought you knew. Huh. Surprise?
-
The kids were born when they were all still 18. Dan got Karen (high school girlfriend) and Deb (college girlfriend with well to do parents) pregnant in quick succession. Who is Weird Girl?

I paid closer attention to the 518 promo and could you please stop bringing people int the "secret" bunker, Oliver, for the love of God. Yeah, you can't really meet up with Anatoly in your office, but there have got to be better places than this. I hope he at least came alone. I guess that's supposed to be Evelyn tackling Tinah. Doesn't look like her, really, but I think it's a stunt double wearing a long brunette wig. Who are those people who are captured anyway and by whom for that matter? Maybe Mayor Queen's staff? No idea. I mean, I guess Chase is involved, since Evelyn is there, but there are a lot of henchmen holding people captive and so far, he's struck me as the type who keeps a close circle. BTW, is this the first time Tinah's in the field with a gun? Also, is Carly Pope supposed to be in this episode? I really wish she was so that Oliver can break up with Susan before the break if they even got together before her kidnapping at all. This is the perfect time to do it, since I really don't see this post-torturing Oliver wanting to be in a relationship. Also, who are the two guys fighting in a storage room?

I was the exact same age as the characters when it aired and I suppose that it is heartening that I could see the treatment of Jen was wrong at 15 or 16. It goes to show that girls that age are critical thinkers, TV.
