I've noticed positive chatter about 13 Reasons Why on Twitter, so I watched the trailer. When does the story take place? I'm asking because of the casettes. That seems out of time in 2017, especially with teenagers.

Why, was the content the issue? I haven't seen either.

I've been really disappointed with the newbies in this regard this season. EK was a gift last year. And to give credit where it's due, MM wasn't bad with the BTS stuff at the start of the season.

That stunt in the loft they were setting up should come a lot sooner than the penultimate episode.

I honestly never took it as 5 years exactly. I don't think May 2012 needs to match May 2017. It's just always been roughly 5 years in my mind. Nobody can convince me that Oliver was back on Lian Yu for 8 whole months last season.

So, if JS is too busy "being ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING" while SA is away at WrestleMania, it doesn't seem far-fetched to imagine that he may be filming with EBR. There's got to be a culmination there. I realize it's Sunday, but I'm assuming SA is returning tomorrow and that's when JS is filming.

In a surprising turn of events, I read a FiCoN ficlet and am feeling positive about it. It's set in Bed, Bath and Beyond, so my reasons for reading are pretty clear. Among other things - Oliver, the housemaking monster, references to Oliver and Roy's relationship - it features Felicity disciplining Ellie and being very positive towards Jules. These both sound like fine options.

I'm still skeptical about that. I think they're a handy excuse for the writers being lazy and not developing storylines and characters properly.
