  1. Keegan-Michael Key is fantastic. I hope he's on another TV series soon. Morena Baccarin. when ugly dresses happen to beautiful women. Elizabeth Moss is becoming Gillian Anderson.
  2. Damn, Alison Janney, are those cut-outs? Yowza. Julie Bowen looks good! It's always a crap shoot with her. I like the white tuxedo on Tatiana Maslany, too.
  3. Not loving Amy Poehler's dress. Or hair. Like her, though.
  4. Ariel Winter is starting to look like a younger Sofia Vergara.
  5. Joanna Frogett forgot to take a curler out of her hair. Trevor Noah...I want to like him but seeing him just reminds me how much I miss Jon.
  6. Hey, folks. I'm not sure, but I think it might be warm in LA. It's just a gut feeling.
  7. Jaimie Alexander is wearing the rainbow bridge! Alert Heimdall!
  8. I think I like Taraji P. Henson's dress. Oh, come on, Heidi Klum! That looks like someone stuck together pieces of 3 different garments that all happpen to be the same color.
  9. Looks like Amy Schumer was attacked by birds looking for a nest.
  10. Does he have a bed? I figured he entered a cryogenic chamber every night and emerged each dawn.
  11. OK! Got my adult beverage, the picture-in-picture with E and the other network is running...let's get this carpet going!
  12. I didn't understand FJ at all because I thought D, M, L, I, and X all fit as "English" versions of Greek letters. "Spelling" a letter made no sense to me.
  13. Hey, Mojoween,my Grandmother was from Lockport, so just you watch your step, missy (or buddy, as the gender may be).
  14. When I initially set up the DVR to record the show M-F, I thought extending the end time by 90 minutes was excessive. Now I'm glad I'm excessive.
  15. . Rochester? I thought she was from Lockport? But, yeah, fuck Rochester (I'm from Amherst).
  16. What I'd like to see is regional competitions in the US so the competitors could go home and practice, and then a national contest of the winners where the competitors have at least a week to get ready. I think the signatures and showstoppers are better with more time to prepare. But I don't know how that would work with US TV. Would we only see our region and then the national? Could/would any network put on the necessary number of regional shows in different TV markets every week? Maybe one longer show each week with bits from each region? But then it would be harder to get a sense of the group together and as individuals.
  17. Very few of the nominees are for shows I watch, but I'm looking forward to live snarking with all of you on Sunday.
  18. I've been railing about the word "panties" for years but people insist on using it. People suck.
  19. The kid lives in Texas. If he'd brought a homemade Glock to school, they'd hold a parade in his honor.
  20. Tarzan! I almost forgot about Tarzan applauding Carol's Tarzan yell. Ha!
  21. I don't like the idea of taking the American bakers to Britain. One of the aspects of GBBO that makes it work so well is that the bakers go home during the week.
  22. I go to the supermarket at 7 a.m., sometimes a little earlier, on Saturday or Sunday precisely to avoid children and other annoying people. I do have to dodge the stockers and their boxes, and engage in evasive maneuvers to avoid the floor cleaner, but it's still better than children and other annoying shoppers. My pet peeve is that 3 out of 4 weeks, I have to wrnagle my own shopping cart from the parking lot because all of the little ones are still out there. Plenty of big carts are available all the time but they don't have enough little ones and don't send people out to gather the abandoned little ones often enough.
  23. What I chiefly remember Alexander Hamilton for is being the hottest of the Founders. By far. I never listen to the interviews so had no idea Audrey is from WNY. Not even the accent tipped me off; I don't remember her having the notorious flat a. I'll listen more carefully tonight. Anyway, now I'm doubly glad she won.
