    Weird editing this episode. Mecole was shown sitting in the group as they watched the social media posts on the screen. Right after she was evicted.

    I see we have circled back to the days of twists involving adding tomatoes and grape jelly to something that is fully conceived and ready to go in the oven. I was surprised everyone seemed to do pretty well with it.

    I liked this show but I didn’t really understand the need for aliases. Judging was already blind. I also wondered why they didn’t start targeting the best chefs to get them out. Instead they kept giving Josh high marks. I realize that’s playing with integrity but it’s no way to win $100k :)

    I could not figure out why Cory didn’t put up Jared and Cirie. Something about being afraid Blue would win veto and take Jared down?

    I was so excited when Cory won! I knew it was too good to be true. Jared’s coming back isn’t he.

    I am already getting a winner vibe from Hollie. I don’t think Food Network can resist the visual of a woman with tattoos and piercings being the face of the Halloween Baking Championship.

    I have a problem with anyone who - after telling us repeatedly how afraid he is of going on the block - passes on the veto and takes the money. I was wondering if Cam would try to throw the challenge. He should have. Izzy is an idiot.

    Cameron should have made the same safety agreement with Matt that he made with Jag. Wait, am I rooting for Cam now? I think I am!

    These people are pathetic. Are they all playing for second place at this point? Cirie deserves to win.

    Jared is becoming a liability to Cirie’s game.

    I also don’t understand how Matt saving Jag benefitted Matt. He and Cirie kept saying how Jag would now be loyal to them, but Jag doesn’t even know who saved him. I’m confused. Also I think anyone who doesn’t use an immunity advantage on himself is an idiot. Matt might need it next week.

    It’s becoming clear that Jared is no rocket scientist. Watching him tell Blue he “might be related to someone” was painful too.

    That was actually kind of shitty of Jared to not save Reilly after she helped him last week. What was his reason for Jag, other than his mom told him to?

    I think the one girl was so excited to finally show off her fondant skills that she saw the beehive and ran with it, ignoring any other clues in the room.

    I like cooking competition shows. I like Antonia. I like the beach. Why was this show so boring?

    I swear the menu showed: vegetable pie in a pie plate, fish pie in a fish-shaped pastry, and beef pie and chicken pies in round pastry shapes. I thought that was the reason why the French ladies made vegetable- it was the only one in a pie plate.

    I’m not even an Anna hater, but that black lace cropped poncho thing was hideous. Paired with low rise plaid bell bottoms, it was even worse. I’m shocked that the judges loved it.

    I have never seen anyone put a whole beet on a grill before. That thing had to have been hard as a rock. Also - Seems kind of unfair that a guy who was a judge on Beat Bobby Flay is competing.

    What is Khanas problem with Lisa? Honestly that ugly attitude is gross to watch. I wonder if there would be that much bullying if the crepe truck was run by three men instead of three women.

    So two different teams run out of their most important ingredient and Paisani graciously saves the day? Feels fake. Along with the weird commercial that features them as rookies. Something is off, I’m going with production plant to create chaos, bring the drama, etc.
