I've often thought the same thing, and I bet Corey and Miranda will include Addie in some family events in the future. They seem like good people. Looks like Jenelle actually let Kaiser play in his play room in this episode. She must realize how terrible she appears as Kaiser's "mother", I did notice he wasn't even fully dressed. Yes, I know, babies can play in their diaper and it's no big thing, but when it's Jenelle I just assume it's her uncaring attitude. Then she blows up Barbara's phone, wanting her to bring Jace over after a long work day? Eff right the hell off Jenelle. If I were Barbara, I would change my phone number. Is Cole deliberately baby-talking? His speech is odd.

This is what I'm afraid is going to happen to Kaiser. Jenelle is so careless with him, I'm surprised she didn't throw him in the crib WITH the hot dog a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if some day she doesn't ignore him right to death.

Well said, could not agree more! I wonder if Kail is in therapy.....she seems like she truly wants to do better with her kids than her own mom did. In light of her difficult upbringing, her young age, etc, I'm rooting for her to grow and learn as both a parent AND a person. Marrying Javi was obviously a mistake, IMO, but she seems to love her boys and unlike SOME of the other moms on this show, she actually is working to make sure they have the best. She's the only one, on both versions of Teen mom I think, to pursue a college degree and I give her big props for that as well. She has a book out, that was what the photo shoot with the boys was all about, right? She's not content to coast on MTV income, she's one of the few on any iteration of this program that seems to realize this tv money isn't going to last forever. I remember reading somewhere, and I know it's been talked about in the threads, that Leah supposedly spent the girlses trust account. That tells you right there that she hasn't saved a nickel for anything. She's another one doing a piss-poor job of parenting, but as I said in another thread, I feel sorry for her suffering and I do believe she loves her girlies.

This is exactly what I think, and I also envisioned those orphanages. This is abuse that will damage that baby for life, as you said. I wanted to jump through the television and wring her neck, watching Jenelle roll around a baby's playroom while completely ignoring the baby. That poor child, how many people would love to adopt that precious little chunk? And his "mother"'s utter selfishness absolutely takes precedence over what's best for Kaiser. I think this is the best example I've ever seen of how UNselfish it is when people not prepared to parent allow their child to be adopted. How much better off Kaiser would have been, to go to an adoptive home. And even Barbara doesn't want to get attached to him. It's just tragic.

You've got a point here, I really hadn't thought of it this way. I hate seeing what Leah's choices are doing to her kids, but she does love them I believe. She really needs help and all snark aside, I truly hope she gets it. There IS no help for Jenelle, I don't think. I don't even play an internet doctor, so I won't speculate about her diagnosis, but I don't think there's medicine for what ails her.

Exactly! I mentioned that scene at Jace's birth in the thread for the previous episode, it was odd and very non-maternal. Also agree re Nathan having some feelings for his son, we don't know what would happen if he had to care for him full time but I'd like to think it would be much better for that poor baby. And he looks just like Nathan, all the more reason for Jenelle to ignore him.

I can totally see this, then when she's done with the latest baby daddy, she'll be done with his child too. All the same, I hope Kaiser gets away from her "care" as soon as possible, to Nathan OR his mother. Jenelle's neglect of Kaiser is hard to watch.

Me too. It just couldn't be more obvious that Jenelle's children are only incidental to her life. She lay in that playroom, with her baby right there, and texted, talked to the friend-of-the-week, tells us all she's happy cuz she met someone on Tindr, was it? Meanwhile she's in a damn room perfect for Kaiser to play and explore, and you wouldn't even know he was there if we didn't get a couple of quick shots of him standing in the tiny pack-n-play. I hope Nathan gets this footage, THIS is what Jenelle means when she says "Kaiser could be spending time with ME!"

I actually thought Kail had a point though, when she said "what is Isaac going to look up to?", when referencing Jo's lack of ambition or career. I get that they have a newborn at home right now; Jo has every right to wear sweatpants for Gods sake. But in general, he's not very motivated and I think that' s what Kail was really upset about. I want to know what product Chelsea must use to prevent her makeup from rubbing off on everydamnthing.......she must use something or Cole would be covered in it.

Dying laughing, the image of a truly filthy Isaac is for some reason cracking me up. Kail's head would explode. Yeah, she probably is like that because of her upbringing, but get over it already. So not worth having a big fight with your son's father. Jenelle continues to completely ignore Kaiser. I saw him in her scene last night, he was in the corner in his pack-n-play. She never even looked at him, I want her to give that baby to someone ASAP. Now that she's finished with his father, he's only good to her as a tool with which to manipulate Nathan, and it just makes me sick, she doesn't even notice him.

i agree. Jo is one of the original Dads, he's making money on MTV! if he can't afford court-ordered child support he really needs to get a job.

Kail needs to focus on the big picture here: her son's father is active, loving, and involved in his life. He's also got a new baby at home; Kail is clearly projecting her anger over something else IMO. I am finding Javi just insufferable, and I think Kail is as well.

Right there with you, I'm hoping at least Nathan gets him. This may not be great, but I think Nathan has feelings for Kaiser, he seems to show him affection. Even Barbara seems to have distanced herself from this poor baby, I guess she feels like she's too old to try to raise yet another of Jenelle's children. Barbara is flawed like the rest of us but she's a human with feelings, it must register with her that Jenelle truly cares nothing for that child. Exactly!

This! lol, Jace being the weekend nanny. He might at least engage with Kaiser, Jenelle certainly can't be bothered. And does Barb ever hold him, or interact with him at all? Kaiser, I mean, I can't recall seeing the two of them together much, I think Barbara just can't bring herself to see how abusive Jenelle is to him.

In that scene they cut to Kaiser's food tray, on the high chair. It looks like Jenelle did tear it in half! Kaiser has some gnawed-on food there, processed meat and white bread. Where's the baby food Jenelle? He's a baby! It just killed me that she didn't wash him or even wipe his hands before throwing him in his crib. Being clean is comfort, having a dry diaper is important. She has no feelings for him at all.

Who is the guy? He;s one of those people who always looks like they just bonded out of county (jail).

I actually realized this as I was typing it, but I despise Jenelle so much I decided to let it stand :) She's an awful, uncaring mother, not deserving of that title in any way. Yeah, I think most of us would. She has those three little girlses who are counting on her, even if Gracie is doing most of the care taking right now. Textbook children of addicted parents, one of them is always doing the parenting role. I certainly believe Adam comes around for the MTV paycheck. And who is that very skeezy friend of his?

Isaac's room is adorable :) Good stuff Kail. She's the one I most admire in this incarnation of TM, she's overcome the most to get where she is. Chelsea is also doing very well with Aubree, IMO, but she's had rock-solid family support the entire journey. Not to take away from her experience, just the difference between her and Kail. Both these young women are going to make mistakes, but as moms they at least have their kids' best interests at heart. Leah would surely say that she has the girlses best interests at heart, but no honey, I'm sorry. When you're in active addiction, your number one thing is your drug of choice, that's it. Everything else comes a distant second, as we're seeing right on camera. The sight of Leah sleeping while Miranda and Corey celebrated their victory was pretty poignant. One more comment about little Kaiser: he's already getting way too fat, and that's a direct result IMO of Jenelle shoving a bottle, or food at him every time he makes any noise at all. And certainly she would never do anything so mundane as take her son outside, let him run, enjoy the sun and grass, etc. So a lifetime of obesity, although from the looks of things, that might be the least of his problems.

Nothing at all Jenelle ever does would surprise me, she truly doesn't have any human feelings that I can see. Just the crazed, dive-into-chaos anger she shows when something doesn't go her way. Even on the day Jace was born you could see it. If you watch her on "16 and Pregnant", when Jace is born she just kinda says "hey bud" like you ran into a friend at the store. It was just odd. Kaiser is truly doomed if Nathan doesn't follow through so I'm praying he goes into court with some video of Jenelle's "mothering". God, we ALL make mistakes but this shit is something that's just scary, straight evil.

I was wondering if she threw him in there holding an entire hot dog, not cut up or anything. Nothing would surprise me with this awful woman, I doubt she can be bothered to bathe him or keep him reasonably clean. I didn't see any diaper check either, just throw him in the crib.

The "Crimes against the English language" is my favorite part of the recaps. Farrah is the worst; she tries so hard to sound educated.
