Did I see Trish lift one of those black olive-like things to her mouth and pretend to taste as Jen actually did take a nibble into it and experienced almost instant tongue tingling and numbness and extreme bitterness? Trish tricked Jen into being guinea pig. What a sport! Trish didn’t immediately have her tongue go whacko, meaning she faked it. Mikey will try it! ( from a long time ago commercial selling cereal where kids used the little brother as taste tester before they would try it)

I didnt mean to be rough on EJ. He is a great boost mentally for Steven after showing up. And hey, we all will be worrying about our hips someday. I actually thought he was great when dealing with the difficult member Suzaahn last season. He really handled that very well. I just wish he was the one who insisted that Steven ate the last bites of that fish, because at this point Steven is feeding off his own muscle and bones, while EJ still has plenty of body fat to keep him alive and out of the danger zone.

It was mean of the trio to plan a secret run away to leave Amber behind by herself without an explanation of why, or even having the much needed sit down to hash out the personal qualms each has with each other. I think Trish is a huge coward in that aspect. Jen.... pfftt. She acts like shes only working with half a brain to begin with, so she was good only as a wood gatherer from the get go. Jeff was the champion of shit stirrers this season and is also added to the list of cowards for not trying to get any of the girls to listen to each other, but instead choosing to sit in and stir the stew instead of having a real powwow started and try to mend some of the wounds in that groups dynamic. Ambers gonna Amber, and she is still always trying to get Trish to defer to her. Why not ask JEN outright to do something like clean or boil the fish? Its always only Trish she outright asks by name to do the task she wants someone else to do. Amber also said she asked the girls to all go fishing, the 3 of them together that day, but we never saw that, and I don’t believe she did ..having only 3 little pieces of bait for the job. I highly doubt she would relinquish even one crumb for anyone elses (inept in her mind) hook. I can see why Amber annoyed the crap out of all of them. She really was performing the whole time for the camera as if she was self promoting to get herself instagram fame and hopefully a sponsorship of some sort, having to do with survivalism. Much like the women and men these day do on the Bachelor/Bachelorette series. They want to all be models or movie stars or get their own talk show or whatever, and not really there to find the love of their life. If I were out in the jungle with her trying to do this 40-60 day survival, it would annoy the crap out of me to watch her prancing and preaching and back patting herself and overseeing micromanagement of every foot placement on a raft, water boil, or roll of a log down a hill, etc, etc, etc, etc. I would be there for the experience of the “journey” lol, and living like that for a while, and not using it as an audition for a wilderness show of my own. Or whatever. She definitely is not doing it in a mean spirit though. Shes doing it in a self centered motivation with an end result of fame in mind, and it must be kind of nauseating for the others to have to watch and feel like the “extras” in the constant performance for the audition (in her own mind) Amber was putting on for the camera crew. Still, the other 3 sucked as human beings, much more than Ambers desire for fame, dominance, and worldly recognition sucked. EJ and his fat potato body should not be taking any bites of fish out of Stevens mouth at this point. I have never seen Steven look so “slender” and look so shaky as he has this season. If I were EJ, I would not have accepted the last bites of fish Steven offered him. Now Steven has to worry about 2 mouths getting fed and making sure the old guy doesn’t break a hip on his watch.

I’d send Ramoaner the bill for any cost of the changes that had to be made, because of her stupidity. I’d probably uninvite her, also. -

What the heck is going on with these new reaction buttons? Some of them are pretty dumb. Like .. Oh ! How teddybear that post was! Or, ..that post made me feel like a rainbow! And the fire, what the heck ? Plus they took away two actual reaction icons of surprise and sadness. This is just really weird. I don’t like it. -

This episode was not entertaining, and was boring. I was completely uninspired to stick around for the new Dubai debut. So I didn’t. Just what I need. More hyped drama with cattiness and fake friends. Not interested. Ho hum -
Nope, I cant stand Trish either. Its just that at this point I cant stand Amber even more. Trish was a real big jerk back in episode “Trish is being a big jerk” episode 2, or 3, I forget. She has toned it down though since that episode, in attempts to keep the peace in the threesome and has been trying, where as Amber just doesn’t take the hint as to why Trish started acting passive aggressively in the first place. That someone might be acting that way as a reaction to her own personality of pushy know it all, doler out of ALL the tasks, teller of what to do and when to do it. Expecting immediate compliance to her constant asking of the others to perform the tasks exactly as she outlines. Even how to use her own arms to chop a tree in a certain way, micro management of whom she has obviously deemed her employees. Then treats them like children with her false upbeat cheerleader style of praising her little gold star earners when they do anything she wants them to do. Theres no genuine warmth in her style, and the other two can sense/feel that. Her praise feels more like a tactic to steer people. Like people do with widdle children. I’m not a passive aggressive person, but maybe I would be if stuck in the woods with someone I didn’t really know well, who is acting like Amber is. Nah...I’d probably just tell them to fuck off. I don’t use “techniques” when interacting with people, and will automatically be turned off when others try any kind of manipulation with me. Passive aggressiveness is a cowards way to deal with other people. Who is she to go overboard with her take charge of everything on all their N&A days? ....but its mostly that Tone behind everything she says. Nope, they both suck, lol, it’s just I am thinking that Amber is sucking quite a bit more than Trish at this point. I do understand why Trish pushes back, and I don’t understand why Amber doesn’t take the hint. Its Trish’s method of of teaching Amber how she wants to be treated. One of my top go to mottos is this : You teach people how to treat you by what you allow, what you stop, and what you reinforce. At this point Trish is reinforcing what she wont allow herself to be treated like. Amber is pushing pushing pushing her absolute desire to tell others what to do, and its not working out well. As for Ambers military training possibly making her the way she is,.... well I have a daughter who is an Army MP staff sergeant in the reserves, who has from graduation from basic training, been the one who has been the head and leader of her troops and has never acted like this. She is greatly loved by her fellow soldiers and never wields her authority over them like a control freak. Making them feel like they are the peons who are outclassed by her. Even in her work at home, away from the army, she has made huge leaps and bounds in her career because of her great leadership qualities. Everyone just loves her and they do whatever they can, for and with her, because they WANT to.

Nope, Jeff is not being good. He’s stirring it up for sure. Normally I’d be mad at his actions, ... but there’s just something about these circumstances with Amber that, for the very first time, I am enjoying his presence in the jungle. I think Amber thought he’d be on her “side” concerning Trish and Jens “non compliance”. Surely he would see that she’s right and they are wrong. The way they don’t want to follow her orders after she spends ALL DAY away from the water boiling and wood gathering, while she slogs away the hrs, fishing. Fishing is fun! I love to fish, and there is many a person who leaves the homestead and family behind while they go off fishin! All day! Its an addicting sport, and I know Amber enjoys it. She acts as if its a great burden for her to fish, “providing for the little womenfolk” back home who are cooking and cleaning and doing all the boring tasks. The nerve she had in asking Trish to clean the fish, like Trish has nothing better to do than make a sign, after shes been back at the fort all day doing the stuff Amber doesn’t want to do. Its the way Amber says things to Trish and Jen. Who died and made her the boss of them? Along with the acting like she’s taught them everything they know and how condescendingly proud she is of her little students. Her animated team spirit comes off as very fake when she praises anything “her girls” accomplish. Its all just another way to pat herself on the back for being such a good teacher of these ignorant babes in the woods. Akkkk! She is definitely acting like this is HER survival show and they are there to be her little background helpers. Yeah, I’m loving Jeff siding with the little background helpers. It seems to me he was told about the way Amber is bumming out the other 2 before he got there. Go ahead Jeff! Take her down a notch or two. I’m here for it, even if it is Jeff. I do think from the preview though, that he is not going to last too long, this time around.

They are very good jumpers at the high jump and long jump! Thankfully she is not going to get to 30 lbs because she sometimes decides its jumping around time as I’m heading to bed. I have never seen a cat though that is so heavy in density than these savannahs. She looks like she weighs 5lbs, and is built like an oriental shorthair, but shes deceptively heavy at 8-9 lbs. Still growing too. Very outgoing and doglike and a great loving companion. I heard Justin Bieber got himself 2 of these savannahs, but he got the early generation kind which is 1 or 2 generations away from the initial serval/domestic cat breeding, to obtain the hybrids. Those are the ones that reach 30 lbs. Mine is 5 generations from the original breeding and they are normal cat size at this point. I recently saw he gave the cats back to the breeder after having them a couple years. Poor babies. A designated cat room for jumping, climbing and zooming is necessary for those bigger, wilder ones. I guess they became too much for him to deal with, though I am sure he had enough room in his mansion to dedicate to a playroom for these wonderful animals. -
Sure looks like Jeff picked up on Ambers number right away. She sure was quick to gossip about, and put down Trish and Jen as soon as she and Jeff were out of ear shot. Thats not nice. Surprisingly Jeff is being very astute and picking up on the social vibes immediately. He is not bumming me out at all. He’s being good. I am hoping he sticks around and the puking from the environmental change doesn’t take him down too far or fast. Amber with her, “Can you clean the fish Trish?” Like a mother dealing out the menial chores. What the heck is the big deal about cleaning the fish yourself after catching them Amber? Ohhh, thats right. She caught those minnows and is beneath actually cleaning them. There was absolutely no reason she couldn’t just clean the fish instead of trying to assert her authority over the puny minnow haul. She can’t seem to help herself from trying to dole out all the little, less fun tasks, she wants the underlings to do for her on command. Like right now! Hup to it! She wants everyone’s indebtedness for any food she brings in, with the hooks only she has and lords over. I cant wait for Jeff to encourage her to use her hooks in any place she personally didn’t decide upon. Amber would raise rebellious kids if she had any with that constant attitude of do-as-I-say. Now. Always testing her authority over other people. Kids don’t do well with being backed into a corner constantly. I could see her with her arms crossed, glaring and tapping her foot at her kid, like a cartoon strict mom forcing her child to jump through the hoop she just required of them. Now. Steven is showing weight loss. I sure hope he and EJ get a meal before they hike out. Matt, Waz and Dan are a good threesome. Dan looked like he was starting to fade a bit there at the end of the episode and I hope it has nothing to do with his hand becoming infected, though it was surprising we didn’t hear one peep of ouch come from him while using his hand.

Ericas hair Sure is a mess in that pic, and far from pretty. That is a savannah cat. She is 7months old now. With your new cat hair extentions, will you also have permed style? To match a beautiful cornish rex’s coat? 😺 -

Diana was chomping when she was eating those french fries in the car. Also talking while eating, giving full view of the chewed food in her mouth. -
Oh boy Dan. That deep puncture looks like it hurts and is going to be hurting more a bit later on. I hope they gave him an antibiotic shot to try and head an infection off.I would have never taken that risk he did, since being its only self defense, those anteater nails are bound to be used to fight for its life. Amber is doing the I did this and I did that, show. I set a line over here, I set a line over there, I set a line over There, and I set a line over THERE. Not just, theres a line here, there and over there. Ok. Gotta get all the I me’s in, describing every sainted move she makes. All credit for everything goes to Amber. We get it that it is only you who are setting the lines and making sure the world knows that it is you, St. Savior, of a team in the jungle. No one dare try to do it themselves, or just do it too, or ask to set a line themselves. Ya know,,, put a fish head on a hook and put it in the water and drape the line over a branch or stick and tie the end of the line to a solid object. Like one of those trees or something. The I, me show, might start looking like a Naked and afraid team of past XL seasons. I’ve never seen any other time when one person is blatantly acting like and Believing they are the leader and every little thing has to be done their way. Also though she doesn’t tell people what to do directly, she “suggests” quite often what she wants the others to be doing. After her instructions on how to do it, of course. Most people who do this show aren’t complete city slicker greenhorns, and have above simpleton intelligence and know how. I’m sure at the very least, they’ve watched tv shows that showed scenes of people hunting and catching fish, lashing poles, and gain some kind of clue how to do it. I forget... did Amber bring the hooks or something? The expert in her should have checked those freshly cut wood logs for good buoyancy before building the whole raft that cant even stay afloat with one persons weight on it. Oh boy, looks like the girls are the ones who will be blessed with Jeff’s presence on their “journey”. What a bummer for them! I feel sorry for Trish and Jen the most. This is going to be interesting seeing how Amber deals with this scene stealing, loud blustering obnoxious intrusion into her personal self promotion show. Now that I’ve seen Amber in action, I can’t unsee it. I’m glad Steven didn’t get Jeff. He’s been through enough punishment, with being alone and not having enough food. He certainly wouldn’t feel alone anymore if Jeff walked into his camp. It would be like having 10 whole new idiots added in, all at once!

Yes, it is unfathomable that any man in his right mind would want to become involved with her at this point in her life. You’ll also notice she didn’t specify whether or not an actual real live man was attached to what she said shes been receiving a lot of lately. I want to clarify I am thinking about the nightstand drawer kind of companion. -

My take on Suttons very awkward back and forth with pushy, stirrer, Kyle is that she just refuses to be dragged into talking about Dorit and her break in and be forced to pretend she believes it happened the way Dorit says it happened. She just doesn’t believe it! Shes TRYING to convey to eternally bologna filled Kyle, while the camera is pointing at them, that she does NOT want to talk about and will not be dragged into talking about Dorits drama. No matter how hard Kyle is trying to pull her into the lying and play acting, that Sutton most likely thinks it is, she wont bite, and its driving Kyle insane. Lol Sutton obviously wouldn’t be dragged into playing along with the groups standing behind Ericas lies, and now it looks like shes trying to stop them from trying to drag her into the theater over this shenanigan too. She doesn’t want to be untrue to herself and sink to the lying levels of these freaks. AND Kyle.... she doesn’t want to outright say that is why. Shes actually trying to PROTECT Dorit by keeping her mouth shut, and not saying what she thinks. Kyle, .. you cannot force Sutton to LIE. Not for you, not for Dorit, and certainly not to herself, which ultimately is what she’d be doing. She doesn’t believe it happened the way Dorit says it did. Plus she doesn’t want to have a new kick me sign taped to her back if she does voice her personal thoughts about it all. Back off! Get it yet Kyle? You cant force people to think and act and say what you want them to think and act and say, especially if you are asking them to live a lie, just to make you and the other liars happy. We all saw what was on the video. Things don’t add up and she too has the right to have her doubts. Maybe they should stop while they are ahead and leave her alone on that. I’m sure the insurance company would find it interesting what we all think of the break-in where Dorit was almost killed! Thankfully they left her strobe flashing phone gently placed at the gate, so she could call the police on them though. -
My take on the crazy weird animated glee Erica is showing during Dorits performance is this... I think she is just LOVING sitting back and watching a liars act while on center stage instead of it being HER that’s the one being scrutinized under the microscope of the viewers. One liar watching the performance of another liar and digging it. Maybe taking notes. Just loving the fact it isn’t her own deviance thats going under the microscope for once. Happy that someone else is just like her and playing a part for the deception of gaining money (insurance dollars) in an unscrupulous fashion. She doesn’t feel so bad about what she does (if thats possible) because right there, is someone else on center stage, putting on the performance. The only glee she didn’t show was a standing ovation. Funny also, is that Sutton wasn’t invited to the show that night. She would not have been a good audience member and they know it. Her eye rolling would not have been helpful to Dorits cause and performance.
-
Lol madmax. I give a crap what you think. I’ve been rewatching, because I wasn’t paying full attention the fist time, so I went back to take a lookie see. I notice that Amber talks to the girls like they are third graders and she is their teacher. She plays it to the hilt for the cameras and just the way she talks to the other two, she talks down to them, like shes humoring and instructing 3rd graders on a field trip. Is she a grade school teacher? Anyway, shes extremely annoying. The way she talks to people and the words she chooses to use. Very condescending. Practically everything out of her mouth is punchable after you’ve had enough. Handing herself a gold medal for teaching Jen how to fish. I think Jen would have been able to figure it out if she had to on her own. The shelter looked beautiful with woven door. A lot of work went into that shelter and I know she didn’t do that by herself. Something happened in between last week and this weeks episode. A definite unspoken change in vibe between the girls in that group. I think Ambers style of Sheena queen of the jungle and her playing the cameras, acting like shes the star of her own show with the others as her supporting role characters, finally got to Trish and Jen. Yeah... I’m seeing it.
-
Yes, Exactly! The whole problem is lack of communication. Amber Does have an annoying air of a confident girl scout leader, provider and direction giver of the group. Her intentions are good, but her delivery is rejected as being dictatorial. I can see that Ambers “teacher” efforts can be a bit much at times. They are not complete greenhorns that need to be taught about being out in nature and the dangers therein. The way to deal with the resentment about that, growing with the other two is not to be childishly defiant and obstinate like Trish is, but to talk it out like adults. Bring it to the table. Tell Amber her delivery is sometimes off-putting instead of cowardly refusing to communicate this to her. Refusing to contribute to the camps needs as a way to display dissatisfaction and biting off your nose to spite your face like a bratty child, is being stupid and setting back real survival necessities. Trish and Jen want Amber to be a mind reader, because they are too cowardly to bring up their grievances with Ambers style of communication, which is “suggestions” for helping in what is needed to get the job of GROUP survival, done more easily. I agree. It is exactly like what Shane went through with the cackling bullies. Nay sayer to all he is, was, and did.
-
Well that Trish is a real dish, huh? Seems like shes an adult with oppositional defiance disorder who is unwilling to bend even the slightest to contribute to the teams immediate necessities, such as shelter roof reinforcement which is NEEDED before the big rain.. which came anyway and seemed to fall only on Ambers side of the shelter. Jens a real wimp too, silently following along with Trish’s defiance of ANYthing suggested by Amber. I wonder if they made sure their sides of the roof were covered well, while Amber was out fishing, cutting down trees, collecting firewood, food and water, etc etc. What do they have against Amber except that she wants help from her team members with the hard and dreary daily tasks of surviving this bug filled pit of hell? To get the big stuff out of the way, so they ALL can reach a point where they can enjoy a bit of relaxation, and easier time in the jungle. No, don’t even suggest to Trish (and no-personality sock puppet Jen) that you kind of expect help with the hard stuff while she and Jen cater to their bed frames for FOUR (or 5) days or making a net for 2 entire days. Being pissy because she, Trish, finally broke down and helped when (heaven forbid!) asked to, with felling the tree that was going to be used as a very helpful bridge for the trio. Pettily continuing to almost chuck a great piece of wood Amber wanted to keep as firewood, in the water at the hornets nest. It was no big deal not to toss it and find another piece, but Trish just had to push it. It looked like an excellent piece of dry wood for burning a long time. I’m glad Amber won that round, especially since the lazy twins don’t look like they’ve collected very much firewood FOR THE GROUP. Trish seems more interested in sitting on her ass and talking sheeit about Amber... all the live long day. And ignoring or opposing any suggestions Amber brings up. That stands out as her main goal on this survival attempt, to me, the viewer. She never comes up with a better or alternative suggestion for survival herself. Shes just an eternal nay sayer, “cuz nobody’s gonna tell HER what to do! Dammit!” Jen is just being a wimpy passive aggressive follower of Trish, for some odd reason. Maybe Amber came off as a take charge kind of person, which is annoying to other independent minded women, but Trish just wont let it go. Her priority has been to childishly defy every and any thing Amber suggests or wants help with now. They certainly are doing better survival wise because Amber is there doing all shes been doing, with minimal help from the peanut gallery whose main goal seems to be to defy and purposely annoy Amber at every chance. Jerks.
-
Yes! That and more. Her eyes were wide and bugging out with Glee and she even had her teeth showing in a sort of smile, lol, at times. In your picture above she is literally smirking! Such inappropriate facial expressions for the tone of what was going on in front of her.
-
Did anyone else notice the weird smiley crazy eyed look Erica had on her face the whole time they were all in the living room at Kyles when PK came in and Dorit was all schmoopy Bubba hugging and crying at, and with him? Everyone else was showing downturned mouths and projecting awww poor Dorit and PK who have been so violated.... you know, the proper way to be if your friends had just experienced what they claim to have happened. Erica was like she was gleefully watching some movie with a very weird smile and wild eyes the entire time. It was SO WEIRD! It was like that same look she had on her face when trying to make Garcelle believe that she had been basically exonerated from the charges, which of course she hadn’t been, but was trying to push that lie on Garcelle and the desperate look on her face while closely watching Garcelles reaction, in hopes that Garcelle was going to fall for the fib. Saying that there was no written proof of this at her fingertips to show Garcelle, or the producer she was sniping at. Snappily telling them to go look through all the info her lawyers have publicly dispersed to find this supposed exonerating info (that isn’t there). She had one sick look on her face during that part of her conversation with Garcelle. Literally a sick look on her desperate face. The crazy smiley look on her face while watching Bubba and Dorit suffer through their performance at Kyles was like an insane persons face and reaction to the pain being shown by the two victims of the burglary. If you can, go rewatch these 2 parts of her conversation with Garcelle, and then her wild look of delight while watching PK and Dorit suffering together in Kyles living room. Scary crazy.
-
Well, I went and watched it out of curiosity. I really don’t want to give this franchise my time and energy anymore. I found myself pretty bored with the episode. Sutton not giving a crap is kind of like how I feel too. I saw no real tears, just a lot of eye/face hiding and fake cry voice from Dorit who should have stayed home with her kids instead of socializing if it was that big a deal that just happened in her life. I saw no wetness from the eyes and heard no snoot from the nose that happens when people are Really crying. Also PK not going straight to the house, his home that had just been broken into and family threatened, when he got back from London, but instead he too went to the party. Just weird. No! Air time and playing to the cameras is more important than the life threatening event that supposedly just happened to their family. Yeah, sure. I ain’t buying it. Didn’t then, and seeing this fake tears performance now, the day after, cements it for me. Maybe I am the cold one, but I cannot manifest the fake tears and emotion that Kyle seems to be a professional at doing. She had more real tears than the none I saw from Dorit. Not getting dressed to the nines and putting on makeup, does not make you look like you’ve been crying. It just makes you look like you’re dressing down for sympathetic reaction. Just as weird, were the two hooded burglars who gave off a female vibe, just casually moseying up to the back door, chatting like they were talking about the weather before the one used the glass breaking tool on the door. It didn’t give me “real burglar” vibes. No crouching and checking to see if anyone was behind the glass first. It all looked fake and acted out to me. I saw the whole video in the past where they then moseyed out with the big blanket and then set a big flashing light at the gateway. What was that flashing light about? Was this the phone Dorit said they left her? What criminal would post a siren like strobe light at the spot they just burglarized? If Sutton is seeing it the same way I am, then I completely understand her disinterest at talking about the false drama conjured up by the Look-at-poor-me person of the moment. It appears she’s just not into the lies, or giving them credence, like they were trying to force out of her with Ericas lying lies. Me neither.
-
Lol.. yes, I noticed Nicole had maximum mouth movement when she spoke. Maybe thats why she was so tired all the time, working those lip and mouth muscles. It would have been very hard for me to watch and listen to her talking. She was pretty darn lazy too. Then she had the nerve to go and pull a stick out of the fish trap maze that Diogo had worked on ALL day. I would have let her have it way worse than Diogos short periods of annoyance with her. He voiced his aggravation with her, mostly only to the camera men, and then was over it in record time. She made sure to tell the cameras that making a fish trapping basket was a very loooong slooooow process before she started so as to give herself a pre-excuse for taking such a long time while also letting the fire go out and not preparing water for the pair, making sure Diogo had none to replenish himself with after walking around all day in the hot sun, hunting. She also let him do all the building of the boma when they first got there which I found extremely rude and entitled while she took the long and slow way to retrieve some water. She wanted him to do all the “mans work”, while she hardly did even the minimal “womans work” at their camp. She was a lazy lump! Theres always one in the bunch!
