  1. What the hell could be so inspiring about Angela? She's what in her mid-20's? To my knowledge she did not overcome anything major in her life. These people on Twitter are tapped in the head.
  2. Well the bidet segment was at least somewhat humorous.
  3. Hey even if you did or do like Natalie, that's cool with me. I personally do not like her because I thought she was a scumbag when she was on TAR and stole the money. But like I said, there are ton of people who I am fans of that are hated by others. I might have been the only Angelina fan from David vs. Goliath and Coach was one of my favorites (Though the weird religious version of Coach on his last season was far less likable). I liked Tyler during his first run and while I am not thrilled by his selections this week, once both Janelle and Kaysar are gone Tyler, Da'vonne (Even if she is playing a bad game, I can't help it. There are just certain people you like), and Enzo would be the next three people I would want to see win.
  4. See I was firmly on the Nicole hate train by the time it was her and Paul in the Finals. As much as I disliked Paul, I wanted to see him win. I remember thinking, "I don't mind if a woman beats a man in the final two, just please don't let it be Nicole." With all that said I wanted her to win on season 16 because I disliked Derrick and his alliance. I was a Donny fan and because of that with Nicole being his ally I became a fan of her. I agree with you I kind of wish David was brought back for a Second Chances season. I am glad you put IMO, because IMO Natalie Anderson is not and never should be considered a genuinely likable or rootable finalists. Well honestly, I bet David says to himself every day, "Oh yeah, I'm still here." So you're not wrong in forgetting about him. Same here. I thought David had a pretty good grasp of the game and was pretty funny. That was why I was happy to see him get another chance even if I thought he would have been better off on a Second Chance season.
  5. It was so long ago, but if I remember right he got something like five million votes to be voted back into the house over Cappy. So yeah these people are pretty delusional if they think anyone would get more votes than him.
  6. Does he not understand that he, Janelle, and I would say Donny are the three most popular people ever on the show? I get him missing his family, but I wonder why he would think that people would ever say bad things about him when he is the walking definition of a great person.
  7. Same here, I really do not like Bayleigh and I do not want to see her do good. But damn she is making it hard for me to dislike her with comments like that. I guess it is one of those the enemy of my enemy sort of deals. I will say one thing about Bayleigh she can be very charming when she wants to be. This was just not one of those occasions.
  8. I posted this in the Big Brother Media thread as well, but I know there are some folks who do not watch Big Brother so I thought I would post it here as well as it has more to do with Survivor than Big Brother. Russell Hantz from Survivor has a YouTube show and last week he had Boo (who was a contestant on Survivor during Earl's winning season) on as a guest. Boo told a story about how he was cast to be on Survivor. Boo was good friends (might have been dating, I cannot recall what he said) with Krista from season two of Big Brother. She wanted to go to the original All-Stars season finale but she was blacklisted because she was suing CBS (Over the Justin thing I assume, he did not say why.). The two of them sneaked into the finale and somehow they ended up with seats directly behind Julie. All throughout the night a woman sitting directly across from Boo was staring at him. Later that night Boo and Krista sneaked into the All-Stars after party and the woman who had been staring at Boo all night was part of the casting team for Survivor. She told Boo that they did not have anyone cast to fit his character type for the upcoming season and so she invited him to go before casting. He ended up getting on the show and through him, he was able to get his high school friend Russell Hantz onto Survivor. He was also friends with James Clement who he got on Survivor. Obviously because of Russell, Willie was cast on Big Brother and Brandon was cast on Survivor. Boo also was the reason why Colton, or as he refered to him as "that gay dude", on Survivor. He also said he got someone named Shannon cast on Survivor as well, though I am not sure who he is talking about. I think it was the guy who asked Sash if he was gay, but I am not sure. Because Boo and Krista decided to sneak into the season finale of the original Big Brother All-Stars all of these people ended up on Survivor and in Willie's case Big Brother. I thought it was an interesting story. Obviously I just gave the cliff notes here, he went into further detail.
  9. This is a little off topic but it does tie into BB in a way. I brought this us in the spoiler thread and I thought I would expand upon the post here. 10. I know I said no more off topic stuff, but I have one more. My buddies' cousin and his friends go hunting for Werewolves, Vampires and other cryptozoological creatures every weekend in this state park in Massachusetts. They get pissed when I bust their balls about it.
  11. Not to derail the thread but this does sort of have to do with Big Brother in a roundabout way. Russell's YT channel talks about some interesting stuff. For instance he just did one video where he talks about how Krista from Big Brother season two is the reason why he, Boo, Colton, and James Clement were cast on Survivor. Okay sorry about taking it off topic, no more off topic from me tonight.
  12. That's right, sorry about that. People who dislike Parvati on this board are so rear, I am sorry I forgot. I blame it on old age.
  13. Besides Peach and Nashville, I do not recall who is a Survivor fan and who is not. If you are not then this name might not mean anything, but Russell Hantz has a YouTube channel and he has people do recaps of the BB episodes. Tonight's guest was Rachel and the host was trying to get her to talk about the beef between her, Janelle vs. Nicole. She would not say much about it and was being coy, but you could tell Rachel did not like Nicole.
  14. Exactly. They keep saying the "other side of the house", and I keeping saying to myself, "Does just two people officially make the "other side of the house?" Oh it will happen, she was just on the most recent season of The Challenge and she had an epic flip out on Kaycee. Trust me when I say this, it's coming.
  15. What are those horror shows made of? Vegan cake, just those words together makes me want to barf.
  16. Yes! You are preaching to the choir! But it is not just youth, it seems to be everyone now. I thought they used it on Survivor, I even said that to myself. But I could not remember if it was Aussie Survivor or American Survivor or both. I always wonder why Survivor would allow Boston Rob to wear Patriots and Red Sox hats. I thought copyright restrictions would not allow him to do so. But then again he did and I am obviously not a copyright lawyer. Exactly. A few years ago my college sent me one of those pledge things and I did not fill it out. They had the nerve to send me an email asking me why I did not give them money and how my money could help out disadvantaged students. Now I understand that was probably one of those blanket emails they sent to everyone but I sent them a reply anyway. I said, "When I was at your school I had to pay high tuition, I had to pay a ton of money for books, and I got nothing out of it. Therefore, why should I give you more money when once again I would get nothing out of it?" I know nobody probably saw that email, but man it felt good. Talking about Kaysar not forcing his religion on anyone. I think if I was in the house the two type of people that would drive me nuts would be the person who does try to force their religion and a very woke people (I am talking preachy woke). Anyone who uses the word problematic would be the first person out of the door if I had any sort of power.
  17. As a DC fan I hate to say this but what do you expect? If nothing but Batman is selling then of course they are going to cancel low selling books, it is not a charity. This is coming from someone who loved the new Hellblazer and Justice Leauge Odyssey, both of which were cancelled. This is not poor treatment of creators either. I would argue that DC did more for their creators as they were still putting out books while the rest of the industry shut down.
  18. I wanted to give you both a shocked face and a laugh, but I went with shocked.
  19. I laughed when she was told she had to sleep outside, she was beyond pissed. You know who I think would be a great BB Houseguest from the Challenge? Kyle. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I think he would fit in well. I am glad I was not the only one who did not find that funny. I did not laugh at anything in regards to that challenge. Wait now she thinks she's Eddie Murphy playing Buckwheat! I am not going to lie, I would love to see Christmas and Janelle have a fight. I think Janelle would mop the floor with her because Janelle is one of those people who just stay calm even in heated arguments. Which leads to the crazy person, in this case Christmas, getting even more pissed. Booger Bob FTW! I still remember him talking about all of the famous people he knew and he list Barry Drewmore as one of them. That was great.
  20. Believe it or not I do respect your take. I am not as hard line as I might come across (Emotions or the way one feels about something is often more difficult to convey in text) and I do appreciate people taking the time to talk about things from their perspectives. It often leads me to see what other people think which is never a bad thing. We might not agree about certain things but that is okay. The world would be a far duller place if we all agreed on everything.
  21. Avery Brooks in DS9 (Who is my personal favorite Star Trek Captain), Nichelle Nichols on the original Star Trek, Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Colman Domingo on The Walking Dead/Fear of the Walking Dead, Sonequa Martin-Green on Star Trek: Discovery/Walking Dead, Rutina Wesley and Nelsan Ellis on True Blood, Henry Simmons on Agents of Shield, Candice Patton and Jesse L. Martin (Personally liked him better on Law & Order) on the Flash, David Ramsey on Arrow. I could go on but I think this list is long. All were either leads or major characters on genre-based shows and most were portrayed in a positive light. Colman Domingo's character was a bit of a villain/rouge character during the first season of FOTWD, but he's had a redemption arc and he is one of the more enjoyable characters on the show. So yes I will again say the show is not groundbreaking though that was not really why I was saying it was not groundbreaking. I was thinking more along the lines of, "White people are the villains and did horrible stuff in the past." Which once again I am not refuting because it is a historical fact, I am just saying I feel like it has been done already. Get Out (Yes I know it was another white people are evil, which proves my point that it has been done by Jordan already. But I cannot deny it was a great horror movie) was great but US...that was awful, I still get annoyed over the fact that I spent money to see that movie. I will wait to see what he does with Candyman until I judge how I feel about his horror chops. Now I will say I could watch Keanu all day, that movie was awesome, hands down one of the funnier comedies I have watched in recent years. I don't care if they are messing with his work. That was never my point, my point was that Lovecraft still has a cult like following and his works are held in high regard even after all of these years. I do feel like them using his name, while also trying to make it seem like they are using his name for some noble cause, is a cash grab because there will be people who are into Lovecraft that will watch the show.
  22. I keep on forgetting. I don't know if I tried to block some of that season out of my mind or what. But I often find myself saying, "Hey wait a minute, Ian and Janelle were on a season together as well."
  23. Wait a second that was Dani's catchphrase during her first season. I remember my girlfriend at the time used to do a great impression of her and we would laugh every time Dani would whine, "It's soooo frustrating!", to Evil Dick. That was my odd BB related in joke with my ex. The other was Marvin's question to Cowboy, "Are you a lying racist. or a racist liar." I am not sure why we found that so funny but we did. Speaking of Marvin, I always wanted him to come back. He never failed to crack me up.
  24. How was David and Nicole's relationship last year? I remember him being friends with Ovi, was he friendly with Nicole as well?
