Ah ok, then let me rephrase my complaint by saying 'Why couldn't they have brought them back in the same episode so they could have a scene together?!' :) I know they're probably going to put Ruby and Mulan together, but that doesn't mean Ruby couldn't also have a scene with Whale in Storybrooke. Although I have no idea how that could fit the timeline. She'd have to come back with the group when the memory curse hit.

That's pretty much what I said, and therefore thought the 200 years earlier title shown after a Camelot scene was just a straight out mistake (which I wish they would just fess up to). I also thought it strange that there would be so many Dark Ones in such a short period of time. There must have been a lot of power hungry people going around killing them all off. It's probably futile to try to figure out the time lines when the writer's don't seem to put much thought into them.

I'm a bit bummed that Whale is returning in the same episode as Ruby, but they probably won't even have any scenes together since she's off on some stupid adventure with a guest character no one seems to care about. In the photo of Hook laying down in the flowers, does it look like he's levitating? The angle is just odd, and the bottom half of Emma's body almost looks under Hook.

I hate that she has to be so diplomatic. It just comes across as pandering to me. No one likes ALL ships.

Finally a good episode after two clunkers. Zelena and Regina actually didn't annoy me. I like those two in moderation. I didn't even mind Regina's shivering timber pirate line. Hated that Snow was so dumb, but I guess someone had to be. And of course I loved the CS scene, and Emma's I am not nothing line gave me chills. I'm dying to talk about the spoilers in the sneak peeks! Does anyone know why that thread always get closed? I think only once were a few posts accidentally made in there that should have gone in the episode thread.

The 200 Years Earlier thing must just be a mistake. They had Merlin drinking from the grail 1000 years ago, and they had him tell Nimue it happened 500 years ago. So I'm just chalking it up to a pretty bad mistake, and it should have said 500 years earlier. Even then, I don't know how all those other dark ones came to be in such a short time from then to when Rumble became the dark one. 20 dark ones in 200 years?

I'm from the US, and Robert and Emilie were the only main actors I recognized. When I finally saw Thor, I was like, hey, it's Prince Charming! I saw Walk the Line before Once, but didn't remember that Ginny was in it. I have yet to see Jen in anything other than Once.

I was very skeptical about the spoilers for the sneak peek, so I was happily surprised. Even if they retconned the whole ring thing, I'm a happy camper. And like many of you, I'm sitting in my cubical at work, trying not to fangirl too much. :)

He didn't throw a rock, he threw the bag with the anti-transformation potion in it, which is why Merida transformed back into herself.

Another really boring episode for me. The promo for next week was more interesting. I really don't like Merida. Last week she knocked out Rumple, which I guess could be forgiven since she didn't have a heart. But knocking out Belle and then joking that she was worried she might never wake up was cruel. The writers are probably going for spunky but she's just coming off as annoying to me. I liked the few scenes with the Nevengers, and Merlin's voice mail was funny. That was about it.

Hook and Regina could have worked for a hot second, but I see their relationship more as a sibling rivalry. I hope they never become friendly, like Hook and Belle have. I love their snark and that they barely tolerate each other. Right now, they are about the only two main characters left who can actually throw barbs at one another other while not being enemies.

If they book Colin, I'll totally be there!

When the sneak peek first started, I was all Ughhhh, because I thought it was going to be all about Merida because they were in the dungeon, and then BAM! Hook and Charming bust through the door. Hotness. People on Tumblr seem to be using Enchanted Beauty for Merlin/Belle. Berlin is awesome though!

Merlin's expression changed when he saw Hook, and his answer to Hook's question did not sound completely truthful.

Hook's chain really isn't that long though. photo From the side it looks like it could be one of Hook's rings, but from the front, it doesn't.

That was suuuuuuuuuuuuuper boring. The only thing I liked was Charming and Hook being giddy (again) about Henry's crush. I didn't like seeing Merida be such a b*tch, like when she clocked Gold on his noggin with the hilt of her sword. I guess she can be excused because she doesn't have her heart. Does anyone else think that Merlin gave Hook a bit of a strange look? I'll have to watch it again. Why did Emma have Violet's dream catcher in the box on the table? Was she using it to watch Violet's memories of Henry because Emma was missing him? I so wanted Hook to just pull that sword right out.

I don't think Emma's necklace looks like one of Hook's bigger rings, but I guess it could be his thumb ring. It doesn't seem long enough to be Zelena's necklace, but its hard to tell from that blurry photo. I wonder if Colin parting his hair on the opposite side than he usually does means anything? Like maybe just a slight change that the audience wouldn't be able to put their finger on, but might still feel like something was different about him?

Gotta say I'm a bit sad. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. I really don't want them to leave off pretending like he's really dead. I want to see a glimpse of him in hell or something in the closing moments of the finale. I'm sure he'll have something snarky to say to Hades or whomever.

I just found out that Luke Evans (Bard the Bowman in the Hobbit) is going to be playing Gaston in the live action movie Beauty and the Beast, and now I'm looking forward to it! But couldn't Charming's reaction be that he was shocked because it meant Snow had been with another man? Although, I remember on their honeymoon when Charming was trying to take Snow's cape off, Snow was more interested in her little mission, which I can't even remember right now. If it was going to be their first time, I would have thought she'd been a little more attentive.

Was there a spoiler about everyone's memories being trapped in the dreamcatchers Emma was making? Or was that just a theory that people here had? Sometimes I can't keep the theories straight from the actual spoilers. Maybe Emma didn't succeed in making Rumple brave. Maybe he becomes brave some other way, like because of Belle. He wouldn't fight Hook for Milah, but maybe he will fight Hook because of Belle. I really don't want Rumple fighting just to get his magic back.

So my point was just that people were actually thinking about it, hence us talking about it here! I don't know if they've done it yet or not, and I hate when people are so matter of fact about it, one way or the other. Because no, we don't know that everyone is having off-screen sex. When Emma fell on Hook in the bed, and they looked very comfortable with Emma straddling him, that was really the first time I thought, ah ok, they probably have done it. My issue isn't with whether they've done it or not, I would just prefer some hint or mention to confirm it. Yea, it might be weird to care so much about the love life of two fictional characters, but I'm a fangirl and that's how my brain works.

This was from the spoilers thread that was getting off topic. Regarding overestimating how many people actually care if CS has slept together. I agree! There's that Tumblr blog Has CS Banged Yet? which always makes me laugh when I see a post come across my dash. There's even been recent posts from lawyers and marketing people trying to explain that CS sleeping together would be good for the show, as far as making more money, and therefore it has not happened yet. The show would more than likely advertise it or save it for sweeps, since the Neverland kiss promotion was a big deal. Oh, I know. I was actually going to preface my post with something about how I don't expect every little conversation to be shown. Doesn't mean I can't be sad about it. :) But like I said, and you said, it's nice they can at least allude to them.
